    Going Out

Sorry this isn't the answer u were looking for but if the instructions is 4 weeks then u should follow it. U didn't spend all that money to put uR boobs in jeopardy for just a one night out. Check with uR surgeon or nurse if uR allowed to wear a crop top for a few hours Instead of po bra. Plus it's winter I'm sure u can find lots of cleavage plunging winter dresses or tops without showing to much of uR bra

I would follow your surgeons instructions too, but then I'm very much not a rule breaker, I even struggle with jaywalking!

Hi Sassy007, l booked directly with PIAC and have found them to be great. I was originally thinking of going with Somnio but l have found the process so easy that l have done it myself. I think it helps that you can ask questions on here and PIAC staff are more then happy to answer questions promptly. I think the only benefit to travelling with an agent is if you were travelling alone. Good luck!

Sorry ladies I have changed my name...paranoia has set in after. Friend today walked out to me and even tho didn t know about my surgery said..HI ..oh I love your new boobs! I am rarely speechless but I was then, I just Replied oh thank you and we smiled, she is a good friend and one that's just Tells you as it is always..that is what I love about her..I was even wearing my usual baggy clothes! Another common friend came up to me an hour after and told me she had just heard and asked me about it..I said oh I don t mind you knowing but it has to be my choice if I want to tell..she said you can tell from afar honey.. You were flat as an ironing board before! Lol I must have really been stupid thinking that I could keep it hidden! Secret out now. The whole of Brisbane will know by tonight. But that has set off total paranoia of being on here and so on...so there...new name for me!

Paranoia and YES people can tell

No!! I agree with Lin, stick with the D at least! They definitely don't feel as big as they measure. My E cup feels and looks more D, maybe small DD to me. I hate when people gossip about these things! It's your happy news to share, why do other's have to beat you to it?! Though they are spectacular so there's a good chance they just noticed their radiating awesomeness.

Hi Sassy007, I am having my BA next month with Dr Rushapol and booked directly with PIAC. My dad and his partner booked directly when they had their procedures also and had no problems. Dr Rushapol is very good at what he does. :-)

PIAC Questions - Timing and Payment

Hi Lolos. I had my consult at 8.30am and was on my bed waiting to be wheeled to surgery at 10.30. As soon as I finished consult, I paid, then was taken to blood test, xray and then room, with no time to spare, which was great. I actually had to ask to be able to fit in a toilet stop before surgery as it all went so quick lol! I researched in depth the best way to pay. The Bank Transfer from Oz is the most expensive. Have a look at the PIAC payment forum on here. PIAC use the Westpac exchange rate (most expensive) even though they don't use a Westpac account. Many people pay by cash or credit card. Remember that if u use your standard credit card, you will be charged a fee of 2 - 3% currency conversion by your bank, which could end up being a couple of hundred dollars. I got a 28degrees credit card which has 0 fees and 0 exchange rate fees. The exchange rate they use is the standard Mastercard Exchange Rate. You can check this online each day to see how much it would cost. Put THB (surgery quote) as the currency, then work out the conversion for AUD from the figure listed. Also get them to put the payment through in Thai Baht (THB) instead of AUD to save another exchange fee. The exchange rate on the street at the moment is in the 29.05 - 29.90 range, which is the best it has been in years. I worked it out that it was cheaper/easier to pay the whole amount on 28degree c/card, as you have c/c protection and don't have to worry about carrying the cash. Just remember to tell your bank ahead of time that you will be making a large transaction overseas on the day of your surgery. I don't work for any bank, but I know I hate wasting money on fees/exchanges rates when I could be spending that on something more worthwhile :-)

    Just want to say Hi!

Hi ladies. I have been addicted to this forum for the past month, reading all your experiences and new boob excitement! I'm a 32 year old Mum of 3, 7yrs, 2yrs and 10mths. I'm just in the midst of weaning my 10mth old off breast feeding but feeling rather devastated about it! I'm not ready but she is getting too big and too hungry and is getting frustrated at the lack of milk so she is biting!! OUCH. I'm lucky to fill a B cup so no wonder she's frustrated. I've read I have to wait 3 months before I can have a consult so now I'm just counting down. Absolutely no idea who to see, I am in Melbourne and have written down all the recommended surgeons I've read about on here but to narrow it down for consults will be difficult. I'm looking forward to sharing my story with you all. It's nice to have a community of like minded ladies to share this with. Hope you are all doing well, pre or post surgery. Xo

    Having major boob greed

Hi Ladies, How did you all get over your boob greed? I am not even 2 weeks in from my lift and implants (textured round 365cc) and I already want bigger. When I am wearing clothes you can't even tell I have had them done but they do look amazing braless as they are not down by my knees anymore. I guess I really just wanted people to notice and say wow your boobs are huge ha ha.

Best snacks to keep you going.

Chia pudding (chia seeds, almond milk, topping cashew spread), almonds & nuts, dates for sugar graving, home made protein balls are my fav daily snacks between the meals.

