Dr Timothy Cooper is one of Australia's leading Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He specialises in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Face and Breast with a particular interest in Rhinoplasty.
He undertook postgraduate training in Ireland, UK, USA and Sydney before commencing practice in Perth in 1997. He is actively involved in the teaching of postgraduate doctors and is an Honorary Lecturer in Surgery at The University of Western Australia. He is former Departmental Head at SCGH and Supervisor of Plastic Surgery Training and has been involved in training over 20 Australian Plastic Surgeons. He is widely published in peer reviewed articles and presents regularly at National and International forums in Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of ASPS, ASAPS, ISAPS and ASPRS.
He also performs philanthropic work with both Interplast and The John Fawcett Foundation in Bali, specialising in Cleft Lip and Palate and Burns Reconstruction. His work has been recognised with a Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International. In January he was awarded an Order of Australia AM in recognition of his volunteer work and services to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
