No numbness at all here. Same feeling everywhere that I had before. I have a checkup yesterday and my surgeon is really happy with how it is all healing. He said I should lose another 13% of volume due with swelling going down over the next month or so, and will have to wait till around the 3 month mark to see how the final result sits. I feeling a little too large at the moment so I was happy to hear that! So far so good :)

Thanks Katb xx good luck At Last!
  3. Same feelings here! Surgery last Wed, so hoping those feelings reduce a little soon!!
  4. Hi lovely, I'm 6 days post op with a BL and BA by Tony. My surgery went from ending to be a reduction to implants in a few weeks due to a tiny bit of weight loss. I was terrified that the implants would make me look too big as my initial reason for going to see Tony was because I felt I was too big already. Now 6 days post op I am so pleased with how natural they look. Still swollen so larger than the final result will be, but naturally shaped and a perfect for for my body. As far as caring what your partner thinks, I know how you're feeling. Even though I did this for me, his opinion and thoughts are still important to me. He loved my body before and he loves it now. Probably moreso now as he knows how unhappy I was before. Anyway, I'm dosed up on pain meds right now so I don't know if what I've written makes any sense but feel free to friend me and message me to chat more. Tony did an amazing job from start to finish.

Day 6 post op here. Recovery progress was altered by a family emergency in hospital which led me to be there for 2 days all day waiting and saying our final goodbyes. The constant standing and moving at the hospital and also the stress of it all increased my pain quite a bit, and being away from home meant I skipped a lot of my meds. So under my surgeons care I'm back on regular edone, panadeine and voltaren. The pain is muscular more than anything but it has been pretty bad. The actual surgical sites look normal and are healing well. Today it's back to resting and the feeling is more tightness and swelling and less pain. Hopefully it settles more again by tomorrow. Both sides are looking full, even and natural so I'm happy with the results so far. I have my first follow up and change of dressings on Friday so I'm looking forward to hearing what my surgeon thinks of the progress in how they're settling. Good luck to all going in this week!

Day 3 post op today and I'm able to move my arms a bit more. The pain is still bad with many movements but it's ok when I'm not moving. I'm starting to notice the pain of the nipple stitches a little more now whereas before it was only the deep pain. Still on panadol, panadeine and endone when needed. Will stop the voltaren today but will keep up the coloxyl for a bit longer I think! So tired still so napping lots. I've had a little look yesterday and I'm happy with the results. Plenty of lift and upper pole fullness, and they're a great natural shape from my quick look. Too scared to look any closer!

Hey Stephy, I'm in room one, pop your head in and say hi! I was admitted at 9am and went in at 11am. Mine was a 2 hour op then 1 hour in recovery then back to my room. So far I've been struggling with the pain to make any movements at all, I can turn my head without pain. It's deep throbbing and aching, not the cut lines. We've been trying to find the most effective meds combo to combat it, and the nurses are fabulous here and determined to do just that. I'm so thankful for them and the overnight stay! I think we're onto something now as it seems to have slightly taken the edge of. I think the worst is yet to come today though. Dr Connell and Dr Russ have been beyond amazing, the nurses too. I ended up with a lift and 260cc on the left and 245cc on the right. he pain hasn't let me have a look down at all yet Hubby said they look great though so hopefully I can have a good look today. Despite the pain I am so happy to have had it done. I can't wait to see them! Wishing all you mamas heading in today the very best of everything. The process for me has been fantastic which makes me really excited and happy for you all :)

Up early, couldn't sleep a wink last night because of nerves! I'm fasting now, due to arrive at the hospital at 9am. I had my appointment with my anaesthetist yesterday which made the nerves much worse! He mentioned that the changes in my surgery have made me the main event for today, and he's had emails flying in and out all week about it 😬 He was a lovely man though and I know I'm in good hands. It'll be 2 hours under the knife then an overnight stay before heading home tomorrow morning. I just want it done already!
  10. Not a straightforward BA here either, booked in for Aug 5. But I'm having a lift (droop is quite severe after 3 children with breastfeeding so will get the rebates hopefully), while correcting asymmetry, areola reduction, and round textured implants under the muscle to fill out the upper pole. Not sure on size as he will use a sizer during surgery then use what he thinks fits best, but he's thinking around 225cc to achieve a large C / small D cup. Nervous but excited :)

Hi everyone, I've been a little MIA lately but back now I need to go back through and have a read to catch up on where you're all at, but I hope everyone is well. I went back to Tony yesterday for a second consult before my surgery in two weeks, and now the game plan has changed... A lot! I was originally booked in for a reduction + lift but since my last appointment I have lost 3kg which has had a huge affect on my breasts I now don't have enough volume for the upper pole so surgery has been revised to a lift + implants. The implants will be 125-225cc rounds to fill out the upper pole. My head is still spinning from the appointment as it's not what I expected to happen. I now have to go back for a third consult on Monday to finalise everything before the surgery. I popped in yesterday and purchased my surgical bras, silicone tape and compression socks. i just can't wait to have it done. 2 weeks and counting...
  12. At my consult Dr Connell pointed out that my skin type (due to family origin) would most likely scar worse than usual, which is something I was going to ask him about but he brought it up first. We've spoken about scar management and what we'll do to avoid the scars becoming the next issue I have with my breasts.
  13. Overnight stay for my BL in August but I'm pretty sure my surgeon has everyone stay overnight.
  14. Good luck! I can't wait to hear how it goes!! I'm having the same along with a small reduction in August
  15. I'm booked in here in Perth for a reduction and lift, and so far I'm looking im at just under $10K after Medicare and HBF, which also includes an overnight stay in the surgery unit.
