Hey guys, I've uploaded a gallery of day 16 post op photos - they still have a long way to drop but thought they might be helpful, especially for the other Miroshnik girls!
Keep in mind that I also had inverted nipple surgery so that's why there's bruising on my nipples.
Have had no pain at all since day 5 and am sleeping on side with no problems.

When you've wanted something desperately for 24 years and it's finally about to come true, it feels very surreal. I don't think I'll be able to get excited until after I wake up from surgery.

Oh my god! Can you believe that's it? All us November ladies have joined the boobies side?!
At times it felt like it would never come, at times it felt like we didn't want it to come and at times we wished it hadn't come, but in the end we all got our time and it was all worth it!
Thank you to all the November ladies (and honorary November ladies) for your honesty, kindness, support and humor on the journey to and beyond!

When I just started looking into getting my BA, I really, really had no idea what I was in for or how much each and every one of you ladies would help me through. I had no idea I would come to rely on this forum, that my journey would be turned from what would've been a disaster, to this fun, exciting adventure that doesn't stop the day they give you boobs !
This isn't goodbye, as I plan on sticking around and I hope you all do too, but I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS boobalicious ladies :) :) and THANKYOU :) :)

Newboobsforme, what a terrible time for you! I'm sorry you've had such a shocking time and I hope with some tweaking your recovery gets easier!

Yay Music101 sounds good so far and congratulations on your new boobies !

That's excellent music101, glad to hear you are recovering so well after all that suspense of having to wait. I am the same, I have ally more pain when I stay still, so even when resting on the couch during the day, I get up every 10 mins and walk around the house for 5 mins and do some arm stretches and that helps to reduce the pain!

Ah that would have been frustrating having your surgery run so far behind! I had Dr DeSilva for my anaesthetist too congrats on your new boobs and I hope you have an easy recovery

    Hey guys,
We have soo many people with scoliosis here, I also have scoliosis but luckily it hasn't effected my surgery at all.
Newboobsforme the wide cleavage is normal as this early stage, apparently because there isn't enough loose skin in between the breasts at the moment the implants can't move closer but will come closer together as they drop in 4-6 months and the skin softens.

So I had my surgery yesterday. Unfortunately they were running 2 hours behind so I had to wait for ages which gave me more time to worry haha but it was fine. I was taken into another little room where Dr Miroshnik marked me up and assured me that it would all go well. The marking up was so quick which was good. I was then taken into the theatre and had to lie down on the table and my anaesthetist (dr de silva)  gave me my injection (cannula). I was worried that this would be painful but it was absolutely nothing, least painful needle I've ever had! I was then given the general anaesthetic and I felt soo dizzy suddenly and then the next thing I knew I was on a bed in the recovery room. Dr De Silva had to come back and give me another cannula because I ripped mine out without realizing haha, I don't even remember that! I had a bit of discomfort at first but when he put the new cannula in and pain relief I felt really good, was very tired and kept drifting in and out of sleep. I was actually surprised that the pain for me was not bad at all, it was only about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10.
After leaving the hospital I had a 3 hour car ride home which I was nervous about but it was fine, I had no pain and absolutely no nausea (the nurse did give me an anti-nausea medication before I went though). I also haven't had any nausea with endone which is a great relief.
This morning I woke up with some pain and it was really hard getting up and reaching for something (it hurts when I move, when I am mobile there is no pain). However, with another dose of Endone I was fine and am still feeling good now. A bit of discomfort but nothing too bad.
Any of the girls going in the next few weeks, don't get overly nervous - I thought I was going to be in 10 times more pain than I am now!!

Had my final pre-op appointment yesterday and have decided to go with the 255s Aghh I'm so excited, can't believe there is less than a week to go!
I got told that my implants won't require any type of massaging after surgery - don't know whether this is a good or bad thing?

