    Going Out

Sorry this isn't the answer u were looking for but if the instructions is 4 weeks then u should follow it. U didn't spend all that money to put uR boobs in jeopardy for just a one night out. Check with uR surgeon or nurse if uR allowed to wear a crop top for a few hours Instead of po bra. Plus it's winter I'm sure u can find lots of cleavage plunging winter dresses or tops without showing to much of uR bra

I would follow your surgeons instructions too, but then I'm very much not a rule breaker, I even struggle with jaywalking!

Hi Sassy007, l booked directly with PIAC and have found them to be great. I was originally thinking of going with Somnio but l have found the process so easy that l have done it myself. I think it helps that you can ask questions on here and PIAC staff are more then happy to answer questions promptly. I think the only benefit to travelling with an agent is if you were travelling alone. Good luck!

Sorry ladies I have changed my name...paranoia has set in after. Friend today walked out to me and even tho didn t know about my surgery said..HI ..oh I love your new boobs! I am rarely speechless but I was then, I just Replied oh thank you and we smiled, she is a good friend and one that's just Tells you as it is always..that is what I love about her..I was even wearing my usual baggy clothes! Another common friend came up to me an hour after and told me she had just heard and asked me about it..I said oh I don t mind you knowing but it has to be my choice if I want to tell..she said you can tell from afar honey.. You were flat as an ironing board before! Lol I must have really been stupid thinking that I could keep it hidden! Secret out now. The whole of Brisbane will know by tonight. But that has set off total paranoia of being on here and so on...so there...new name for me!

Paranoia and YES people can tell

No!! I agree with Lin, stick with the D at least! They definitely don't feel as big as they measure. My E cup feels and looks more D, maybe small DD to me. I hate when people gossip about these things! It's your happy news to share, why do other's have to beat you to it?! Though they are spectacular so there's a good chance they just noticed their radiating awesomeness.

Hi Sassy007, I am having my BA next month with Dr Rushapol and booked directly with PIAC. My dad and his partner booked directly when they had their procedures also and had no problems. Dr Rushapol is very good at what he does. :-)

PIAC Questions - Timing and Payment

Hi Lolos. I had my consult at 8.30am and was on my bed waiting to be wheeled to surgery at 10.30. As soon as I finished consult, I paid, then was taken to blood test, xray and then room, with no time to spare, which was great. I actually had to ask to be able to fit in a toilet stop before surgery as it all went so quick lol! I researched in depth the best way to pay. The Bank Transfer from Oz is the most expensive. Have a look at the PIAC payment forum on here. PIAC use the Westpac exchange rate (most expensive) even though they don't use a Westpac account. Many people pay by cash or credit card. Remember that if u use your standard credit card, you will be charged a fee of 2 - 3% currency conversion by your bank, which could end up being a couple of hundred dollars. I got a 28degrees credit card which has 0 fees and 0 exchange rate fees. The exchange rate they use is the standard Mastercard Exchange Rate. You can check this online each day to see how much it would cost. Put THB (surgery quote) as the currency, then work out the conversion for AUD from the figure listed. Also get them to put the payment through in Thai Baht (THB) instead of AUD to save another exchange fee. The exchange rate on the street at the moment is in the 29.05 - 29.90 range, which is the best it has been in years. I worked it out that it was cheaper/easier to pay the whole amount on 28degree c/card, as you have c/c protection and don't have to worry about carrying the cash. Just remember to tell your bank ahead of time that you will be making a large transaction overseas on the day of your surgery. I don't work for any bank, but I know I hate wasting money on fees/exchanges rates when I could be spending that on something more worthwhile :-)

    August Boobies 2014!

