  1. He was really great and Wendy was even more helpful. My tummy tuck is so good... If I new how to send photos I would as I'm so thrilled... I had a few tiny infections on the scar but I knew that would happen as I do scar ... Every time I had a query I would call in and it was not a problem and I'm so happy with the after care
  2. I personally think it was the best thing I have ever done... I'm day 19 and am ready to go back to work as I'm bored... I wish I had worn nighties as it was hard getting dressed and trying to bend down to pull pj up.. The drip was In the way and when you needed to go to the toilet it was easier... By the time you learn which way to get out of bed with out hurting it was a mad shuffle to get to the loo.... It surprised me that the pain was not as bad... I had 2 emergency Caesars and I'm positive back then I thought I was dying But I also learnt to breathe thru the discomfort... I have been told to wear my binder for 6 weeks but the other day I had enough and went to Kmart and bought some sucky pants.... That was so much better and I then put the binder over that... It seems to protect my skin....... My skin feels "plastic" and so tight but I'm ecstatic it looks so good.... And I can see my fanny for the 1st time in 27 years.... Read as much as you can and my doctor tells me to listen to my body and I do... As soon as I feel sore I lie down pillows behind my back and under my legs and rest.... Last night is the 1st time I have not had a pillow under my legs but it felt really weird so after reading Tanya story I think I'm going to a lot more careful as I don't want to tear my scar and take a bit more care.... Anyway good luck... Use the morphine button when you first come out and I wish I had read about the constipation as I honestly thought that was the worse part do the recuperation.... Been blocked up and having to try and go to the toilet..... I also agree take as many photos as I have shown my before photos to my family who have never seen my front bum and I show them now... And they have all said.... You should have done it sooner..... Good luck and take your time.... I also had a 2 hour trip home from hospital .... My son was driving and he kept slowing right down but in the end I told him to do the normal speed so I could get home and I went straight to bed..... So exciting and listen to your body and rest.....
  3. Hi.... I wish I had found this forum earlier... So good to read everyone's experiences.... I'm now day 18 and feel fantastic... Who would think after having a tummy tuck and liposuction on my handles and been so sore for the first 7 days that all I want to do is go back to work and start exercising.... I lost 30 kgs 2 years ago and had a wonderful swinging apron that I was so embarrassed about that I thought "stuff it" it's my time to look after me..... I have had a great experience my stomach looks so flat..... It's been over 27 years since I've seen my fanny and I just keep saying "wow" .... Anyway a few questions if people could help me... when can I start exercising? how long before I can eat any sort of food before the full stomach/painful feeling go away? When did everyone stop wearing their binder? What did you do to make the lumpy bits disappear around the liposuctions and bruising areas? Hope all you lovely people can help Anyway can so recommend getting plastic surgery done..... This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.....
  4. My doctor who recommended him said that he had also recommended him for other patients for BA as well... . I was really impressed with him...plus I've now seen more of his work ...very impressive I was booked for May but he was going overseas and I really wanted him to be around just in case.... Well nothing has gone wrong and his cuts are so clean and I feel great and I'm day 18....
  5. :) I looked at going overseas and Brisbane and happened to hear about Sunshine Plastic Surgery Dr Aru in Rockhampton Qld .....well considering it was only 2 hours away close to home etc I decided to have a consultation.... He was brilliant... I had tummy tuck and lipo and he has looked after me so well...I had 2 Caesars from belly button to pubic bone very very bad scaring and horrific stretch marks so was concerned how he would be able to fix but he assured me the whole way. I stayed at the Mater hospital and they where excellent as well... Dr Aru visited me everyday when I was in hospital .. I had 5 days as I lived a distance and he wanted to make sure all the drains where out before I left and that everything was ok... And it has been... When I have a concern I ring him and he answers all my questions.... I am so happy as I felt he really cared about me and I was not a $ sign..... Highly recommend ....
  6. Thanks.. It was hardwork but worth it and now I look at my flat tummy and feel like a million dollars.... Worth the small pain....