He told me that because he is sewing me up a certain way, to prevent the teardrop/anatomical from turning, massage could damage the internal sutures.  I can't wait to follow your journey.
I wish I had been able to get them at your age. It would have done wonders. Better late than never

A am 173cm and 56kg and wear an 8B bra but would say I'm an A cup, I am having 450cc round high profile under the muscle so I would say you will be fine with 255cc also if your having it under the muscle you will lose a little. If you have a look through this feed there are some pics on me with my regular bra on and some with my 450cc sizers if you want to have a sticky beak at them

Cricket I have been trying to slowly ease myself into a side lying position, and still no good! They feel still feel too fragile and uncomfortable lol! Waking up this morning though I felt noticeably less stiff though which was pleasantly surprising!

Hey lovely November Ladies!!! I'm so excited to tell you all that I have my boobies

So here's a run down of my experience for those of you who are interested.

Last night I was feeling happy because as you know my surgery was up in the air due to breast pain in my right boob but after having an ultrasound I was given the go ahead. I stayed up late getting things organised and hubby and I managed to fit in some "alone" time after the kids went to bed as he will be feeling pretty lonely for a couple of weeks lol

I had a pre-midnight snack and then set my alarm to go off at 5:00AM and again at 5:30AM just in case I slept through the first one (no chance of that with all the excitement and nerves btw lol). This morning I showered using some Gamophen soap and dressed in some black leggings, a wide sleeve singlet and a hooded zip up jacket (thank you Danni for convincing me to bring warmer clothes as I couldn't comprehend the cooler weather I would experience in Sydney). Hubby and I woke the kids and carried them down to the car at 6:20. I was super afraid I would forget something but turns out I didnt even need the things I took (I packed my iPhone, iPad, and wallet).

We arrived at the hospital and I gave my family a kiss and cuddle each and said goodbye then hopped out of the car and wallked into the hospital and up to admissions. once I checked in with the desk and paid my hospital fee I sat down and read the paper - Glitter Gal I stumbled across that article on the 3rd page in about the link between cancer and implants :-/ After yesterday's shamozzle with the boob pain I was seriously considering high tailing it out of there as I thought the universe was trying to tell me something too lol.

So after a little wait there I was taken through to a room with an admissions nurse who tagged my ankle with a name bracelet and asked me the routine questions about name, DOB, and procedure I was there for. She also took my BP. Following this I was taken around to a change room and after pointing out the things I would need to put on (surgical gown, dressing gown, booties and told I could keep my own underwear on) she left me to my own devices to change. They left me a suit bag to pop my clothes and belongings in which was stored in a locked cupboard whilst I was in surgery. Now being the wally that I am I got dressed in my surgical gown, tied it up and walked out to meet my admissions nurse. We start walking through to the pre-op waiting area and on passing another nurse she says to my nurse "have you checked her gown?" I had the bloody thing on backwards lol duh! *Insert beetroot face here*

My anaesthetist came in and greeted me after I had corrected the wardrobe dilemma and then I was taken through to another room and they sat me down to wait for my PS. He came in not long after and drew what looked like an American football game strategy on my chest. I must say how impressed I am by his thoroughness when marking me up. He was really fantastic. We briefly discussed implant sizes and he reiterated that the smaller implant may be necessary to get symmetry as I am only having a lift on the one size. He also said he would see once in there if he could get away with the less invasive lift to prevent scarring as I was only a tiny cm off this being an option. I told him the scarring wouldn't bother me if I got the optimal result.

Once done with the marking up, my anaesthetist nurse came back in and fitted me with some lovely compression things that loked like deflated life jackets for your legs. She walked me around to the operating room with one hand around my shoulder and my chart in her hand (she used this to block my view of another procedure which she said I "DO NOT" want to see. I was greatful as my head automatically turned that way.