So happy loving my new boobs, pain not to bad, so in love with my new additions
  9. 1 point
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and thought I would share my previous experience and my new plans for the future. It's coming up to my 4 year anniversary of having my BA done by Dr Chan in Perth. Starting out I was barely an 'A' cup, I didn't even need to wear a bra so having surgery was like stuffing a chicken! I got 345cc half under the muscle with the incision under the crease. Recovery for me was awful, I was bed ridden, got post op blues and felt like I had been hit by a truck. Going into my consultations I couldn't stress enough that all I wanted was a cleavage, at not one point was I informed that this was highly unlikely due to my bone structure and not having any tissue or fat to work with and the skin will be stretched enough as it is. But just as I was about to go into theatre and was an emotional wreck, he said "and just so you know there will be a gap between your breasts because of where your nipples sit", then I was whisked away under anaesthetic. Months after the healing went down I noticed my right boob would be completely flattened when I layer down and half hang into my armpit. I thought I was being paranoid but knew something wasn't right as my left one sat perfect, the right one you can stick your finger into the pocket and in photos it looks like it's being pulled downwards if I am not in the right bikini. The whole point of getting implants was so I didn't have to wear 'chicken fillets' and boosters anymore, but I have still continued to buy these to ensure they are pulled together nicely for photoshoots. Just after 1 year I raised my concerns with Dr Chan and had another consultation, he brought up my 3 week post op photos and said "oh yes you can see here that the right breast had already began to drag to the side". Ok, so why hadn't he picked this up in my 3 week check up because it then could have been fixed under the warrantee but because it had passed 1 year i'd still have to pay a minimum $3000 to have this fixed. I was just angry now because I wasted 15k on something I was not happy with and could have been prevented if the pocket was stitched properly. I didn't want to give him any more of my money. When I was 11 my mum had hers done by Dr Chan so that's why I went to him, obviously since then things are more advanced and the silicone had deflated so it was time for her to get new ones which she did in 2013. Mum is very tall, board shoulders and could go way bigger than what she had previously but Dr Chan only wanted to offer her 2 options. She asked to see more but he insisted the sizes on offer and so in her surgeon she trusted. Months past and they're the same damn size that she very first had, after many 'discussions' back and forth he admitted he should have shown her more options, that she could have gone bigger and they were the same size as previous. He agreed to do surgery AGAIN which she had at the start of this year I think, she still had to pay but i'm not 100% sure on the agreement or if I should be discussing the details of it. So as it's my 4 year anniversary I decided NEW BOOBS AND A HOLIDAY!!! I wasn't originally booked to go with the September group to Phuket as I am flying solo with my partner, but they have said I can be a part of it as it'll be easier. I'm really excited about it and would love to know which group I can discuss our Sept trip in. I haven't decided on what size to go, don't want to be enormous but I've seen amazing work by Dr Jib and Dr Piyapas who i'm also undecided on. Would love to see any before and after pics if you don't mind sharing. Am happy to answer any questions anyone may have also Sorry it's such a long story but I like to give as much information as possible. xx

    Just want to say Hi!

Hi ladies. I have been addicted to this forum for the past month, reading all your experiences and new boob excitement! I'm a 32 year old Mum of 3, 7yrs, 2yrs and 10mths. I'm just in the midst of weaning my 10mth old off breast feeding but feeling rather devastated about it! I'm not ready but she is getting too big and too hungry and is getting frustrated at the lack of milk so she is biting!! OUCH. I'm lucky to fill a B cup so no wonder she's frustrated. I've read I have to wait 3 months before I can have a consult so now I'm just counting down. Absolutely no idea who to see, I am in Melbourne and have written down all the recommended surgeons I've read about on here but to narrow it down for consults will be difficult. I'm looking forward to sharing my story with you all. It's nice to have a community of like minded ladies to share this with. Hope you are all doing well, pre or post surgery. Xo

