  1. Well there can only be one reason they are nitpicking, and again not accusing but merely speculating, this might be just one of rastogi's marketing tactics by getting his staff to troll the internet for him. Just a thought hahah, may or may not be true. I thank you for the support and understanding, I was very disappointed myself. And to loving earth, Hopefully my feedback is not too late. As of today, I have already had my revision with dr liew and have my implant reduced to about half it's original size and to a cohesive gel natrelle implant. I am extremely pleased with the result.I finally have that completely natural shape and feel rather than the stuck on fake look the brazilian furries were creating. They are so proportionate to my physique, so so natural, they can finally move and are so soft ! Yeay most of all I finally have that more symmetrical sized breast (as dr liew placed slightly different sizes to correct this) I have always wanted. This was the main reason I was seeking BA. But unfortunately for me, what hurts the most, more so that the money and time wasted, is my loss of sensation that remains. I am still very numb on my entire breast area. Not much change from when Rastogi first operated in 2013 till now. But if this experience can help even just one person, that would give me some comfort atleast. All the best!
  2. I would like to add here for the record, that I am now 1 year plus post op and nothing has actually improved. The furry brazillians that dr rastogi used on me have remained rigid and stuck on, they do not move at all and I cannot push them together. Very disappointing. Most upsetting of all is my entire breast area has remained about 80% numb. It feels like it is not even part of my own body. After patiently waiting past a year, I have been told it may not return. I cannot help but blame the skill on the surgeon and give him credit instead for his sweeting talking and persuasive techniques as everything that Dr rastogi promised did not come true. Such as softness, sensation, size and correction of asymmetry. I cant help but wander if things may have turned out differently if I saw an actual plastic surgeon and not a cosmetic surgeon. i was told repeatedly not too ask so many questions and reassured constantly by himself and his nurses. Overall very disappointing and regretful experience. Just my 2 cents. Ideally, I would hope to get a revision from a different surgeon when i can afford one. I advice all you girls to choose their surgeon wisely and not fall for marketing tactics during consultations.
  3. Hi girls, I am more than one year post op with Dr rastogi and i had high hopes for it to be a positive one unfortunately this wasnt the case. The furry brazillian implants that dr rastogi only uses are still very stuck on and rigid despite hes promises that it would soften up over time. The size he guaranteed would look perfect on me also are far too big for my petite frame. I was looking for at most a small C cup in general, and ended up with more of a D cup. Most upsetting of all is that my entire breast area is about 80% numb still! after waiting patiently for sensation to return past a year..there may have simply been too much nerve damage. I have been told that this is now permanent.. All I know is everything Dr rastogi promised didnt turn out well, such as size, softness, symmetry correction and sensation. I cannot help but blame the skill of the surgeon sometimes, it might be that he is a cosmetic surgeon and not an actual qualified plastic surgeon. Oh how I do wish i considered that more before i went forward with the surgery. This is just my personal experience with Dr rastogi. I just wish I had been warned earlier as all i saw were mostly good reviews of Dr rastogi. Good luck!
  4. Hi Lindy Thank you for your post about Dr Rastogi. I have a consultation with him in a couple of weeks and I too, am asian. Can I ask what size you were before BA and what u are now? Or do you have any photos, if you feel comfortable sharing? And is there any improvement with the softening and have you got more feeling back? Sorry about all the questions. Hope to hear from you soon :)

      Hi Toni,

Sorry for the very late reply! its not very often i use this forum.

I am officially 13 months plus post op and no there has not been any significant improvement. They still remain rigid and stuck on.

It is absolutely heart breaking sometimes as my entire breast area about 80% numb still. Instead of fixing my breast asymmetry which was the main reason i got it done, i ended up with more problems such as numbness, hardening and breast that are too large...

