Aussiechic got a reaction from AlanaJ in Furry Brazilian (polyurethane) vs Texured - Your reasoning
I would never have described my brazzies as 'HARD' though, firm yes! Especially in the first couple of weeks when they were swollen and the muscles were pulled tightly over the top of them.
It's true that polyurethane coated Brazilians do take longer to drop, fluff, soften, settle etc than other implants but the end result is good.

Some of the top surgeons do use them, both plastic and cosmetic, most of the top surgeons use them after a woman has had cc.

Anyway, I guess it's up to each woman to do her own research and explore all her available options and make her decision from there.
But I am really happy with my choice!
    :-)
Silimed do make implants that aren't coated with polyurethane. I wonder if other gummy bear type implants get a bad wrap of being 'HARD' too!
I don't think it's the polyurethane coating that makes them firm I think it's the cohesiveness level of the silicone gel...
When I had my consultation my surgeon showed me 2 different types of Brazilian furry implants and one was quite a bit firmer than the other, so I guess they do have different types of cohesive gels inside them too.

    Quite an interesting topic here!

    Hi ladies :-)
Nope I didn't get the rash, I was expecting to with my sensitive skin but I didn't.

Newboobies38 I did have one sitting higher than the other, it was my lefty, dominant side and it's only evened up between 12 and 16 weeks. I can still slightly see a difference still but only I can notice it.

With furries (and I can speak from experience now, lol) it takes 4 to 5 months for them to soften, settle and fluff, I am 17 weeks tomorrow (4 months 1week) and I put on a bra yesterday that used to fit perfectly and it was slightly too small, as in the wires weren't sitting on my sternum like they used to, not enough that I feel I need to go up to the next size bra but just that I now feel more voluptuous in the bra now! So obviously my boobs have fluffed and gotten a tiny bit bigger, I think I still have a bit more to go maybe as my Dr said to expect significant changes in the 4th and 5th months so I have yet to see what my 5th month will bring.

I asked my Dr how long it takes for the foam to break down and disappear and he told me it takes 15 to 20 years, he said that even though my implants won't sag down my natural breast tissue and skin will still sag with time and gravity just like natural breasts. I'm not too worried about that though as I have very little breast tissue and my skin was shiny and tight over the implants so if my boobs end up sagging I'll probably be too old to care and I figure they'll match the rest of my old saggy wrinkly body anyway!

I've had my brazzies for almost a year now and I absolutely LOVE them, if I had to do it all over again I would do everything the same. At no point past the first week would I ever have used the word HARD to describe my new boobs, now at 11 months post op they are soft and squishy and jiggly. They did drop and fluff but it did take a little longer than other types of implants, for me 4 months was when they finished dropping fluffing and settling and since then they have just got better and better, I love them more the longer I have them.

    Hi Girls,
So a little update... even after 12 days they look soooooo much better. Weird...
Much less upper pole and much more lower pole and very very happy. Almost looks natural .
Obviously should have trusted Dr Vucak, he was amazing from the start.
So I will see how it all goes over the next few months.
    Thanks for all your support.

In an attempt to give you hope, I am about 15 months post op with Brazilians, I had nuance ones so a little different, but mine definitely dropped and fluffed to some extent. Not to the same degree as a non brazzi implant I guess but they absolutey definitely did as my numerous pics on here show. However.... the thing about Brazilians is that they do take MUCH longer than other implants to do their thing, mine took 4 months to really settle properly! And since then they haven't changed shape I don't think but have definitely gotten softer, although they are still nice and firm in a teenager who's never had children kinda way, which I love!! So try to be patient (which I know is hard!) and see how they go. I'm not sure if your surgeon is very experienced with using brazzies but they do need to be put in a bit differently to other implants as in, they need to be put into the correct position initially whereas other implants are generally put in a little higher to allow for them to drop into place. My brazzies did drop, you can see that in my pictures because they dropped unevenly, one before the other and I was worried they would stay like that, but at about the 4 month mark they evened out, mine also got slightly fuller looking as my tight skin relaxed and the lower pole filled out a little more into a more natural shape. I think you look great but will definitely look better in a few months. If you are generally happy with the size you have then just wait, but if you aren't then it might be best to go back to your Dr sooner rather than later. I love my brazzies and if I did this all over again I'd get the same implants, same size :-)
mine did! Not much, but a little :-)

