Win reacted to Watergirl in Long post: very anxious about upcoming BA, not sure whether to go ahead or cancel
I have just booked in for an explant after having a revision 2 months ago due to movement. I first got implants last May. It's not worth it. I've been feeling tingling all through my body and light headed and I cant think properly. I wish I had looked further into breast implant illness before I went ahead. It is so wrong that surgeons don't tell you the risks. They tell you silicone is inert, but they dont tell you it is heavy metals that make the silicone cohesive and that when they remove peoples implants after less than 10 years they are seeping. People have silicone in their lymph nodes. Please join a bii facebook group and see how many people have similar symptoms and how most are resolved after implant removal. This was an almost $30K mistake for me!! I hope I can save someone else from it. I was the same as you, unhappy with my small empty breasts after breastfeeding.

18 also. If she was tuberous like I was and a surgeon said it was safe to fix them at 17 I would sign for that. I would also be more than happy to pay for them so that she wouldn't have to feel the way that I did for so many years.
If she just wanted them bigger thats fine too. I wouldn't only want to help her if she was tuberous I think all reasons for wanting a BA are are valid. The only thing that I would expect her to do is her own RESEARCH & fully understand everything about it like I did before I made the decision.

Oooh I had a quick look in Furla a few weeks ago and a few caught my eye but I was with the kids & hubby so I couldn't have a good drool like I usually would have. Good to hear they are good quality.... I bought a Michael Kors one it was about $400 and a really soft leather it was trashed in 6 months so I've been really weary of spending much on a bag again.
I had my heart set on just saving for a Chanel and getting it for my 40th but the one I want is almost $7000 & the other one I love is $5500 OMFG I wish I was rich lol & I want a YSL shoulder bag too maybe thats a compromise for the Chanel for my birthday!!! Like thats considered saving money right????
    Thanks for your help Xx

Win got a reaction from Kenzo in botox vs dysport for crows feet and under eye lines
I see a nurse for my botox & she's unbelievable so I don't believe you need to see a doctor to get great results from botox. You need to see someone who has had proper training & experience. Ask your injector questions! Nurses that are involved in the cosmetic industry often have a great eye for beauty. Go by word of mouth, although I found it hard to find info on great injectors because lots of people still don't want to own up to the fact that they have work done.
I had a consult with a PS for botox & the initial consultation is with him to assess facial features but he gets his nurse to inject the product as she is doing it day in day out while he is busy operating.
Either way doctor or nurse just do your research. Bad filler can be dissolved bad botox lasts months!!

    Wow so much incorrect information
1 UNIT of Botox is equivalent to 2.5 UNITS of Dysport. Toxins are measured in units not mls.
Dysport isn't weaker and works really well for some actually better then Botox. The main difference between the 2 is that Dysport spreads further. This actually works in favour of some areas such as crows feet however needs careful injecting in areas such as frown and forehead (to avoid a ptosis- brow drop)
You can't water down Botox, a unit is s unit. If someone is adding more saline to the product it will just spread further. Often in areas you want it to spread (underarms for hyperhidrosis- sweating) it is clinically indicated to add more saline as it's a bigger area to cover. This doesn't water down or affect the efficacy of the product.
Toxins DO NOT have to sting to work. If you mix with normal saline (NS) it will sting but recently the industry moving towards using preserved normal saline (PNS). The difference here is the addition of benzyl alcohol that means it DOESNT sting and the product has bacteriostatic effect. Most up to date clinics (including Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists) use PNS for both patient comfort and it's bacteriostatic effect although using NS is also ok but moreso an old school method of reconstituting Toxins.
As of October 2016 the Medical Board brought a lot of new laws in regards to the Cosmetic industry. One of these included that it is now only accepted that patients see a doctor prior to treatment. Online and video chat is an accepted method.  Nurses operating under a doctor who is not physically on premises are legally allowed to communicate though video call. Only those clinics who you don't see a doctor on first visit (either in person or video) are acting illegally and should be avoided. Again more wrong information.
Doctor or Nurse do you research. During the recent submissions to the Medical Board for the new cosmetic laws there were hundreds of people write and and say the Nurses were the best and most competent practitioner for injectables. You can find these online.
Im appalled at the amount of false, completely inaccurate and potential damaging information in this post and pretty much all of it wasn't true.
Good luck Lauren, both Botox or Dysport may work for you see someone recommended who will assess you and discuss the pros and cons in your consultation.

My answer would be to go with who would do the best job. It is great that you are shopping around but remember too that this is surgery and you don't want to go with the cheapest just to save $$. This is a long term investment in you.

Everyone has been fine with it.  My parents weren't so keen with me getting my first set but after that they saw it didn't really change me or anything like that.  They think I am crazy for wanting them so big but they respected my decision.  The only negative has been overhearing comments from strangers but ofcourse that doesn't really matter given I don't even know them!
