  1. Really hope my photos prove that overseas surgeries will not only save you a lot of money, but can give you results just as good if not better! Cannot rave enough about Dr. Piyapas and his team at Bangkok Hospital Phuket. xx

  2. My story is this... I've always loved boobs, i find them sexy and so feminine! When i was just 5 i remember jumping up and down in front of the bathroom mirror and asking my mum "are they moving yet? Can i buy my first bra now?", and when i did get my first bra (i still had no boobs at this point) i loved wearing it, it made me feel so grown up! By the age of 16 i came to the sad realisation that i was forever doomed to have small boobs thanks to my asian genes! I was a 10B and not getting any bigger. I think it was a year later that i started looking into BA's, looking at different results, what the procedure entailed, costs etc. At this point i had zero dollars so never thought it to be an option in the near future. I never hated my breasts pre op but at 22 i decided i was going to start saving for a BA, i wanted to enjoy and love my body in its prime years and i knew if i was going to get a BA i would rather it sooner while i was still young rather than when i became older. I found the surgeon i wanted "Dr. Bruce Fox" (Melbourne Dr.) whose rates go down in spring to around $9500 for a BA. About 6 months later i relocated to Perth to be with my boyfriend - it was in Perth that i found out about Bangkok Hospital in Phuket. A friend i made had had her breasts done there, it was the first time i had ever felt fake breasts and i was in awe! They felt so soft and natural! She couldn't rave enough about the care they had given her, and stated she hated the bad stigma overseas surgeries are given. She had booked through a third party company "Restored Beauty Getaways" who organised everything for her but with a fee. I decided to do my research about her hospital and "RBG". Initially i was planning to go through "RBG" however thought i would try book directly through the hospital first. I had already found the surgeon i wanted (Dr. Piyapas), so filled out an online form and waited for them to get back to me. I heard back within 24 hours!!! Anyways long story short - i booked my surgery date through the hospital instead of a third party which saved me about $1500 (booking my own flights and access was cheaper to do myself as well). The surgery cost $4200 - which included: Surgery, pre op appointments, post op appointments, pre op tests, 1 nights stay in hospital, and transfer to and from hospital for all appointments as well as pick up and drop off to airport. On top of that i spend $450 on return flights and $450 on 10 nights accommodation. I cannot tell you enough how amazing the care was. The nurses are absolutely lovely and there to help you so quickly, the hospital is....splendid. Never been in such a nice hospital before, it was more like a resort. Dr. Piyapas really knows his *****, he is on the American Board of Plastic Surgery, travels to Perth and around the world for conferences, and does 3-5 surgeries a day! The day after i arrived was my pre op appointment, tests and also day or surgery (it's all very rushed as it is an overseas surgery) however there are no upfront hospital fees, and if you decide not to go through with it, the only cost you have to pay if for the test that are done prior to surgery (adding up to less than $100). I initially went into my consult wanting anatomical implants - i was all for the natural look. I didn't want rounded melon i wanted teardrop. I told Piyapas i wanted to be a medium to large C cup and then showed him photos of what i wanted exactly (First note: its hard to tell your surgeon to make you a cup size, as its hard for them to put in exactly that amount to get you to your wanted size, instead find photos of the size you want on your body and show your surgeon, it easier to get results you want that way!) Piyapas advised me against anatomical, he showed me the implant and let me feel it against a round, it was MUCH firmer with a textured shell, he said the cons didn't outweigh the pros with anatomical, and also promised me he believed he would be capable of achieving the look i wanted with round. I was skeptical but i agreed. Note: Listen to your surgeon, they really know what they're doing! When i woke up from surgery i was so groggy, it took me a good 4 hours of being in and out of sleep to finally wake up properly. I woke up in barely any pain, just slight burning where the incisions were, but that went away within half an hour (i had a drip in my arm which administered pain medication). I felt nausea from the medication twice and as soon as i said so, my partner would ring the buzzer for the nurse to come who would instantly administer pain medication - it literally took affect within 30 seconds and i felt fine. I had drains in me which made me cautious to move to much, but had icepacks placed where the drains entered under my breasts that felt really soothing. I was discharged the next day, Piyapas came to see me and tell me how surgery went and how i should care for them until my next appointment. He then took the drains out of me - this was super weird and uncomfortable, i had read about it before so knew to put on a strong face, it doesn't hurt exactly...its just...weird! But only takes 5 seconds each drain! The first two days i was really sleepy, but by day three i was wondering the streets. Day four was my follow up and revealing. Oh my god...i knew they would look weird..but seeing that on my own body!! They weren't exactly high placed, they already had a nice natural slope, but they were to point and veiny. I was actually quite upset once i'd gotten back to the hotel, i thought i'd made a massive mistake. (Piyapas uses a sealing glue instead of stitches, much nicer in my opinion!) Post op day 9 was my final check up appointment Piyapas showed me how to massage my breasts and gave me further post op care, he also said to check in with a GP back home in a couple of weeks just to make sure the incisions were healing fine! The first 6 weeks there is massive change in your breasts these were my favourite weeks! I have since pretty much forgotten that I've even had a BA, i can do everything as i use to - sleep on my tummy, lift heavy things etc and i don't even realise they are there. They're so soft now as well! I literally had the best experience, i would jump on a plane and do it all over the reason i never wrote my story on here was because i found a sub group on instagram where girls make boob accounts and post their questions or stories to help other girls, i found it much easier to communicate through that so made my own private boob account, however I've recently deactivated it (but while i had it four girls who liked my breasts booked in with my surgeon, and i helped other girls with their questions across the globe). If you're considering getting it done for you and you really want it, i can't recommend it enough. But only if you really want it! I actually freaked out a week before i was due to fly to Thailand and nearly backed out, but i knew it was just nerves and that if i did back out i would regret it and just rebook in the future. xx GKerr

I stumbled across instgram accounts known as "boobstagram" where girls share their journeys and help each other, I've contiunied using my boobstagram as I found it easier to access than this forum, if you have instgram you're welcome to add me so you can see my results just let me know x
  7. Hey girls, just needing to be informed. Is it possible to get anatomical implants via transaxillary incision? Or are they only possible through inframammary incision due to the shape needing to be placed precisely? I want a natural look and anatomical seem to be the best for this, however I'm half asian a scar like no tomorrow so would prefer to have transaxillary to better hide the scars. Thanks
  8. Thanks Blue! Love hearing positive comments about Dr. Piyapas! Will write another post after op and will post photos as soon as i can!
