  1. After about 2 weeks you slowly start to feel normal again, however your arm movement is still limited, well mine was anyway. I wouldn't of felt confident to do any activities with my kids, i have 2 girls. This includes bike riding, throwing balls etc. You will not be able to go swimming either I do believe. Walking will be fine. Everything is still very tender at 2 weeks. Good luck with it all.

Good luck with your procedure. I was an interstate perth patient. I am nearly 6 weeks post op, Had Dr Kwok at Bondi and stayed at meriton. From here You are able to walk to TCI for the consult/day of surgery but you will Uber back - this is uncomfortable but not much choice In the matter. A heat pack may be useful, ask for extra pillows as you will need to create a pillow fort to sleep on at night. Loose clothing. Had a bra fitting today, was a barely there A cup and was fitted in a D bra, so happy. Good luck with everything ... And to add found TCI very professional, DR Kwok was great.
  3. I bought some silicone gel and silicone strips from Priceline. Good luck with everything.
  4. Best wishes for your surgery. I remember waking up in recovery and seeing some other patients wearing their uggies, I wished I had of taken mine. I just wore thongs, feet were freezing on the exit to the cab and walk back to the apartment. Defibitely loose pants and button up tops. Heat pack may be handy, I had terrible back aches. Good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  5. I would have to say yes, I'm 5 weeks and still get a tight feeling in my right breast. Especially at the end of the day. I remember having a tight chest feeling and feeling out of breath if I did a bit too much. Don't push yourself, listen to your body and test up. best wishes for a safe and speedy recovery.
  6. I have some pics up, I am a size 12/14. I was completely flat before, not even a A cup. I got 450 and 485, am nearly 5 weeks post op.
  7. The back pain is the worst, i recommend a heat pack and even a tennis ball (place on the wall and rub your back up and down) or a partner willing to massage at any time.
  8. Hope everything went well. I am similar stats to you and I got 450/485 and they are no way too huge for my frame at all. I kinda wish they were bigger now. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  9. I had mine done in Sydney 4 weeks ago at TCI. They cost $5990. You need to fly over and have accomodation for approx 3-5 nights depending on how long you stay. I paid around 7500 all up but you could probably get in down if you went on red eye flights etc. I had Dr Kwok, he was great.
  10. Good luck with everything. I had mine done nearly 4 weeks ago and also have 2 children (mine are older though). Have you got someone staying with you after your surgery for a little while?
  11. I had my BA done at TCI and on the day of your op they will ask if you want to buy another bra for $55 so that's an option and bras n things only online offer surgical bras.
  12. From memory there are 4 1 week 6 weeks 6 months and a year I think.
  13. I definitely would of been over my BMI, probably around 5kg too. I was not weighed at my consult and it was not discussed. I don't think you will have anything to worry about. good luck with it all.
  14. I also got the cc insurance, but you must make and keep your Skype appointments otherwise they can void the insurance. A nurse will contact you after surgery to organise your first appointment. Good luck with everything.
  15. Hi, so exciting as your date draws closer. I flew from perth and also had Dr Kwok. I had my surgery on Tuesday and flew home on Friday. On the Thursday (2 days later) I felt well enough to go for a walk over to the shops (it was a very slow and cautious walk though) your flight shouldn't be a problem. Things like getting your seatbelt on in the taxi etc were hard for me but that's where my partner helped. Have pics on your phone for Dr Kwok to look at, so he knows what you like, he will measure you and get you to try on the compression bra, that is where he will give you some implants to try on, it is here you will decide on your size. God luck x