    Hi ladies :-)
I went back for my 10 week post op checkup last week and my doc told me it takes 3 to 4 months for all of the swelling to go down.
So after I left his office I thought, oh crap does that mean they will shrink now? I wish I had asked him but I didn't think of it at the time and now I am so worried I will drop a cup size.
My left is still higher and he told me he thinks I will notice a significant difference in the next month, in particular of them softening lots more. He said they will settle more and fill out in the lower pole and he even thinks they will come in closer together which surprised me as I have always had a wide set bust.
So back to the old waiting game and let's see what the next month brings :-)
I hope I don't go down a size and I'm not sure if I will fluff and get bigger. I did a bit of googling and found a lot of girls who did go down smaller after 4 months when all their swelling dissipated but then went back up again once they d and f'd.
I am thinking this whole process takes a lot longer than I thought :-(

My Brazilians finally started fluffing at 12 weeks, I can't believe the difference between 12 weeks and 16 weeks! Softer and fuller and a little bit bigger. And they are finally quite even now.
I'm looking forward to comparing my 20 week pics with my 16 week ones.

    How is everyone else going?

Good luck Lissy for your revision on Monday not long now! xx

I had one of mine lowered because that boob was smaller and sat higher, right from right after surgery you could never tell it had been done, but it did seem to make that side take longer to drop and settle but all good now

I went with extra high profile textured rounds. I put my trust in my surgeon to choose the best anatomically suited profile for me.

I'm happy with how they look so far and I think once they soften and drop a little that they'll look more natural. Ive seen some really natural looking results of both round and anatomical implants. I think it just depends which implant would best suit your individual anatomy.

I was so anxious while trying to decide on size I was literally losing sleep! I was agonising over 20cc when the difference is so minimal to overall appearance.

I've just posted a new pic so feel free to check out my progress. Im happy to say I have no boob greed!....yet! X

I was really worried about cc too. I did a lot of research before my BA over about a year and a half and one of the things I learned was that most surgeons seem to replace implants with Brazilians when a patient has cc...
I saw 2 surgeons and the second one said he preferred to use the Brazilians initially so that cc doesn't occur in the first place as the chances of cc with the brazzies is extremely low.
I decided to get Brazilian implants because I was so worried about getting cc, I didn't want to go through the inconvenience, pain and down time of having cc repaired, I am a mum of 3 young children so 2 surgeries was something I wanted to do everything I possibly could to avoid!
So now 4 months on I am very happy with my brazillian boobies :-)

I never wear a bra at night I find it too uncomfortable. I love that I can fill out clothes now even without a bra. I know they will sag eventually but I figure that they will suit the rest of my body by then! I think it would look weird as an old lady with saggy wrinkly skin and these perfect round perky boobies! Lol
But seriously, my surgeon told me that the implants will stay in place but in time all skin and breast tissue sags so my natural tissue and skin will drop. But since I don't have much natural breast tissue I'm not overly concerned about this. I'm just enjoying my new body and making the most of it while I'm still young enough to rock these babies. Hi Lissy,
I had a consult with my Dr this week, 51/2 months roughly now, and that was one of the questions I asked him , is it normal to be able to feel the edges of my implants or was I feeling the edges of the pockets or what!
He said it was the edges of the implants but that eventually they would soften up so much that I wouldn't be able to feel them, he said it would take anything up to a year post op for them to finish softening completely, and that they would feel completely like 'me' like real natural breast tissue.
As you know I have brazzies too so I thought I'd let you know since I had the same concerns and asked about it