Thankyou all for the advice, think I'm just going to book direct in this case as not travelling alone & PIAC have been so easy to deal with I cant see why I would need a "middle man"... Still undecided what to do about surgeon but seems like you cant go wrong either way!

Best snacks to keep you going.

This is so boring but I always keep apples on my desk. Pink ladies hit the spot. Have you tried the T2 peppermint tea? It may convert you! I also keep the sirena tuna range handy- although if you're eating tuna for lunch I'm guessing you want some variety! The woolworths range of soups are incredibly tasty and low fat too. Also a lot of people at my work have dropped massive amounts of weight following the Dukan diet.

Thermomix has a great recipe for protein balls. They are made from raw cacoa. There are a few diff recipes for them. They are low fat high protein and fibre and great for a snack to get u through as they are filling. Might be perfect for ur sweet tooth. U don't need a thermy to make them. I just use a food processor as I don't have a thermy either. If you go to the thermomix community website you can search for the recipes in there. Hope this helps hun.

I can definitely recommend Dr Narupon. I had an agent Charlie from Lotus. So glad I did. There was no problem it was just support and piece of mind. He called me, visited me numerous times in hospital and waited with me before all consultations. Oh yeah I was given a mobile with his contact and hospital contacts. Knowing I had a Thai resident ( however he's Irish lol) who spoke the language was comforting and I didn't travel alone ( had mum and daughters) and it wasn't my first trip to Phuket. If I went back for another procedure I would most likely use Lotus again!

    Going Out

I'm thinking back to the studies they did on young children. They placed a lolly in front of them to test their self control. If they waited, they got 2 lollies, if they chose to eat that lolly then that's all they got. Studies show the kids who had the restraint to wait and attain more lollies actually went on to be more successful in adulthood than those who didn't wait. Is one night of showing them off worth the risk of complications and more $$$ having to be spent? Ignoring your surgeon's advice is totally up to you but so are the consequences. They'll be plenty of time for the "unveiling" at a later date.

    UFC FIT or TapOut XT

Oh my. After reading this thread I tried insanity yesterday.. I have never felt so unfit haha. I had to stop for water breaks after/during most exercises, I swear I only did 15 minutes out of 30 and I can barely walk today haha wow! Im going to keep pushing with this one. Im aiming to be able to complete the dvd (and still be able to walk) by the end of next month.

    Holy Moly Guacamole!

Sooooo, 24 hours ago I was planning on waiting until April 2015 to have my BA. I had my consult with Dr Dona a week ago & was excited to go ahead with him, but was going to wait until the end of the year to book my surgery.. Fast forward to today & I am booked in for my surgery on the 22nd October this year- say whaaaat I am so excited, nervous & still in a bit of shock! Dr Dona suggested 310-330CC round moderates & I am really interested to see others who have had similar implants!

PIAC Questions - Timing and Payment

Thanks Gabby I ended up researching the Velocity Global Wallet card and decided to use it. I am a Velocity Frequent Flyer member (Virgin Airlines) and last year they updated their cards so they double as a travel card. It is a prepaid visa that you transfer funds onto through Bpay. There's no loading fee or conversion fee. You put the money onto it and then choose the currency you want. You can have up to 4 currencies on the card at one time. As long as you pay in the currency you have the money on the card in, you don't get charged any foreign currency conversion fees. I checked with PIAC and they said they can accept the card so I transferred the cash on there yesterday. I got a better exchange rate than what I would have by doing the bank transfer too - It saved me about $200. Plus whatever fees I would have been charged on my credit card if I'd gone with that option. Thanks for your help everyone.

I think they are probably jealous. I can say l used to bag people with fake breasts (not people l knew) my husband reminded me about it the other day. I feel bad about it now and know that l envied people with such great boobs and hid it by bagging them when l was probably just jealous of their great assets. Now that l am going through it myself l know l will be judged, but l will also understand because l have been on the judging side if that makes sense. Your friends should not make you feel like s**& they should support you no matter what. x
  24. 1 point
Toatally agree with you Juniper. Jealousy is an ugly ugly thing isn't it. I tell friend who had work done im jealous but I never meant it in a bad way I was so happy for them and wished I could have it done too, never would I dream of putting them down for it. Personally I don't understand why ppl like this do it cant they just be happy for others? ***** when I found out a mum I didn't even really know at school was having her tummy done ( was said in a small group in general chat) I was thrilled for her and ended up going straight over to her house to help her clean and organise her house ready for the op ( most ppl down there know im OCD haha and I couldn't stand that she only had a week till her op and hadn't done a single thing lol) I had an absolute field day there lol but I loved that she felt good that her house was ready for her to come home to and recover in peace after her op, I think that when someone has something good come their way we should support and be happy for others ESPECIALLY if its something we wish we could have ourselves. I believe in karma and it always comes around. Maybe that's why girls like all of us on this forum are on our journey to change things we aren't happy with and these jealous nasty pieces of work are still sitting there bitching about everyone lol

    Post surgery recovery advice please!

