  1. Hi all, Just thought I would you provide you all with an update. A year after undergoing my first rhinoplasty with Dr Pham I decided that I wasn't happy. I spoke to him about it, and he admitted that I would need another surgery to correct the polybeak deformity that I had developed in addition to some techniques that he had used that were not appropriate in my case. I also ended up with a lot of bulky cartilage in the middle of my nose which was very unsightly. I made an appointment to see Dr Imani in April 2016, and he told me to come back in another 12 months just to make sure that all of the swelling had gone down from previous operation. Fast forward to July 2017... I went back to see Dr Imani, and he performed my revision rhinoplasty on the 8th of August. Although he is very expensive, you really do get what you pay for. Dr Imani is a facial plastic surgeon specialist, and an expert at rhinoplasty. He spent 3.5 hours correcting Dr Pham's errors and did not let me out of surgery until he was satisfied. The recovery this time around has been more difficult and a little bit more painful and uncomfortable. So far, so good though! It looks great, still very swollen (obviously) but on the whole, it looks a lot better.
  2. Hi Boo, Glad to hear you have selected Dr Pham as your surgeon. He is a good surgeon with a fantastic reputation. All the best for your surgery and recovery.
  3. Hi everyone! The surgery was a success. Dr Pham did a fantastic job, and I have recovered well. There is a still a little bit of swelling and bruising, but it's hardly noticeable. The procedure itself was nothing to be afraid of. I was a mess before I went into theatre, but Dr Pham held my hand and reassured me that I was going to be okay. When the swelling and bruising subsides I will post a picture of my new nose. I am very happy and would highly recommend Dr Pham.
  4. I have my nose surgery with Dr Pham on the 16th, and now I'm totally petrified after reading this forum!
  5. Hi all, Just letting you know that I have decided to go with Dr Pham. My surgery is on the 16th of February and I'm so nervous! eek! Wish me luck!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm off to see my GP to get a referral for my first Rhinoplasty procedure. As you can imagine, I'm feeling very nervous! I've read bits and pieces throughout the forum, and I guess I am trying to gauge who is the more preferred surgeon. I have heard wonderful things about Dr Pham and Dr Imani, so if anyone here could please share their experiences with these two surgeons that would be most appreciated. I intend on going to see both surgeons just to be sure, but as I said, recommendations and photos would be very helpful at this stage.
  7. Thanks for your input ladies. Honeyb1 let me know how your next consult goes!
  8. Hi everyone, I'm considering having a breast lift procedure done and I'd like to know who you all recommend and how much it costs. I have a large bust (E cup) that began developing when I was 10 years old. Over the years they have become quite saggy and I'm embarrassed by it (especially because I haven't even had children!). I realise that I might have to have a reduction at the same time, however my mother had a reduction a few years ago and they don't look very nice which makes me worry. Anyway, let me know your thoughts.
