So happy (no more boobie greed) :) :)

So today I had a my 2 week post op with Dr Tavakoli and he was so lovely we spoke about me being so emotional it turns out the drugs have really affected me and sent me a little loopy and the fact I'm so not used to being cooped up inside not being able to gym, work ect and having to wear the stabiliser 24/7 really got me down, we spoke about the size of my implant and let's just say I knew I was doing the right thing leaving my trust in him on the day of my surgery for him to decide which implant to give me even if I wanted the bigger one he totally made the right decision giving me the smaller one:) after my appointment I was off to the shops to get a cleavage bra he wants me to wear, so went to MYER to get professionally fitted measuring a 12E Wow I'm wearing 12 DD for extra support worried about nothing lol Thanks to everyone for their kind words while I was being a crazy lady Will post some more pics soon these boobs sure have grown/filled out a lot very very happy with them Thanks guys happy boobs ...! (feels so much better now with some support around these boobs)

    consult outcome

Had my pre op consult Wednesday and I'm am getting 375cc xhp furries Dr wasn't sure if I wanted the extra 1cm projection I would add to my current size so tried to see if 380cc hp would fit but as they are .5 cm wider he said it would be too tight and would get rippling etc. 375cc are same width I have now in my 340cc nature lies just 1cm more projection Hoping they will look OK as don't really have any other options due to my stupid tiny breast width went over concerns with him about my CC and asymmetry and he promised they be even lol and I didn't have enough difference in size to get different volumns So yeah I just have to trust him and hope for the best. 10 days

The fact that they can cause incontinence is enough to put me off using one! I wouldn't use one at all let alone post surgery.

I have no problems with it. If you don't want people to comment on your photos, set them to private. It's a plastic surgery forum, not a breast augmentation forum.

    4 week update and pics

Hey guys. Well this has been the longest and fastest month of my life if you know what I mean. I had no idea the recovery this would take. Sure you read about it and think oh yeah 4 weeks is nothing. Intense pain for the first....ok I got this. It's so much different when your in it and counting down the hours/days till you feel better. There are so any milestones along the way though. I turned a huge corner at day 10, a bigger one at 3 weeks and now at 4 I feel maybe 80% back to pre op. I'm still not at work but that's only because my job doesn't start for another month or more. The pain has mostly gone id say it's more of a discomfort at times when I've been out all day and sweeling takes over. I get muscle pinches that hurt and a stinging sensation all over my stomach that drives me crazy but it's not too bad. I am worried about my belly button. It seems to be sticking out more and more. I'm not sure if it's the swelling causing it coz it didn't look too bad to start with but now it looks like it may pop out all together

    I can't find a good strapless bra

You could try Intimo - it's a party plan brand. I have bought one but I haven't tried it yet it's too early for me.

    June Boobies 2014!

Hi June girls just popped in to see how everyone is going! I've updated my profile pic with a shot of my girls now they've settled. I'm SO much happier with them now than after the last reconstruction. Hamish increased them slightly and initially I was disappointed because they were smaller than I wanted, but now they've settled I can see they're perfect for me. They're plump and round and even, and so perky and bouncy! I constantly catch my husband checking them out, he loves them! Very happy, although I notice a LOT sorer around my period.

I have my consultation on Wednesday and I'm most likely going to book in for the first week of November. Looking at a tummy tuck with muscle repair, breast reduction and some lipo. Very nervous about the pain and recovery with a 20 month old but I have 8 weeks off work (lucky coincidence) and my parents will help out. I'll be going with dr moore

Dr Steve Merten vs Dr Steven Liew

I had surgery with Dr Steven Liew yesterday and I can't fault him. Very kind, informative, professional and made me feel confident at every step. His staff are fantastic too. I went in for post op check up today and I had a turn in reception with my BP dropping quickly. The staff are nurses so they helped me, got me some medication quickly and were really great. They also have good follow up with red light therapy to help with bruising etc and laser for scaring. I feel dr L was worth the extra $ as his work is very good and he really understood what I want. Good luck!

Naw Whitey! I love the idea of having a man comment, not for any sexually perverted reason...no just because it tells me that a man appreciates my work and this is a confidence boost. I think it's great to see guys getting on the forums and having an input. It makes surgery less of a gender orientated circumstance and as long as they aren't saying WOW LOOK AT THOSE KNOCKERS! i have no problems. I hope peoples bs didnt get you too down mate, and your work so far look phenomenal too btw

    June Boobies 2014!

