i am similar stats stats. slightly shorter and few kg less. size 12. 37 years old. i went with 485cc seemed huge to me. had discussed less but dr said will make decision on the day. they are a good size  DD but don't look too big as im broad.
i dont look matronly but i have a smallish waist/ flat stomach. had a tummy tuck at same time but didnt carry weight there. just excess skin from kids and weightloss.  if i didnt id worry about looking bigger.
so overall probably depends on your body type and if you are broad etc. i wouldnt go too small as the inplants need to be bigger depending on your chest width but wont look as big  on you as someone who is much shorter.

They will as the soften I've had implants for 10 years (this is the second set) I still firmly believe implants are best after 1-2 years

Unfortunately bupa cancelled my cover, I didn't know and they didn't notify me (said they did but got no letters or any calls!) I offered to back pay it but it was just over the max time they allow that. I've been a member for probably 5 years and came from my parents cover who pay ALOT as well but they couldn't care less, they got my premiums every month for years for which I never made claims on then as soon as they see a way to cut you off they will! I even tried to go to the ombudsmen. It's was really upsetting, I can join another PHI but need to wait 12 months as its pre existing and I cannot handle another year like this as well as the risk of the Medicare number being revoked or changed once again!
Thankyou so much for your responses too I appreciate it
Thanks so much.  I will look into this, something like this might also work! I can reduce the costs
by having day surgery and under twilight but I just don't feel
    comfortable doing that

Im working my butt off exercising at the moment to try & be as tones & light as possible pre op as I know I won't be able to do much afterwards. Hubby turns 50 in Aug & we are having house guests from Late July with party in early Aug so I want to be back up & running by then (I hope) besides the kids won't let me have too much down time too, so as quick as possible recovery is what I am trying to contribute to by being as healthy as I can be. Im glad that your happy with the results cline88 it always helots xx

wow 60k is a lot. i guess i prob paid but under 40k with surgeon fee. out of pocket theatre for implants and anesthetist. although might have been 35k not 100% sure. still a lot.
i havent taken pics. but my boobs look good. typical miroshnik inner clevage lines if you know the look from all the facebook pics. scars still a bit red but boob covers them. but you can see if i lift arms.
he did a good job on tummy. scar really low like just on top of pubic line. scar thin and neat.  sure it will be good in a year. i gained a little over xmas. only about 4kg up at from op but my tummy not as flat. when i lose it it will go back down as was good just before xmas.very flat. but took a while for swelling to go down. i looked pregnant for first month.  i think i might still have some swelling too as at end of day my stomach is much rounder and feels stretched. i think with this op you shouldnt gain weight as you feel really tight.

you shouldnt wake up in pain.  i had an IV in and could click it when i needed more. your also numb in that general area so that helps  nurse had to tell me to click  a bit more so i wouldn't start to feel pain. my experience was not much pain. more discomfort and hard to walk initially etc. but not so much pain.
having said that i stayed on top of my endone and panadol etc for first 5 or so days till i trailed off

I had the same worry, my scars looked like they were on my chest wall a few weeks post op. I'm now 4.5 weeks post op and they've traveled to my crease. I think as my boobs drop more the scars will end up hidden. If you Google it, it seems quite common than the scars move a lot as things settle, and the surgeon has to guess where to put them! Let me how you go though, I'm going for a post op apt in a few weeks and will ask about it as well.

I wore PJ or trackie pants in hospital and a tshirt. and once drains were out you can wear what you want but too fitted may not look the best with the swelling from tummy tuck. also if you are still in a binder they are bulky. I was in a binder for first week then in compression garment which was better as pulled me in more.

Ask your surgeon whether you can take antibiotics this close to surgery before you start anything. Betadine sore throat gargle is really good as suggested by Cline.

i had BA BL and TT 3 weeks ago with Miroshnik. Had 495 high profile mentors. Too early to know end result. I hadn't asked for high profile but he ordered a few options and decided they looked the best during surgery.  Think they were better as i had some sagging from weight loss.  He understood i didn't want the fake look or too big. They so far look great in clothes still got a way to go naked though.
the before and afters on his facebook page are all at least 12 months post op the nurses at his clinic told me so you just hav to remember to be patient post op.

Maybe try not to mention the boobs as they will tell people something about dr and boobs and people will guess. Could say getting the muscles fixed or something.  I had tummy and boobs done 3 weeks ago and told my kids i had to get muscles in tummy fixed. The accepted that. And have not noticed the boobs so far.

I wanted to add that I wouldn't stress about how the kids are going to take it too much. When it is over and done with you realise that your way more worried you should be about that and they are absolutely fine, yes there might be a tantrum or 2 because they want to be picked up but that's as bad as is will get!
Also I agree with Scilne88 if you don't want eveyone to know I wouldnt tell your kids. The sore back thing that Harmonybear mentioned sounds like a good suggestion.
