  1. some of you lovely ladies might be able to offer some advice: I had a Breast Lift in May 2015 & am really happy with the results - my breasts are much perkier. However, the last couple of months, i feel like i have lost some upper pole fullness & they feel quite deflated, which is making my areola appear higher on my breast & poke out of bras etc.. I also feel like my areolas are too large for my current breast size. I had a consultation with my Surgeon yesterday & he is recommending either a lift revision which will tighten things up and reduce areola size. Or The above with small 200cc breast implants under muscle to give upper pole fullness.. I would absolutely love to hear from anyone who has had a BA post lift.. or any advice Thanks in advance xx

  3. Hey just from another perspective, I had a BL without implants almost 4 weeks ago. I was the same size as you before surgery and very deflated. I was constantly toying with the idea of having implants too and found it really hard to make a decision. In the end, I decided to go without so i didn't have foreign objects in my body and didn't have to worry about future complications not only for a BL but for a BA too. I know lots of people have both and they look fantastic but for me personally at the moment I am more than happy with the decision I made. It's too early to tell what the final result will be and my surgeon initially put my breasts higher to take into account the natural drop they would make. I love them so much. At first they were much bigger than before because of the swelling but right now they are still looking bigger than before because they are higher and fuller looking. The shape is fantastic even without the implant. Feel free to add me if you want to see pics You'll come to a decision in the end that you're happy with after many hours of research I'm sure
  4. Hey, Hopefully the forum is offering some sort of help for you after reading other people's experiences. I havent had a reduction but I have had a lift so the incisions/techniques are very similar. I ended up having the full anchor lift and am very impressed with the results so far. I've written my whole experience in the surgery stories section if it will help you in any way because I'm pretty sure the op and recovery are similar. Although I have heard that with re reduction it can be a more painful recovery due to the removal of breast tissue - not just skin like the lift. Sounds like you've been doing your research though. There are plenty of people on here that have had reductions who I'm sure will be able to offer you much more useful advice than I can but if you want to send me a Friend request I'm more than happy for you to have a look at the pictures of my scars/results. Good luck

    Lift scars

Ahhhh this is totally different - he has given me a roll of micropore tape but told me to start using this after 2 weeks - thinking about it though i am still confused how i am meant to fit this around the Bactroban ointment which i am applying 4 x per day for 4 weeks.. i know i'm not in a position to question my PS healing techniques but my sites just feel a bit vulnerable at the moment considering I'm only day 8 post op and they have nothing on hmm..
  6. Ahhhhhhh! I can barely sleep my incision sites are so itchy! I know this is part of the healing process but seriously I don't know what to do with myself its that irritable! This has been way worse than any pain has for me since my BL. Does/did anyone have this to the same extent? It's just I've not read much about it on here. I'm taking Cetirizine daily to try and help and I'm applying Baclofen cream regularly. By the way everything looks normal - there's no redness, swelling etc.. Any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks Danni x
  7. All my dressings have started to come off today post salt bathing & regular Bactroban applying. It's all a bit scary when you see all your sutures and incision sites properly for the first time isn't it! When I saw them today, I was pretty shocked - I think partly because they're covered with steristrips for a while which masks the severity of the actual scars underneath. Anyway I'm over it now. Just can't stop that itchy feeling - it's driving me crazy and nothing seems to work.. Any advice much appreciated!!! X

    Lift scars

Dani when did all your original dressings come off? I've had steri strips on all my incisions and I was told to start having warm salt baths after day 5 when I saw my PS to start soaking off the dressings. Most of the steri strips are off now apart from a few. So some of the sites have nothing on them at all.. I'm continuing to apply Bactroban gel 4x per day. What did you do? X
  9. Yes had my BL in Brisbane, saw my surgeon yesterday - he's told me to keep applying Bactroban for 4 weeks 4 x a day. My steristrips are starting to fall off now, I will have a look at getting some off the silicone tape you mentioned, have you got pictures of your scars?
  10. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr David Chin.. What an absolutely fantastic Plastic Surgeon. From the very beginning he has been honest, easy to talk to and listened to exactly what I wanted from my breast surgery. I am so happy that I chose him to be my PS and if anyone is looking for someone in Brisbane, go and have a consultation with him. I had several consultations and I knew as soon as I met Dr Chin he would do my surgery.. I am absolutely over the moon with my results and my pre & post op care
  11. Wow you poor thing having to go through all of that! so true though about trusting your gut instinct & getting it checked out.. hope you're making a full recovery & have some bloody good boobs to show for it looks like you do!!! xx
  12. They seem to be advertised bloody everywhere don't they!! i had a little look into them a while ago after a friend started taking them but just looked like a total money making scam.. who knows!
  13. Congratulations! So lovely to hear other people's stories too & they help so many people. Sounds like a great experience. Enjoy the new boobies x
  14. Hey Dubdee, I had the exact same decision to make as you not long ago. It took me a while to figure out whether i wanted just a lift or implants too. I was a D cup & was worried about losing too much size and having small boobs. I have written pretty much my whole story in the surgical stories section today if it will help you at all: In the end i decided what i wanted more than anything was perky boobs and smaller areolas and i wasn't too much concerned whether they were slightly smaller. I am now 5 days post op and absolutely over the moon with my decision - if you send me a friend request you can have a look at my pics and see where i am at. My surgeon only removed skin, no breast tissue & of course that will take away some weight but i was told they will still look the same in a bra. Anyway it is a total individual decision and once you have had your consultations & a lot of time to research, you will end up making the right decision for you Good luck! Danni x
  15. Thank you!! not long til yours now!! X
