Thanks for the reply, I will be sending off an email tonight to Dr T and will be seeing my surgeon for the 12m check up. When I'm there I will discuss the need for a revision and lift but basically for my own knowledge. I will also be grabbing my patient profile so I can send it on to the surgeons I am hoping to consult with.
It it just sucks because if I knew I would have needed this I would have paid the extra money and gone elsewhere. But Dr R made out as if he knew what he was doing. He scored the breast tissue already I believe.

    Hey
i had my surgery March 11th and had 560cc HP unders.
Safe to say it was taken me until Saturday morning just gone to even like what was done. Because I was mildly tuberous, I had no lower pole. It's slowly coming but my boobs looked horrendous prior.
I looked at my pre op images and I have come a long way, what I keep telling myself is because I didn't have "normal" boobs, I wouldn't get "normal" results. Ie: the fake look I wanted.
But anything is better than nothing!
The only thing I can fault Dr R on is his after care. He's just too busy to make you feel like he cares. One of my incisions started to open up... He had a quick glance and said "it will be fine" and left the room. With that, I was so disappointed. I have also been in contact with other girls who haven't had great after care and they're having serious wound break down issues.
Hes a great surgeon and does his job well, but he just needs to slow down and remember girls are people too. Not just cash cows.
    Good luck with your surgery!

I went offline and away from anything to do with BA because I had an overwhelming sense of disappointment. Disappointed at my results. The size. The shape etc but I've come to realise that ANYTHING is better than I what I originally had so I'm happy.
I'm 8 weeks post op and this morning was the first morning I have woken up and said, I like them.
Im hoping that everyone else is healing well and happy with their results x

    Hey Harper,
I'm sorry to hear they aren't perfect but as long as you're happy with them and aware of future surgeries, that's all you can hope for.
I already know who I want to do my revision, because I do want to go bigger and am prepared to undergo a mastopexy. The herniation of my nipples is a bit more noticeable now than what it was pre surgery.
Hope you continue to heal well and they even up a bit more with time x

I had my surgery with Dr R in March.
Just be prepared that he isn't warm, or friendly. He's very businesslike and serious.
He will ask you what looks you want, what size bra you want to wear, whether you want under or over etc.
i got 560cc HP unders. He usually does unders and not often does them that large. I really pushed for a big size because I wanted big boobs. I was also mildly tuberous. If I wasn't, I would have pushed for more cc and xhp for my desired look
I wrote down a whole page of questions but he answered most of those as he spoke
    good luck!

    Hi Rhiannon
Thanks for sharing your honest feelings.
As you know I had the opposite than everyone else in the March thread ie. explant (and lift). I have very mixed feelings at the moment. I am so happy to have my implants removed - it has given me a new lease of life and changed everything for the positive. I am loving having small boobies. However, I am a bit disappointed in the appearance. The chances are I will need some minor revisions down the track to tidy up my cleavage and even out the symmetry. My originally bigger breast is now my smallest (I think he over estimated when evening them up). But, like you I am trying to be thankful for what I have because they are better than what I had (in my opinion).
I hope you can keep learning to love your new boobs x

Patterns will be good and distracting and will work well I think, if anything I recon people will think you have lost weight which you kinda have 😉..
I'm more concerned about the wardsman and 1 particular nurse who has been dying to know why I have been away and I feel selfish in getting a BA and didn't want her to know as she has had breast cancer. Anyway thankyou I'm sure it's nothing I can't handle anyway ☺️.

What size implants did you have? I think it will depend on the clothing you wear, if you used to wear tight fitted tops and go back to wearing them they will prob notice, be careful cause they may think you have had a mastectomy and that could be awkward 😳😳. If you go on to wearing padded bras initially then I don't think people will notice. My boobs look like they do in a padded bra and when I went out for drinks the other night no one even noticed until the one girl who did know blurted it out which was awkward as it was in front of work colleagues and one of the Drs was asking me sooooo many questions. I wear scrubs to work which are loose but I think my boobs are noticeable in it so not looking forward to Tomoz, I work with so many gossipers and sticky beaks lol

Day 7 I felt great, day 8 even better and have felt wonderful ever since. Got the all clear on day 7 to change sleeping position so I think that helped. I also have 4 children and hubby had to go back to work so I had no choice but to get up and get active. I'm now day 11 and heading back to work Tomoz, I've already had a little night out with the girls (work colleagues and boobies) which helped me feel more human. I do however think I've got some brain fog from the GA as I'm extremely forgetful and anyone who knows me knows I usually forget nothing so hoping that improves with time.
Here's a little snap of me having fun posing with my new assets!!