Day 1 22 July 2014 @ 7:45am appointment for surgery at kingsgrove day hospital. Luckily I was the first patient. Gave the hospital my forms and signed my life away. They took me into the locker room and gave me a locker and hospital clothes to wear. Unfortunately I had my periods (3rd day) thankfully it wasn't a heavy flow and I was allowed to wear my own undies (must be cotton) and my own pads. Once dressed, I walked into the cozy waiting room and sat with the nurse (Victoria) and she went through my forms with me and taught me to use my abs when I get up or sit down to prevent using my pecks. After that I sat in the recliner reading my book until the anasthetiesist came over and asked me a few questions and went over the anesthetics he would administer then 5 mins later another nurse came in to chat to me about the procedure and then another nurse lol so many little conversations in a short space of time. The last nurse was good cause she asked if I have neck pain or any pain prior to procedure so she can make sure that area is looked after during procedure and amazingly I woke up without further neck issues. Surgeon came in and then drew all over me teasing me bout having a camera crew at the operating room cause he knows I'm shy and private. He already made the decision for with the Implant size also as the last time I saw him I was a mess over the size. Operating room at 9am I walked into operating room, suregeon was sitting near the door way waiting for me to be preped up. It all happened at once. Once I got on the bed, anasthetiesist was working on my left arm, another nurse was doing something with my right another was all over my back and neck with stickers for my heart monitor and someone else was wrapping stuff on my legs and they were all talking to me at once didn't really have time to know what was going on cause they were all doing things at the same time. Before I knew it I crashed out. Not sure if they were all working at the same time to make up for time cause my surgeon was running late but was good because I didn't have time to get anxious or think bout anything. I don't usually cope well with anasthetics, when I woke up my body went into shock mode and I was shaking like a my body was an earthquake for a full 15mins or so and the nurses gave me drugs three times no idea what it was all I heard was try to relax but I couldn't control my body. Once the shaking stopped I went to the waiting room they gave me cookies and coffee, first thing I wanted was the coffee! With the help of my nurse I got into my buttoned shirt and trackies lol she made me laugh cause was actually admiring my outfit! I honestly didn't think I'd be able to zip up my jacket but luckily it zipped n was comfy. Nurse gave me a final chat regarding meds etc an I was taken home. Spent that day in bed with DVDs but throughout the day I was zoning in and out. I felt normal didn't really feel heavy or tightening in my chest like other girls, Continued endone every 4 hours. I am officially a proud owner of 560cc implants and can't wait for the D&F to happen ( already amazed at the cleavage from what I can see). Didn't have the guts to open the bra and see them naked just yet. Pain level: 6/10 Day 2 Started my antibiotics as was suggested by surgeon. Needed help to get out of bed, getting in and out of bed is a major effort. Noticed my upper back pain - was caning turns out the pain was from the uncomfy bed during the procedure and the position of my arms. There was lots of on and off waking up due to endone I was making sure I take them every 4 hours. I had a guest come over that day and spent most of the day at the lounge and walking around and lifting my arms. Received a follow up call from the nurse at the hospital which was nice and asked her several qs. Was told I am allowed to shower that afternoon and I can wipe pen marks off my body with nail polish remover I felt like superwoman that day! And boy did I pay for it the next day I continued my endone. Pain level: 5.5/10 Day 3 Still on endone pain is through the roof and when I move around a lot I get puffed out and tired, the anesthetics must have warn off I feel like I may have over did it yesterday with my movements. Spent the whole day in bed or sitting on my chair feeln major pain and miserable. The pain is coming from the base of my boobs and my upper back. Sitting down with nothing pressing against my back felt good. Had a look at my boobs they look triangular from the nipples and rectangular from the top. Feeln depressed bout it but I know they won't stay that shape forever so trying to stay positive despite the frankenboob look. Called the hospital to make sure I didn't do damage for the day before they told me to check if there is any blood coming out from the bandages or oozing (thankfully Bandages are clean). Despite being on endone my pain was 10/10. Tried not to move around much today and opened my bra while I was in bed for 15 mins to give the girls a break found that I was majorly bruised under left boob so added cotton balls between boob and bra to give myself some comfort and padding relief. Day 4 Still on endone every 5 hours now. I have what the girls call morning boob, need assistance to sit up in bed only in the morning. I'm able to walk around today with ease I noticed I'm a little hunched over but in time I'm sure I'll be walking around straighter. My boobs feel better today but the base hurts if I move too much past the boundaries of my limitations. When I laugh I can feel a twinge of pain and the stitch stretch a little. I'm not feeling as tired today or drowsy. I don't feel heavy but I feel my chest is a tad bit tight today but not an uncomfy feeling. However I preferred sitting on my chair than in bed today. My back feels much better today also. Still haven't left the house yet. Just been walking around my home and had another visitor today to keep me company in the first half of the morning. Boobs are still rectangular looking from top cleavage and triangular looking from nipples. They look ugly naked but normal in a bra. I'm waiting impatiently for them to hurry up and D&F! Thankfully the girls on the forum have been putting my mind at ease regarding how they look now and how they will look after 10 days! Morning pain level was 10/10 Day pain level drops to 6/10 Day 5 Final day of endone course still don't feel the weight of my boobs or tightness. Have been constipated since day 2 thanx to endone despite eating fruits and drinking prune juice. Upper back still sore but not as bad as first three days. My left boob is still very sore from underneath and when I make certain moves or quick jerky move I feel the incision area pull and tighten (I'm a little worried bout it but apparently it's normal and part of heeling process). Feeling restless being cooped up at home. Spent day 4 watching more DVDs and thankfully had another guest over for a few hrs to keep me occupied. Today started hearing wierd sounds like popping and swishing (best two words I can think of to describe it) must be the implants moving when I move. I'm now able to get out of bed without much help but get the stinging pain still because all muscles are stiff from sleeping so it's always hard to get out the first time. I am still sleeping upright with a fortress of pillows behind me, I am missing sleeping flat now. Since it is winter I can't thank my electric blanket enough it has been a god send! In terms of my pain level it is very manageable minus the sharp sting I get under my left boob when I laugh or make a sudden move. Pain level 5/10 Day 6 No more endone don't know if I should be happy or sad! I was finally able to go to the loo and relieve myself! What a feeling!!! Still hurt getting outa bed for the first time and especially sibpnce no more endone. I feel super tight and a little heavy in the chest area. Endone must have prevented that feeling in the early days. But it's not too uncomfy so that's ok. My boobs still feel like mine even from day 1 despite a foreign object sitting inside. I still hear and feel funny sounds coming from inside my boobs but I don't think anyone else can hear it but me. I have started walking around a lot more, sometimes I feel a lil tired and puffed out. I will be attempting to go for a short stroll outside since the weather is sunny, I'll keep you all posted on that little adventure Pain level 5/10 Day 7 Taking panadene forte morning and night only. Pain isn't too bad, still hurts to get up in the morning but not as bad as first few days. Still swollen on top of boobs, swollen under my arms, swelling cleavage inbetween boobs have god down. Have removed some of my pillows in bed, starting to attempt to sleep a little flatter. Have been able to go for 1/2 hr walks (feel a little tired after) Still experiencing sharp pain under left boob from incision area. Can hear wierd sounds coming from inside my boobs sometimes when I move. Able to move my arms around without too much pain. Still not regular with the bathroom despite the prune juice and eating lots of fruit - still heavily bloated in the tummy region. Have a tightness feeling in the boob area but that's expected and it's not uncomfy. The odd shape is starting to round out, actually started to love my boobs again. Pain level 5/10

