  1. Hi @MILF$ Wow yours look fabulous!!! Here are mine at 4 weeks PO in a bikini as I was on holiday! I will take some uodated ones tomorrow at 5 weeks PO...
  2. Hi @MILF$ Thanks for the message. They are looking heaps better! I actually feel really good now with no pain or issues. They are much closer together (which is why I had the revision) and the projection is good. I am 5 weeks PO tomorrow. Roll on next week when I can remove the tape and start wearing pretty bras!! How ow are you going? X
  3. I had the white tapes for 2 weeks (replaced after a week) now I have a roll of brown tape which I have been given to replace every week for the next 4 weeks. After that's I can start using the silicon gel or bio oil... My nurse said the brown tape is to ensure the scars 'glue' neatly together to minimise them. She said they are healing great but I'm yet to see as I won't change the tape until Wednesday.... @Archie29 how's things with you Hun? Any further news.....
  4. Oh wow! That's a surprise as you're really so early in your recovery... fingers crossed they settle down so you don't have to go through it again. Mine are healing totally different to each other! Righty is still swollen, very bruised and hard (but not sore) all down the side of the pocket from the internal trauma whereas lefty isn't swollen or bruised but is really sore down the side!!!! The PS is happy with how they're looking and I don't go back now for 6wks unless I have any concerns before.. Fingers crossed they settle to be the same πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
  5. Hi @Sylve I too have had a revision. My PS has closed my pockets up at the sides, brought them in opening it up further towards my sternum to try and bring my boobs together as they were so far apart. I barely changed cc size of implant but changed make and texture so not anticipating them being any bigger. At this stage (11DPO) I still have a fair bit of swelling to my right side, accompanied by a dark bruise and also firmness to the side (presuming where the stitches are from the outside pocket) The left side has no bruising or firmness but is sore to the touch! It's funny how both sides are healing totally different but I suppose that's usual with it being 2 seperate operations so to speak! I am seeing my PS again on Wednesday and have spoken to his nurse today who says it all sounds fine so I hope he agrees! Hope you're doing well now?
  6. Hey! Yeah I too have different sized boobs at the mo! I'm 10DPO, and like you it's my right that's bigger and more swollen. In fact it's terribly bruised too. Lefty pretty much looks normal haha!! I don't carry any kids but as it's my most dominant side I am thinking maybe the muscle is just clamping on a bit tighter that side or I'm not resting it as much as I should be 😬 I see my surgeon again on Wednesday so will see what he says then..... Yours do look great tho πŸ‘πŸ» @Sylve you look amazing!!!!!
  7. Thanks @Summerholiday that's comforting to hear!! I still have a fair bit if bruising on the one side but taking arnica now and using cream so hope it fades quickly!! Thanks @torzxx it sure is! Yes I'm feeling much better now. Just need to stop analysing them haha! Boy my nipples are sore today!!!! Just another step along the recovery ladder 😝 Hahaha hmmmm quite difficultly πŸ™Š Wow they look fab @MJess 😍 sorry I'm quite new and don't know your background but what implants did you get??
  8. @XChrisbeeX @torzxx @Summerholiday Hi ladies, thanks for your replies! Sorry I've not been on to keep you updated. I had a call from my doctors nurse on Monday, which was good to chat to her and be reassured that my feelings were 'normal' however after the anxieties about the haematoma I called them again on Tuesday arvo to make sure I had no other symptoms I should be worried about. Again she said that from my explanation it was unlikely and reassured me that the bruising is normal and can be worse in some people (I do actually bruise really easily in general!) Anyway, I went for my post op appt yesterday and my PS and his nurse were amazing with me, making me feel a lot happier and much more comfortable about my different boobs! My PS told me in great details exactly what he had done to rectify the issues I had with the previous implants and explained that the newer implant was much better than the older one I had 2 years ago.. Everything he has done is basically what I'd asked and I was happy with that. I have been told to wear a tighter fitting bra to help with the pockets that were closed up at the sides and he had shifted them closer together. Which makes total sense! They said the difference in swelling is totally normal and in fact it wasn't 'as' bad as it has been (typically!!). The implant is just sitting a bit higher on my right and most dominant side where as lefty has settled into the pocket quite quickly. The bruising is a mystery as there wasn't anything specific he had noted on my op notes to give reason to why that side has bruised so badly compared to the other side which has nothing!!! They are not worried about it being a haematoma tho so that's a relief! I have to just ice it and be patient!!! Not, my forte I might add haha!! Anyway, I feel a bit happier now and have to go back next Wednesday for the dressing to be changed so unless anything drastic happens I'll await til then to speak to them. I really don't want to be some paranoid annoying patient haha!!! On another note I feel much happier today, I have some soreness but it's not terrible enough to take any painkillers so I think a lot of the anxiety I have had is all part and parcel of the recovery cycle!! Onwards and upwards hey πŸ˜ƒ I hope everyone else is well and recovering quickly? ☺️☺️
  9. Hey, hmmm yeah they weren't the same to start off with and that was one of the reasons for the revision. The lefty sat different and had a bit of extra excess skin so a lip formed underneath and it was decided that this would be removed with the addition of new implants. I understand boobs aren't identical in anyone in general but I was kinda hoping they'd be a bit more alike after this revision. I think I may be getting day 5 blues and analysing it too much maybe. I'll await to see my PS tomorrow as I have no doubt about his professionalism and am sure he's done a great job I think I might just be expecting too much maybe? I'm on the downhill slope to 40, I've had 3 children whom I breastfed each one for a year then I've since lost a heap of weight and became a gym junky to boot!!! I don't even have any pre op pics from before as I was so disgusted with my deflated boobs but I know my surgeon has so I will ask him to show me them to see how different they were to start off with!!! The new implants I've had aren't bigger just a different make, texture and diameter so I know I won't be getting huge boobs but all I wanted was a bit of cleavage without reverting back to buying push up bras again!!!! Anyway, thank you for your reply and again yours look amazing so You must be very happy indeed πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
  10. Hello ladies, just a question to those already had their BA - did you notice a remarkable difference in your breasts post op?? I am on day 5 and mine are healing completely differently all together. My right is swollen, very bruised and hard especially in the morning whereas my left isn't barely swollen, very little bruising and quite soft! It is also the one I hear a lot of the swishing and bubble noises from!! They are both quite itchy round the sides and at the incision sites and I know that each breast is a seperate operation so to speak but it's still worrying me a bit as this was a revision op after my original implants settled themselves too far apart.. I have had completely new implants this time and my PS has closed the pockets at the sides and brought them closer together. I'm just concerned at how different they look from each other.... Thanks in advance.

  12. They look fab and are pretty much identical!!! Mine look so different at the moment, I can't wait for my follow up on Wednesday to see what the surgeon thinks....!! @MJess thanks for sharing, the video is amazing!!! Your result looks fab too πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
  13. They look great! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ Good luck! You'll be in and out in no time!
  14. Hey, basically since my original BA I have lost a bit more body fat and not been as gentle on my boobies as I should have with the chest weight sessions. I had a little bit of excess skin under one side and they sat very far apart, almost under my arm pits. I mean I like a bit of side boob but they were too far and required a good push up bra for any amount of cleavage. My doctor agreed and we decided on a revision to change the implants, close the pocket up at the side to bring them together and remove the tiny flap of skin. So far it's not been too bad a recovery. I used tramadol for night time for the first 2 nights and just panadol during the day. I've got a lot of swelling on the sides but otherwise they don't seem as swollen as they were the first time round. Probably because the pocket was already there!
