  1. I booked directly with Dr. Boochai when he worked in Phuket. (I had my surgery over three years ago) He is now in Bangkok. It was very easy to book yourself. His staff are great at helping you. Good luck. Ps. At the time Somnio and Lotus were quite good, l am not sure of their reputations now. A woman runs tour groups for Dr Boonchai patients as well. @mumO5
  2. Agree Don. I think when your skin is crap you feel like crap and that certainly doesn’t help with depression either.
  3. I have been on this drug twice. Sure there are side effects but all manageable so l was lucky. It was the only thing that worked for me. My son was on it as as well with no issues. Like any drugs there are always going to be risks. Interesting read, thanks for sharing.
  4. I had mine checked pre- implant for piece of mind (mammogram) then l have them checked every two years. I worry with implants that l might miss something so it’s worth it and fully covered.
  5. I am a Dr B girl all the way! Look at the surgeons reviews, that is the most important thing. Cost shouldn’t be a factor. Good luck 😊
  6. 😂 He was happy enough with the old ones, l wasn’t! It took him a while to get used to my “stress balls” lol
  7. @Sf72 happy for you to see pics. I only have my old ones in my gallery though, l don’t tend to take any now. They are much the same just not as high and more natural. At the time l was 163cm and 49kg (way to small for me) Now l sit at around 52kg.
  8. Google Dr Boonchai. He works in Bangkok. I had a BL and BA with him nearly three years ago. Not sure about just a lift though but l am sure you can get an opinion. Good luck!
  9. I went dual plane mod plus profile 300CC. Most people think they are natural, only the odd person at the beach may pick up on it and ask cos they are not sure. That's want l wanted at the time. Next time l will definitely go bigger but not crazy big. They end up being smaller then the sizers you try on anyway- thank god l listened to hubby and didn't go any smaller!
  10. 40- took ten years to talk hubby into it! 😂
  11. I have only just seen this-fantastic news! Hope the morning sickness settles soon. Xx

    Mirena

Good luck, hopefully it will all settle down soon. X
  13. I still sleep in mine 2 1/2 years post op, clio and jockey are my favourites. I usually get them from Big W but l think other stores sell them. 😊
  14. I tend to bruise a lot with fillers, does anyone have any advice or 'magic tricks' to minimise this or cover it up? Make up barely does the job. I am due for my next round of fillers but l am dreading it! TIA, Gabby x
  15. Carmex! I have tried everything and that is the best by far!
  16. That's awesome, for a minute l thought you were near your due date and thought my god that has gone quick! 😂 Good to hear things are going well X

    Mirena

So an update for anyone that is interested. @donatella and @imperfectly_lou I had my six week follow up and my gynae insisted that the Mirena doesn't cause thrush but it can cause a pH imbalance. So she said use pH gel applicators and wash with vinegar! It gives a whole new meaning to fish and chips and vinegar! 😂 I have also started drinking apple cider vinegar as well. Not sure if it is doing anything but l have had no flare ups. 👍 On a side note, no period since- winning!!! My hormones were a bit screwed for the first few months- emotions etc but it seems to have settled. My gynae loves her Mirena she has used them for twenty years and has never had an issue hence why she love them (or she is on their payroll lol) Hope this helps someone that is thinking of getting one. Gabby x

    Mirena

Thanks guys, good to know. Thrush can be an issue for me at times anyway, l have spent a fortune on treatment and l take probiotics. It hasn't been an issue in months so my money is on the Mirena. I will just have to suck it up for the moment because having light periods or no period is a bonus! I will see what my Gynae says today. Gabby xx

    Mirena

@Eian Mcneely when you said it wasn't good in the beginning do you mind me asking what you mean? I have hit nearly the six week mark and thrush is an issue and a 'heavy' feeling with wanting to pee a lot! (Not a uti) l am wondering if it has moved after sex (TMI lol) l have never been able to find my strings. Off to the gyno on Monday with a list of questions!

    Mirena

Hi Pink butterfly, l think like the pill it varies from person to person. I have never had any weight gain with Contraception but l know people that have. Because the hormone is realised within the uterus the side effects are meant to be less then the pill, hormonal implant and injections (sorry l can't think of their names) I figure if it doesn't work for me l can always take it out. Good luck!

    Mirena

Hi guys, Just thought l would update this just in case anyone if considering a Mirena. One month in and so far so good, first period was barely there which was great so l am hoping the next one is non existent! I am hoping everything will continue on as usual minus the periods lol. Gabby x
  22. Your pic looks in proportion. Once they are in they look smaller. I freak out because they looked big on me (but then l had nugget all boobs to begin with) trust me once they are in and they drop and fluff they don't look as big. Go the 400's!
  23. None at Myer? Congratulations by the way, very happy for you! X Hoe are you feeling?
  24. Hi, l have the exact same stats as you but l was a b cup. I had a BL (l was borderline so l decided to do it rather than the possibility of not being happy) and BA 300cc. Most bras l am a D, some a DD. They look like they are around a C in my opinion depending on what l am wearing though. If l had my time over l would go bigger but l have no regrets and my surgeon did what l wanted at the time. Good luck 😊