    Having major boob greed

Hi Ladies, How did you all get over your boob greed? I am not even 2 weeks in from my lift and implants (textured round 365cc) and I already want bigger. When I am wearing clothes you can't even tell I have had them done but they do look amazing braless as they are not down by my knees anymore. I guess I really just wanted people to notice and say wow your boobs are huge ha ha.

Best snacks to keep you going.

This is so boring but I always keep apples on my desk. Pink ladies hit the spot. Have you tried the T2 peppermint tea? It may convert you! I also keep the sirena tuna range handy- although if you're eating tuna for lunch I'm guessing you want some variety! The woolworths range of soups are incredibly tasty and low fat too. Also a lot of people at my work have dropped massive amounts of weight following the Dukan diet.

Fast forward to today & I am booked in for my surgery on the 22nd October this year- say whaaaat I am so excited, nervous & still in a bit of shock! PIAC Questions - Timing and Payment

Thanks Gabby I ended up researching the Velocity Global Wallet card and decided to use it. I am a Velocity Frequent Flyer member (Virgin Airlines) and last year they updated their cards so they double as a travel card. It is a prepaid visa that you transfer funds onto through Bpay. There's no loading fee or conversion fee. You put the money onto it and then choose the currency you want. You can have up to 4 currencies on the card at one time. As long as you pay in the currency you have the money on the card in, you don't get charged any foreign currency conversion fees. I checked with PIAC and they said they can accept the card so I transferred the cash on there yesterday. I got a better exchange rate than what I would have by doing the bank transfer too - It saved me about $200. Plus whatever fees I would have been charged on my credit card if I'd gone with that option. Thanks for your help everyone.

I agree with Rubie, 28 degrees card is great, you can also load your own money onto it as well. We used it last time we were in Thailand in March so l will be using it again to pay for my surgery in December. Good luck with your upcoming surgery Lolos!

    Post surgery recovery advice please!

Oh goodness did she not get post surgery advice? Qtips dipped in a chlorhex wash or saline solution should be used in the nostril daily to keep the crust clear. You only want to be inserting at the entry don't go digging for gold. If you let the secretions and blood dry up she will really struggle when it's time to removed sutures. Definitely get onto that now

    Post surgery recovery advice please!

Can you get your hand on some Arnica supplements? Arnica great for reducing bruising and swelling. Also zinc and Vitamin C are great for healing. I'm not sure about inside her mouth but on the outside of her face, she should be applying icepacks and often as she can and staying as upright as possible to let any fluid and blood drain away better. Not sure what else you can do. Hopefully someone else on here can come up with some other suggestions too. Hope she is feeling much better soon.

    Revision to go bigger?