@Summer My implants were 14 years old, 425cc. I had had a good innings with them ie. no rupture, cc or complications. I was 'over' them years ago in terms of lifestyle, comfort, clothing, etc. It was time to either get them out or replace them due to age - and I just wanted them out. Very happy with my decision. Ready to have little boobies again

Although watching you all get your beautiful boobies is lovely. Reminds me of how excited I was getting mine. I did have fun with them!

    Hello girls!
Because I can't sleep right now (not used to sleeping on the couch) I thought I'd pop in and let those who want to know, that I had my BA yesterday at about 1130am. They were running late but I didn't mind because all the nurses at Gaythorne day hospital were absolutely lovely. I had a nurse called Emily who looked after me and she was a crack up, and could laugh at my jokes with her. The only thing I an complain about, is how bloody hungry I was! I eat a fair bit each day spread out into 5-6 meals so I would have eaten two meals and up to my third when I went in...
I met with Dr Cameron who was my "knock her out" doctor, he was so lovely. Calming and reassuring, I told him I'm not great with needles and he said neither was he 😂 That's why he gives them and doesn't take them.
Dr R came in and marked me up, he's so professional so comes across a little too business like, but I didn't mind. I did manage to make a bit of convo with him. He came in, confirmed my details and said "okay, so today we are going.... Big... Do you want the 520 or 560s?" I said 560s without hesitation. He took his photos, drew on me and left.
when I went into theatre, they had a few issues finding my veins. Mostly because I was dehydrated and anxious. But Dr Cameron's assistant Robert (who is Irish and absolutely lovely) let me squeeze his hand, maybe a little too tightly.
Next thing I know I have a mask on, counting my breaths andddd I'm out 😂
Wake up in recovery shaking like mad but that's normal, I didn't cry like I have done before because I was too focused on their clocks being all three different times 😂 I just felt tight and heavy on the chest, no pain. Once I settled down shaking they gave me water which was a god send.
They let my partner come and sit with me while I woke up a bit more and ate something. They all commented on how sweet he was because he had been sitting in the waiting room for most of it reading his book. Again, we had the nurses laughing cracking jokes and making the time pass
Because we had about 1 hr 30m drive home (Friday traffic) I asked if I could potentially have an Endone. They said that would be no problem. I think pain level was a 2/10 at the time so this knocked it on the head really quickly.
I have been really good with taking the pain meds every 6 hours and haven't really experienced what I would consider pain just yet. It just feels like I've got a 20kg plate on my chest.
The hardest part for me has been not using my arms to reposition or get myself up. Other than that I haven't found anything too difficult, I can turn on taps, flush the toilet, open the fridge, open sealed water bottles. Tearing things open is a bit tricky but I just do it slowly.
Icing is a life saver! It makes the tightness ease off and feels really good!
I had a bit of a sneaky peek under my shirt and was like... They're not very big 😂 But I know right now they're sitting high and squished under my pecs, so I need to be patient. Even if they don't end up looking how I wanted them too, anything is better than what I had! I can always go bigger with my next revision which will be after kids (thinking positive here, nothing will go wrong!)
I will put a few pics under this thread so you can see but the after pics are a bit average
    Bralette is pre-op
Black crop and dark photos is post-op
I got up just before to go to the loo and had a look, they look much bigger standing up, they're a funny shape in this bra but I was also mildly tuberous. I didn't have a lift or mastopexy as I wasn't classified as "severe" enough, but I'm aware the next BA may require a lift and/or Mastopexy.
I'll probably just keep updating here. My friend is coming over today to keep my company while my fiancé goes the the 4wd show with a mate haha. Least he won't be here to nah me about ice packs and sitting up straight and slumping my shoulders 😂 But she's a nurse so I may not get a break lol