Oh goodness did she not get post surgery advice? Qtips dipped in a chlorhex wash or saline solution should be used in the nostril daily to keep the crust clear. You only want to be inserting at the entry don't go digging for gold. If you let the secretions and blood dry up she will really struggle when it's time to removed sutures. Definitely get onto that now

    Post surgery recovery advice please!

Can you get your hand on some Arnica supplements? Arnica great for reducing bruising and swelling. Also zinc and Vitamin C are great for healing. I'm not sure about inside her mouth but on the outside of her face, she should be applying icepacks and often as she can and staying as upright as possible to let any fluid and blood drain away better. Not sure what else you can do. Hopefully someone else on here can come up with some other suggestions too. Hope she is feeling much better soon.

    Accommodation in Phuket

I had some time to kill whilst my partner was at the dentist so checked out the new Grand Mercure (only a few months old I believe) in Patong, as we would have stayed there if not for a friend giving us a scoopon voucher for Novotel Kamala. I absolutely loved the Grand Mercure, especially the rooms with a private pool right off the lounge room (and the bar with about 100 different craft beers!). Another option to consider and we will be staying there next time we come to Phuket.

Paranoia and YES people can tell

I've had the same thing lady, a girl at work was all 'I could tell from a mile away, your boobs walked into the room before you did!' I nearly died. But the last two weekends I've gone bugger it and worn very booby tops, i was so scared!! And now I'm addicted to them haha once you get over that initial fear of people finding out it doesn't matter. They're gunna know eventually and I figure we've got cracking boobs now, get those bad boys OUT!!!

Paranoia and YES people can tell

I have to agree with the other girls. It's nice to be able to keep it a secret and only have people know if you tell them but then, no point getting them if they're unnoticeable! I chose to tell a friend yesterday and she had already guessed but didn't want to say anything. Here I am hinting no one had noticed! I think some people notice but are not game to say anything, some are. Enjoy those new boobies and having people notice them, that's what makes it all worthwhile!

I have been told to massage and I have textured implants. I have to kinda prod my boobs three times a day for 5 minutes. Do more if I can. I think the nurse said it was to help them soften up and they have done loads since the first 2 weeks. I am 3.5 weeks now

Don't be afraid to leap and move like a spaz in the change room to really try 'em out. Just pick the "big" change room! I was watching for bounce in the mirror- yes it's weird but it works!

I don't blame you. It must have felt completely surreal. Sorry if it seemed like I was being "judgey" of you for sharing the story, it's more being stunned this kind of cowboy operation is going on. I'm amazed he's allowed to operate- in all senses of the word. If something goes wrong with the surgery or the implants, what are his patients meant to do if there's no paper trail- or insurance coverage- to prove they had them? My understanding was typically people who've had a GA are kept in for a few hours observation at least to ensure there are no complications. I must have a conservative surgeon. I was told I had to stay overnight- I would've enjoyed saving the two and a bit grand and just gone home tbh!

    August Boobies 2014!

Hi Ladies Just so excited I have to share. Just came back from seeing Pr Mark Ashton as I still had to choose my implant size for my BL/BA on the 19th. So happy I had this appt bc I was feeling really unsure & this appt was all about choosing my implants & I wasn't as overwhelmed like in my other appts as there wasn't so much info to take in. I also got to try his new machine he just got a week ago which takes a pic of your breasts & then he showed me what my boobs will look like with a lift & implants. It was so cool to get an idea how they might look. So finally.. I am getting a lollipop lift with Allergan Soft Gel implants, moderate profile with 310cc - dual plane. I also sent Karen the pictures to put in my profile for Mark on surgery date. I have attached a pic of how I want my boobies to look! Feel so relieved now.

Don't worry ladies, I have no intention of going with them. It just made me feel even more confident in the first one I met and have now booked with him. I was just really shocked and wondering if this was common practise.

Sounds dodgy as feck. Totally illegal- not to mention unethical. Is this a well known surgeon or someone you plucked out at random? Pretty sure they'd be deregistered- & charged- for engaging in fraudulent behavior. I'd be tempted to report them.

Hi there! Welcome and congrats! That's an awesome effort, three kids and bf! I have two; my first is 2 and my baby is 6 months. I stopped bf at six weeks and also had significant weight loss before I had kids so having my ba after my boys was always on the cards. I'm booked in in six weeks in melbourne! I'm so excited! I am having a lift and augment with dr Sophie ricketts; she was recommended to me from someone in the industry and she's fantastic, kind and not driven by the boob industry!

Hi! How exciting! 3 months will go so quickly. I live in Brisbane so can't help with surgeons but just wanted to say hi and welcome to the forum. There is so much info and knowledge here from all the wonderful girls that I'm sure you'll be able to pick a great surgeon and go in armed with heaps of knowledge and confidence for your BA. P.S. I know how sad it is to have to stop BF'ing when you're not ready. My third weaned herself at 9.5 months and I wasn't ready. Just think though, you can now get your BA done sooner. Yay!