Hi mumxofx3 - there have been quite a number of ladies on here who have had revision to go bigger. I know Donatella had revision to go bigger but she had a rupture and capsular contracture so probably had more work done then simply going bigger. Sorry to hear that you are not happy with the size that you ended up, I think alot of us tend to err on the side of caution when choosing our size and hence the boob greed kicks in. But on the other side, maybe if you had of gone 500cc to begin with you may have felt they were too big because they were such an increase from what you had. Its a tricky thing getting the size right but at the end of the day, if you are unhappy about it you can always have more surgery to change them. Also, im pretty sure the TCI do revision for size increase but im not sure on how much they charge. Best shoot them an email and ask as im sure they have had plenty of customers wanting to go bigger. All the best and keep us updated with how you go

    Accommodation in Phuket

I had some time to kill whilst my partner was at the dentist so checked out the new Grand Mercure (only a few months old I believe) in Patong, as we would have stayed there if not for a friend giving us a scoopon voucher for Novotel Kamala. I absolutely loved the Grand Mercure, especially the rooms with a private pool right off the lounge room (and the bar with about 100 different craft beers!). Another option to consider and we will be staying there next time we come to Phuket.

Can't believe the woman told you a TT is cheating- big pffffft to that one! Nothing but surgery can fix loose, wobbly skin or the accursed stretch marks. I had a one of my high school students who had a sister in the primary school tell me about all the mums at the primary school and how they'd ALL had botox and were into anything that helped them maintain the "yummy mummy" image. I've come to realise as I get older that everyone who can afford it "cheats". It's just that not everybody let's on about it. As for the woman who gets run down- she should take it as a compliment. If someone is jealous of you it means you have something that they want!

I've had the same thing lady, a girl at work was all 'I could tell from a mile away, your boobs walked into the room before you did!' I nearly died. But the last two weekends I've gone bugger it and worn very booby tops, i was so scared!! And now I'm addicted to them haha once you get over that initial fear of people finding out it doesn't matter. Paranoia and YES people can tell

I have to agree with the other girls. It's nice to be able to keep it a secret and only have people know if you tell them but then, no point getting them if they're unnoticeable! I chose to tell a friend yesterday and she had already guessed but didn't want to say anything. Here I am hinting no one had noticed! I think some people notice but are not game to say anything, some are. Enjoy those new boobies and having people notice them, that's what makes it all worthwhile!

Oh my god! I think your friend is jealous... In the past few weeks, I have found out who my 'true' friends are Despite me planning my surgery for 2 years I have had different reactions from different ppl but one in particular completely tore into me regarding my choices and everything about me really... I know I am a good person and I treat others the way I want to be treated so I have come to the conclusion that it must be jealousy as there is no other reason for this kind of behaviour from others... I bet you look gorgeous and you feel good about yourself so don't let anyone take that from you, or make you feel anything other than beautiful!

I don't blame you. It must have felt completely surreal. Sorry if it seemed like I was being "judgey" of you for sharing the story, it's more being stunned this kind of cowboy operation is going on. I'm amazed he's allowed to operate- in all senses of the word. If something goes wrong with the surgery or the implants, what are his patients meant to do if there's no paper trail- or insurance coverage- to prove they had them? My understanding was typically people who've had a GA are kept in for a few hours observation at least to ensure there are no complications. I must have a conservative surgeon. I was told I had to stay overnight- I would've enjoyed saving the two and a bit grand and just gone home tbh!

I would not hesitate in reposting him ASAP. It up to you but I would be ringing (1300 419 495 - AHPRA) and letting them know. People like him need to have their licences taken away. He obviously has no problem with putting peoples lives at risk. He shouldn't be allowed to practise at all!

    Body lift questions

Hi Neesa 1977, Thanks so much for your reply, you've answered all my questions which is great. My fears have been calmed. I've just realised your stats (weight etc) are similar to mine pre surgery. Great job I just found your earlier post and pics. Your wound looks really good, It's quite impressive actually. Your surgeon has great hands, very neat indeed. So glad your doing so well. Lets hope I do as well as you

    Just want to say Hi!

Welcome! Good luck on your journey. I weaned my 3rd child at 18 months and still felt sad about it. I was told 3-6 months from finishing feeding to surgery - I reckon you could have a consult by the 3 month mark okay if your milk drops efficiently.

    Just want to say Hi!

Hi! How exciting! 3 months will go so quickly. I live in Brisbane so can't help with surgeons but just wanted to say hi and welcome to the forum. There is so much info and knowledge here from all the wonderful girls that I'm sure you'll be able to pick a great surgeon and go in armed with heaps of knowledge and confidence for your BA. P.S. I know how sad it is to have to stop BF'ing when you're not ready. My third weaned herself at 9.5 months and I wasn't ready. Just think though, you can now get your BA done sooner. Yay!
