  1. Just saw on TCI Facebook page they're opening a clinic on the Gold Coast soon
  2. I only started wearing bras last week and so far I bought the Bonds wirefree maternity bra which is really comfy and doesn't irritate my incisions. i tried the BnT contour bra but it didn't feel like it sat well on my body and I also tried to Chloe & Lola wire free one but the largest size was too small I'm also on the hunt for a good sports bra!
  3. I feel like mine are heavy when I'm really cold! I don't know if it's just me
  4. Thanks for sharing this with us! They look amazing and really natural

So exciting Honey Bunch! Hopefully time doesn't go too slow for you leading up to Wednesday Just a little update from me since I haven't been on here in a while. I'm 3 weeks post op today (my how time flies), took off my steri strips last night in the shower and as I was drying the area saw stitches poking out of my incisions. Called up TCI this morning and they have been really accommodating and fantastic - I was able to get in and see the post-op nurse on really short notice. They disinfected my incisions and trimmed the stitches that were poking out and I've got a new bandage on my right until this Friday as my incision area was irritated. I'll be going back on Friday for another check up to see how it's healing. Kinda scary but I guess I'm one of those girls that is more prone to spitting stitches. Hope everyone else is having a smooth recovery!

I deleted all my before pics as soon as I sent them over to TCI - haven't taken any after pics myself yet, but the nurse did take some at my 1 week post op appointment. I'm very camera shy!

Hi kathmartin, I'm doing better thanks! I think it does get easier everyday, it's definitely a lot easier to get in and out of bed by myself now. I still don't feel totally in love with them though (I got 385 cc on my left and 415 cc on my right) I just worry I wasted my time and money and there isn't a noticeable difference.. It's great to hear your recovery is going so well

I'm feeling better, thanks for asking - I just can't wait for them to drop like everyone else, and I'm still quite numb on my left side. My nipples weren't as sensitive today which was nice hah I think it might only be when it's cold or I overexert myself. And YES I am still so bloated and look like I'm about to pop out a baby. I thought I was the only one but it's nice to know I'm not alone Oh my gosh I hope you are alright, I think it's so hard to know what to expect as everyone deals with things differently and recovers differently. I get headaches in the morning sometimes when I wake up, maybe it's the strain of sleeping upright? But then when I get up and out of bed the headache disappears straight away. I also had bad back pain the first few days sleeping upright and now I find I get it when I'm sitting in a chair with little/no back support. It does feel uncomfortable to try and straighten out my back/chest coz I'm scared the stitches will burst the struggles. Going back to work next week.. Not sure how I feel about that! I love the comfort of being able to be at home.

Welcome to all the new ladies Been a while since I've posted in here so thought I'd jump back on to see what I've missed out on! First of all congrats to all the ladies that have had their procedures so far and great to hear everyone's experiences! Update from me - yesterday I went to my 1 week appointment (technically I was 9 days post-op but this was the earliest they could get me in and we also had a public holiday in NSW on Monday). Nurse removed my waterproof bandages and cleaned the incision site and applied new steri strips. She said I looked like I was healing well which is good. Today my nipples have been so sore it's crazy!! But I've seen topics on this forum explaining that it's normal. I'm not sure if it was just me but I felt like I was having quite a hard time in my first week post-op. I was afraid to come on here and post as I know there are so many of you still awaiting your surgery and I didn't want to scare anyone! Honestly I had days when I woke up and wondered why did I put myself through all of this and if it was all worth it. I think coz I'm still healing but I kinda felt sad I wasn't immediately in love with them. Anyway, goodluck to the rest of you ladies with your upcoming surgery!

Good luck Juneboobies :) can't wait to hear all about it!
  11. Thanks for sharing! I'm currently 3 days post op and feel like the recovery is going slow! I feel like mine are sitting like torpedoes but it's definitely great to see how much they will change!

Galpal28 thank you it's definitely a challenge! I guess they look like torpedoes at the moment haha best way I can describe it! It's kinda funny! Recovery feels so long even though it's only been 2 days lol. I'm so impatient!!

Welcome BabyA! You're going to love Dr Lee! I just had my surgery with him 2 days ago Juneboobies my partner tried getting some anti nausea tablets from the chemist but they didn't recommend it due to the drugs I'm already taking so I've stopped taking the strong pain killers and am only having the AB and Panadol. The nausea has gone away thank goodness! I didn't sleep too well last night woke up with a headache but as soon as I got up it went away! I think it was a tension headache coz my back and neck is so stiff from sleeping upright. I had a peak at them yesterday and they're sitting high! But that's too be expected and I'm bruised as well. Can't wait til they start dropping!!

Sucks about the news stephy22 but kudos to Dr Kwok for being honest with you and putting your health first! Just wanted to let everyone know I'm well and alive! The meds have been making me feel really nauseous which isn't great but the nurses said its common, not everyone takes it well! I've mainly been sleeping all day coz I can't stand being awake with the nauseous feeling (I also don't travel well coz I get motion sickness). Haven't had a chance to look at them yet but will keep everyone updated!