  5. Unbelievable, have called Dr Rastogi's office 4-5 times already to ask questions and to ease my anxiety with the BA complications, and they refuse to let me have a word with him.Telling me they would call back and then never do. Im am just shocked and hurt, i really trusted this Dr... Live and learn, I will be seeing someone else for revision.
  6. Unfortunately i feel like i am in the same boat as skyblue, thats just it.. they simple look and feel too fake. Similarly, I also originally had some assymetry that he said he would solve for by lifting one nipple to align it with the other. im guessing he did not succeed in this as they are the same asymmetry, just bigger breast. I also have to say as much research as i thought i did, it should have really been rastogis responsibility to educate me about the brazillian implant firmness. I recall at my first consult with him he immediately said, 'if you feel them they really arent that firm compared to the normal ones' as he got me to compare the feel of both implants....so thats what he meant, i had not clue about the difference of firmness and immobility of the brazillian implant. i had some idea but didnt know the firmness would be such an issue for some girls like myself. I personally have already contacted the clinic to consult with rastogi about my concerns, however the nurses seemed so reluctant to put in an appointment for me. im still not quite sure if ill go...
  7. I would also like to mention that the natural hanging look, does look good but what bugs me is that the breast are not actually hanging. They are stuck on low to create that illusion. And that is what I mean by not able to move, as any natural breast would be able to be lifted. So now if I were to wear a underwire bra. My boobs look very low on my body. While i do admit the breast look good in the nude.
  8. please don't make assumptions and ironically accuse me in turn. This post popped up in relation to the first post I responded to. The question referred to 2 doctors that I have personally consulted with. Forgive me if I felt that my sharing my experience would be appropriate . Don't worry about offending, none taken.
  9. Yes that is dr liew opinion. You have your opinion. Everyone has one. Mine is simply that the implant was a lot firmer than expected and that they cannot be lifted. Yes so you have noted that I agree with you that they look amazing and natural ish, but I am simply being honest they do not feel amazing or natural at the moment. And yes Rastogi has a lot of talent with creating natural 'looking'' especially when girls like us who have minimal breast tissue. I agree as I said amazing! But as the brazillians are a firmer implant compared to a range other ones out there, in practical terms it does not make sense to put it in someone with less natural breast tissue that would make up for the softness of the breast as a whole. it is all different opinions and desire for the end result. You obviously didn't mind a firmer but natural looking breast. While I was very much looking forward to breast that feel soft and as natural as they look, which we have to admit do not match up. honestly, your positivity makes me feel a lot better. I hope you are right. Also, please don't get offended that I may have accused Loz89, I didn't directly accuse her. It was a general wondering as I was getting quite irritated. I feel like am not being allowed to say what I feel or have experienced in this space.
  10. To answer your first question, if you re read both the questions they are actually the same except this one included dr liew which I also went to see before my BA with dr rastogi. Hence I thought this question would also be appropriate to answer. They are the same so the answer coming frm me will always be the same. And yes I already mentioned to you that I did do research but apparently not enough. I should have looked into prioritising the feel of the implant rather than the look of before and after photos. I just didn't know any better. But now that I know, I am simply trying to help others know different perspectives which I think are just as important as your good perspective.
  11. Hi Loz89, Why are u scouting all of dr rastogi's reviews?? Do you work for him? I posted on these 2 forums as people deserve to know other aspects of people's experience. The decision is up to them. I never criticised your positive one. Just accept there might be bad ones. Nothing is perfect. Don't need to get defensive because I had the experience that I did.
  12. I very sorry if I upset anyone. I post in these 2 forums to help anyone out as much as I can. I sure as hell wish I had known this beforehand while I was researching dr rastogi. Everyone is entitled to their opinion let alone an experience. This is simply my experience. M10972, What does it have to do with rastogi? Well everything. Which is exactly part of my concerns. As you have mentioned it is not in fact for everyone which is something I agree with and have come to realise the hard way. Rastogi uses that same implant across the many different types of patients he would have. Eg. as it is a firm implant that has minimal movement, it's not for those with a petite frame and minimal breast tissue to begin with. I quote from dr Liew.
  13. I am 6 months post op and unfortunately am feeling a little regretful. All in all, i think Rastogi is to an extent overrated. I do not doubt his charm towards his patients though. He is a very kind and patient man. I completely fell in love with his artistry. However, i feel this is a time when looks can be deceiving. I wish i had been more concerned with the feel and movement of the implant rather than just the appearance. My breast are somewhat the standard example of the work of his that you see. As Rastogi only works with the furry brazillian implants, my breast are rather stiff and firm. They stick to the chest wall and therefore cannot be lifted or moved like any normal natural breast would. I generally cant wear a bra anymore or atleast one that would fit and support my breast properly. It simply feels like i am placing my bra on my solid lumps. Quite disappointing indeed. No doubt do the breast 'look' amazing though. They seem to hang very naturally against the body as the work he has demonstrated. But please keep in mind that they do not actually move!! I wish i had known this prior to committing to a surgery with him. If you are all for the visual aesthetics of the breast and not for the feel and natural movement of it, then by all means Rastogi is for you. I on the other hand feel otherwise After speaking to dr liew who uses many different implants, I have found that the furry brazillians are not ideal for eveyone and should not be applied to every patient that walks in. Typically, asians tend to have less natural breast tissue and therefore the firm rigid nature of the furrys would not suit an asian like myself. My advice is too not get swayed by just the before and after pictures you see their website. Go and consult with more than one dr and see if they cover all aspects of your desired outcome. Good luck!
  14. Yes i did see the silicone implants actually but what i meant was feel them in someone else's breast...LOL. Anyway, thanks for that. Phew kinda made me feel better about the complete numbness. Although..you are only 9 months post op and already have sensation in your nipples. Its just as of now most of my breast are so numb that it feels no where close to feeling anything let alone having hypersensitive nipples! I will try and hang in there though. Fingers crossed!

There is some unguaranteed evidence that these implants may be the safest on the market, however i personally dont think that it is worth having along with the firm rigid nature of the implant.