Got to go bikini shopping this morning- yay!! I was surprised how many tops actually fit! I got a top and some black bottoms but wanted to share this bikini top that looked very boobalicious! http://www.surfstitch.com/product/jets-elaborate-d-dd-v-wire-separate-top-daydreams?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&utm_campaign=jets-womens-swimwear&CAWELAID=620012680001548433&gclid=CMi8qu6oycACFciCvQodULsAaQ I'm going to try and go back to buy it tomorrow- hoped I could find it cheaper online but it's too new. Will put up pics of the one I picked, tried to go a bit conservative with our family holidays in mind.

    Facelift

Just in answer to Jackie321, 55 is definitley not too old to have a facelift or any other surgery! I'm 60 & having a mac facelift, browlift & necklift next month, & considering a breast lift! If you are healthy there is definitley no reason why you shouldn't have any type of surgery. There is always a risk with ANY surgery no matter what the age. Consult your dr & always tell him/her if you are on any medication.

I've been immunized against hepatitis for years but definitely a good idea, as is typhoid and making sure your MMR and tetanus courses are up to date. Try and start them 6-8 weeks before travel as they can make you feel a but lousy.

I felt exactly the same way as you when I first got mine done. I also got 330s and was really disappointed at the size. 1 week post op I was still fitting into my old bras ( just a little better than before). 6 weeks post op I was a DD and now 4 months post op I'm busting out of them. You will Change so much over the next few months. It really is way to early to tell what there going to end up like.

Boob greed :( so sad :(

Hi Ladies I had mine done just over a week ago and I only got 340cc but I can tell it"s way too early to know what there going to look like as they are still tight, firm, swollen and in parts numb I'm assuming this all a part if the healing process. But I think there going to look good once they settle. So I know how you feel just give it time. I have sent Indi and Juniper a FR.

Boob greed :( so sad :(

I think you're judging them too early hun. They have months and months to progress. Have you taken some photos so you can see them side by side against your last week ones? I haven't had anyone notice my BA either but then I haven't flashed them. I think they just need some time.
  43. 1 point
I leave this time in a week and I am already packed! I have an adaptor that can have 4 usb cords inserted so I can charge my phone, camera, ipad etc all at once! I have packed some protein bars as I am pretty fussy when it comes to snacks and have also packed laxatives to help with bloating. I have packed lots of button up tops, baggy singlets and dresses and thongs/sandals. Apart from the surgery specific items eg compression bras and a folder full of questions and photos I have just packed general overseas holiday stuff! All the best for your procedure and the trip

    Men on the forum

I have no problem with men being on the forum at all. I think it's often harder for men, as for women it is more socially acceptable to talk about appearance, surgery etc, so I think having a forum to discuss such things is invaluable to all.

You seem like a respectful and caring guy and I'm sorry for you that someone got upset. This is the internet so I feel if anyone posts something they should expect public comment. Don't stop posting. Your comments and insights are valuable and comforting to many I think

Don, thanks for starting this thread and ladies for your comments and messages, you really made my morning reading them after a pretty ordinary day yesterday, topped off by basically being told I was a creep for commenting on someone's breast photo. I'll be hanging around though because there are some awesome people on here (as witnessed by comments above) and don't feel so bad about someone getting their nose out of joint after your messages of support. I certainly don't come here to get off looking at boob pics and hopefully my contributions are valued and helpful. On reflection, I can see why it might feel weird or creepy for someone who assumes that everyone on here is female to have a male commenting on their breasts, in fact it might seem weird even knowing there are guys on here (my g/f could understand their point in that regard). From now on I'll keep to the forums and leave the "rate my boobs" area alone ;-) Thanks again ladies for your messages of support and for making me feel welcome :-)

    Recommend a surgeon

I'm in Geelong...where are you Christine? A friend of mine saw a surgeon in Hamilton, she is from Werribee. If you don't mind interstate travel, Mark Moore in Adelaide is an excellent surgeon and cheap. TT $3500 and anaes $1000-2000 (depends on anaesthetist and day, my quote was $1000). All up with travel, I was looking at $6000 but I stayed in Geelong for convenience. I paid around $9000 for surgeon, anaesthetist, excess and compression garment.