In the operating theatre it seemed very surreal. I hopped up on the table and my anaesthetist started doing his thing. His nurse put an extremely cold sticker on my thigh which I have no idea what it was for. They asked me a few questions about my children and then BAM!! Lights out Cricket - hello recovery room lol. I woke up really quickly apparently which is a credit to my anaesthetist. My eyes felt really blurry and I briefly remember informing the nurse about rememberence day as she was asking if it was a PH today. This recovery nurse was so lovely. She asked me how my pain felt and I told her okay but I felt a lot of pressure on my chest. After assuring me the pressure was a normal feeling but that pain meds would help she got me some pain relief. I took that and then five minutes later she gave me more medicine through my cannula as I was still sore. I felt better after this. She fitted me in my post op surgical bra (carefix Alice provided by my surgeon) and then grabbed my clothes bag and helped me to dress.

I was a bit wobbly on the legs as she walked me over to the recovery recliners to have a bite to eat. I was given sandwhich triangles (an assortment of three fillings and bread types), she brand me a green tea (which I could have married her for as it was amazingly just what I needed), a bottled water, some crackers, some sweet buscuits, and a hunk of packaged mainland cheese. Trying to eat was interesting as everything was so dry, pasty and hard to swallow after having a breathing tube in during the surgery. I needed to wash everything down with water after chewing. I drank three bottles of water and my green tea after waking up in recovery lol - thirsty work I guess

My recovery nurse took me over to the toilets to see if I could pass urine and whilst in there (by myself) it seems I had stage fright and couldn't go lol. She knocked to tell me Dr Miroshnik had come to check on me so I gave up and came out to greet him. He was impressed with how fast I was up and about. He told me everything went well and that he ended up going with the 330cc implant to give the best symmetry to my non-lifted breast. I ended up getting the vertical lift on the left as he couldn't get away with the crescent lift (I was secretly happy about that as I want the lift to be the best in can be).

After leaving my recovery nurse called my hubby to come pick me up I was in for surgery at 8:30AM woke up in recovery around 10.40AM and drifted in and out in my recovery recliner until hubby and my two little ones came to pick me up at 12:15PM. I was told yesterday that I could expect to be there until 2PM so I was pleased how fast I was coming good.

After a rundown about my medications from the nurse we left to head back to our apartment. Pain was creeping back in and we had to stop at the pharmacy on the way home to grab my medications and an ice pack which I was instructed to use for thirty minutes on thirty minutes off. I had some of a yoghurt squeeze that we had in the fridge for the kids so that I could take my medication and am feeling awesome now. I have fIve different medications to juggle so I am writing down my dose and time taken and time it's next due.

I had a sneak preview in the mirror to see what they looked like and OMG the man is a boob genius! I know it's only early stages but hubby and I are both already in love with them lol. I will try to attach some pics in my singlet so you can get an idea of size. (*Edit* green singlet is post-op and white one is pre-op)

Sorry for the humongous post ladies but if I didn't get it out now than my shitty memory would forget all of the details I want to remember hahah!! Apologies in advance for any spelling errors (I hate spelling errors and normally proofread my writing to fix them but can't be bothered ).

Glitter girl I am so excited for you tomorrow and want you to know that you will be fine. The feeling you get when you see your new reflection in the mirror is indescribable! I feel like a woman and not a kid lol I love it . I might copy this post over to the surgey experience board for non November ladies to read so just letting you know in case you start reading it again hahah.

Hi ladies just thought I'd check in, my op went well so hopefully everything heals well, I was quite uncomfortable on the hospital bed when I woke up I was glad when they moved me to a comfy recliner, I was also quite sore so they gave me something for the pain. So far the pain meds are doing their job so hopefully they keep doing so. They hospital staff we really good, ny admissions nurse was fantastic she made me feel quite calm she kept telling me it was an exciting op, I also had a great anaethatist so that made me feel even better I was feeling fine enough that when offered Valium preop I said I didn't need it. I was picked up from hospital by hubby at 12:30 after he just dropped me off at 6:30 at the front door of the hospital so I was quite proud I did it all on my own.