  9. Hey misspiggy!! I fly to thai this sunday and I'm booked in for surgery on the 5th! So close now! Currently ill with a chest infection...fingers crossed it clears soon.
  10. Hey squiddy! Im booked into BHP with Dr Piyapas for the 5th of august, just curious with the conversion rate, what was it when you did it yourself as opposed to going to the hospital? Hope you are recovering well!! Gkerr
  11. Hey Molly, Im really surprised at the price quoted by Dr. Piyapas, i booked him directly through BHP and was quoted 140,000THB (which is more expensive than usual only because i wad opting for endoscopic surgery). Regards G
  12. Have looked into it for quite sometime now. Will have a thorough report of my experience posted as well as pictures taken before, after, and progress photos!
  13. Hi guys, i've recently booked myself in to have a breast augmentation in Thailand at Bangkok hospital Phuket, a lot of people are skeptical about going o/s to have surgery done so (granted everything goes well for me) i hope to sway people's opinions and raise their confidence in o/s surgery. I've recently turned 23, i am 166cm tall, weigh 52kg and i am currently a 10B. I've wanted to have boobs from the age of 5, and when they never came, i decided it was time to save so i could change my lemons to melons - I'm actually only planning on going to a large C, but i love using that term. Originally from Melbourne, I've now been living in Perth for 6 months. I was planning on flying back to Melbourne and having work done by Dr. Bruce Fox, he specialises in transaxillary incisions, which is my preference as I'm half asian and scar terribly easy. However, since moving to Perth i have met many girls my age who have had breast augmentations ( it seems to be quite the norm here ), many of these girls went to Thailand for their procedure. Overseas surgery always made me feel uneasy, the price was always attractive but my knowledge of surgeons and hospitals there was very poor. I've since strongly changed my thoughts on that. Being able to speak to someone who has gone and done it themselves made me feel much more confident, all i needed was a starting point, the name of a hospital so i knew where to start researching. Long story short, i was planning on going through Restored Beauty Getaways, but instead booked it all myself saving around $1000. I contacted Bangkok hospital Phuket directly, they resounded always within a couple of hours. I did my own research into the Doctor's there and chose Dr. Piyapas as my own surgeon, nearly all reviews on breast augmentation from BHP spoke of him as well as Dr. Witoon. The hospital I've been told is wonderful and the rooms you stay in are of 4-5 star quality, the hospital organises transfer to and from airport, hotel and surgery. After booking my surgery ( which isn't paid for until you're actually there) i just needed to book flights for myself and my partner, as well as accommodation. All up the whole trip is costing me... Breast Aug: $4612 (endoscopic transaxillary cost $400 more) Flights: $428 Accom: $440 (for 10 days) Travel insurance: $110 Total $5590 People feel more comfortable going through companies like RBG, however its really so easy to book it all yourself, i was quoted $6500 by them, so really I'm saving a bit of money. I used RGB as a starting point, from their site i found out a lot about different accommodation and the doctors. Below are the details of what I'm hoping to have.. Size: 34C Implant shape: Round Implant Texture: Smooth Implant Filling: Gel Profile: Moderate to Moderate plus Upper pole fullness: Mild to moderate Placement: Submuscular Incision: Transaxillary endoscopic incision Im really looking for as natural a look as possible, i want them to be bottom heavy and not up in my face. Will post again closer to the date of my surgery. Also will happily post photos pre op and post op at a later date
  14. Re on taking out health insurance before you left...be careful, a friend who had an accident in Thailand and had to be air lifted back home wasn't covered by their aus health insurance company as the incident occurred in another country.
  15. Hey Rach! Ive booked myself in for a breast aug at BHP, i originally was going to go through Restored Beauty Getaways, however found it much cheaper and so simple to book myself, i just emailed the hospital and they responded straight away which instantly put me at ease. Really up to you whether you feel comfortable and confident booking accom, surgery and flights yourself, or if you want it all just done for you. May as well look into it yourself, I'm saving around $1000 booking it myself xx
