They should be able to fix it, it's a simple name change. I would assume they would just charge you for the fix up. It def isn't something you need right now. I too want to know if we can have green tea. I have to stop taking my contraception pill as the type I'm on can cause deep vein thrombosis or something like that. Omg no licorice either. My ps said no arnica as well. I'm allowed to take probiotics and vitamin c in its natural form (not in multi-vitamin) @Ranalicious they look amazing @jess86 good luck for tomorrow @BamBam I so understand how you feel looking down and seeing the depression of our boobs, I so can't wait to see them full and full of life. 2 weeks 2 days. I finish up at work next Wednesday (my mum is over from NZ so taking extra time off before we leave) I so cannot wait. I think I'm a bit more excited about not going to work than the surgery right now.

Good luck for today @MyTurnNow! And for tomorrow @jess86! Hope the nerves settle. Just keep thinking, new gorgeous boobs are coming! (Haha, i'm not sure if that will help but it's worth a shot ) Wooo for drugs at the press of a button @Ranalicious! Glad to hear you are smiling and doing well. Gosh we are powering through October! Sh*ts getting exciting! Yah, definitely no ginger or garlic, gingko, ginseng 2 weeks before (jeez what have they got against the group of G foods?!). Which makes it hard if you get a cold! Gutted no ginger as I have tummy problems and take it to settle it down. So lots of fresh fruit and veg and water. So I looked down at my sad deflated boobs last night after my shower and it just made me even more determined and excited to get this done. Why is it that as soon as we (women) start exercising or losing weight it comes straight off the boobs first?! Like seriously, in two weeks of doing bootcamp I've lost one cup size I reckon?! Fitting back in to my 14A bra! How depressing. Bring on the 26th! Is the name on your flight booking wrong? God, that's the kind of stress you don't need?! When you say agency is that the people you booked surgery through? Maybe try ringing the airline direct?

Dr M 's list of do not haves is huge. Im following everything but the vitamin c and even that im tapering off and hoping to stop 2-3 days out from surgery. However he doesnt have apple cider vinegar on his list which I sometimes use if I get sick. but I think it might be a blood thinner so im staying off it. Its so hard to not take anything though especially when you have kids who bring home bugs from school. 1 week today whoo hoo!

I hate to say it but no green tea either!! Lemon and honey should be ok. What does Lemsip have in it? That's just paracetamol isn't it? My mum used to make me that with lemon and honey and a dash of whiskey. Made me sleep and feel better So the list my surgeon gave me of foods to avoid is: Green tea, garlinc, gingko, ginseng, ginger, feverfew, st johns wort, ephedra, dong quai, licorice, fish oil and glucosamine. I've been told to stop taking all supps and vits which sucks. Other PS might allow some so best to check. I'm hoping like hell I don't catch a cold!! Eugh, that's annoying for you! One little letter and so much stress! Why can't things be more straightforward?! Good on the Ex, top bloke for sorting that out for you.

Could not agree with this more! I did not prepare myself for the rollercoaster of emotions you go through. I believe this was from not only the medication but the state you are in being enabled and immobile for weeks. If you're someone who lives a pretty busy active life, it will be a shock to the system. You can also feel a lot of regret in the first few weeks, just because of the mental state you ar ein and your boobs wont look great for a while! I just recommend you be aware of this and remember why you had surgery and know it will all be worth it soon enough!

This time Thursday I will be getting ready to go! I have butterflies in my tummy and cannot believe it is almost my turn. I will post a before pic tomorrow! It has been so great to see the posts from the girls who have already had their BA's. makes me just that little less nervous.

@bluegumboot I have the bruise sensation underneath at the fold if that makes sense? I've got a BA account on Instagram and one of the other girls said that it can be from not having much existing breast tissue? I'm not 100% sure but I can't wait for it to go away! I haven't really experienced any breast numbness, but I tend to always feel the bruise sensation if that makes sense? I'm slowly getting up and about- had a full day shopping he other day which was lovely- trying on clothes has been so fun! I might have been naughty and got pre-emptively sized- right now I'm sitting at a 12DD so I'm hoping to stay around that or go down to a 12D all depending! I feel like all the moving about lately has left me a bit swollen, but I'm still incredibly in love. I'm definitely missing the pain medication- apparently that was the only reason I was getting any remotely decent sleep. 😂 How's everyone else going? Still riding the bloat train right now, but getting better. I can't wait to get back into a proper walking routine! It's amazing how easily I get exhausted at the moment. I'm only just over a week post op, so I'm sure I'm expecting too much but never the less I'm not used to being so inactive!

@Honeycakes Agreed Dr M is overly cautious for good reasons. Basically don't take anything haha I even asked him about glutamine & bcaa's & he was like mmmm maybe just stop like 2 days before so I did. He's the boss & I trust him 100% so whatever he said goes. Didn't need the arnica... I mean I was a bit swollen but he was so good that I barely had any bruising. Every plastic surgeon has their own rules.

    Over or under the muscle??

I would get another 2 opinions and then decide the consensus, being both completely different opinions I would seek more as it's not just under or over its a lot more complicated like your chest wall shape, tissue, skin thickness, fitness goals, lifestyle and end result.

@Fi.b It was my parents backyard pool so I wasn't too worried. My PS is very conservative & probably does have instructions but I seemed to have picked up a rebellious streak in my recovery process! It's highly ironic as I'm well-known amongst my friends for being 'steady & complying' but I guess we all have secret identities 😜 I have volunteered to help out with my kids school swimming as a parent helper which starts in 2 weeks though 😳 I've helped out every year so it would raise eyebrows to not help out. It will be exactly six weeks & I have a post op appointment at the end of that week so I'll double-check everything then. Might use an antibacterial soap when I shower afterwards just in case though!

@Vaticinal what's your BA account? I'll add you if that's ok? The no walking is driving me batty too. An the bloating ugh! I think I can start light walking from today and actually feel like I could too. Went back to work yesterday aswell and felt ok. Can't believe this time 2 weeks ago I was getting operated on!!! Whats everyone elses surgeon recommended regarding exercise? And what sports bras have you been recommended? I have an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow but from memory I can walk at like 4km pace from this week and then at 3 weeks back to normal pace walking... 5 weeks can be running. 6 weeks back at the gym. I've bought the No Bounce Running Bare crop just waiting for it to arrive in the mail, but with my arm movement I'm pretty sure it won't get on at this stage 😂

@Sophie096 oh hun, I really feel for you. A similar thing happened to me! I was supposed to have surgery on the 27th sept and I came down with Whooping Cough and had to cancel. I never get sick either! I have been rescheduled for this Tuesday, was such a long wait. but its so important to be in good health for surgery so I know its so pooey now, in a few weeks you will be glad you waited until your feeling better. Rest up, recharge, and find something you couldn't have done if you were having surgery ( I found this helped with my grief a bit)

Think it's sorted, just waiting for them to process the payment (ring me after) and email me the new flights. seriously been a nightmare, fly next wednesday morning. so a week ... cutting it close. Sometimes bccas have weird fillers in them like creatine which can affect your kidneys (show elevation) and you don't know what else, so I stopped everything apart from protein power. I just cut everything a week ago just incase

Hi girls! I had my first consultation today with Dr PHIL Richardson in Brisbane and booked surgery for 18 November! Scary and exciting stuff happening heh was quite confused with choosing the size! I am tall 180cm and slim at chest, can say flat chested before and after breastfeeding three kids. I tried 365C and 395C inserted into sports bra and liked the look of 395C . But then had photos taken and shown 3D images and got confused with 420C look 🤔 I am not after big boobs but rather natural look and feel, though for my tall frame I might get away with bigger size!?! Hmm my next consultation with a nurse 2 weeks before the surgery, to confirm the size... Cutting too short before the surgery!?!

@Ranalicious OMG they look amazing! You must be over the moon! @PrettyInBlack My PS has told me no arnica either Can you believe it?! I said to him, "So i've heard arnica helps" and he goes "with bleeding?" (That was his way of making a joke!) He said that the arnica will cause bleeding so that was a no from him. I'd double check with your PS though as I have read other girls say their PS told them to take it two weeks prior to surgery and after. Every PS is different. As much as I like to think I know stuff i'm going to trust my PS and take his word for it

no more ginger for me then... smashing lots of clean vege and salads though. And just green tea? is green tea ok? with lemon and honey. Nah the travel agency was this online one my friend (who's an ex) booked them through. Literally my surname is just missing 1 letter. but apparently this is really hard to rectify (honestly I've liked raged out and it's making me stressed when I'm already sick) but my ex said he will come over tonight and if it hasn't been sorted by then he's going to just pay for new tickets us the flights we are taking aren't booked up so we will still be travelling together. Which is nice because it's like 1.5k hahahaha... he's very good to me.

Damn @Babyj Dream swollen boobies! Mine are like little shiny weirdoes popping out to say 'f*ck you for cutting me open'! I'm also not in a compression bra yet... not until my stitches are out in 2 days. I've set up an album to show progress. I found them so handy when I was researching sizes and shapes etc.

Great question. Week 1: pain was fine. I stopped the strong stuff on day 2 then took panadol religiously. Really very little pain. When I started taking short walks my incisions hurt and I was exhausted. I didn't have a big appetite but digestion was fine. Week 2: depression and anxiety set in. Sometimes I just sat in bed and cried. I felt unlike myself and it was awful. On the upside could sleep on my sides. Weeks 3 and 4: going back to work was an absolute blessing. My mental health improved and pain settled to almost nothing. Almost back to normal in every way. If I do lots of walking I get very tired at night but I'm itching to start exercising anyway. Moving into my 5th week i feel great. Very mild pain on incisions when I wear tighter crop tops. Arm/shoulder motion is great. Almost ready to sleep on my stomach. Boob is still high on one side. Feeling 90% back to myself. If I could've warned myself about one thing it would've been how rough it was emotionally.

First 2 days I felt fine and then 3 day hits ya First week boobs ache nonstop, skin hurts ,nipples on fire, sleep upright, can't shave under arms, can't lift arms, no driving. It starts to ease off from there but then around 2 to 4 weeks my skin burnt and was itchy and on fire nonstop, still upright sleeping, still can't shave under arms. Started driving 2 weeks onwards Week 4-6 skin feels fine, incisions healed over, boobs feel heavy if unsupported, still upright sleeping, can do normal arm movement but no lifting yet or doing things with my arms up high etc 6 -7 weeks I forget they are there, finally able to lift my 12month old but not my 3 yr old, still struggle to shave under my arms cause the implant is changing its shape when I lift my arms up. Sleeping on side and doing normal housework etc I'm 7 to 8 weeks now boobs are still numb in places but no pain or discomfort

I don't understand, if you want that size and it fits its your decision, the boobs aren't on his body. And no it isn't big at all. With 40 cc u won't tell the difference. So instead of wishing you had gone bigger once again, go the biggest you can
