He doesn’t need have one. He doesn’t really need one to be honest, he’s very highly regarded in the industry.
Best bet is to make an appointment - sooner rather than later as his wait list is quite long especially coming into Christmas.

    Good luck.

It won't matter at all  I've had it twice with breast implant revisions, it's actually better to have it the day of your surgery, or close to, because your menstral pain with be practically non-existent, good luck with it x

@Mumof2girls I like reading that! It gives me hope. I really do want them to work and I agree, I've got nothing to lose by trying. I'm glad you've had such a great outcome with them! That's awesome.

I was put under. From memory it took over an hour to do, not sure I would have lasted with a local. But I'm a big chicken!

I don't have scientific evidence just personal experience.
Three surgeries, used them on my second and not my first and the results speak for themself. Needless to say I'm using silicon again.
My friend had a lift. Only used the areola sheets and those scars are almost invisible her scars that weren't covered aren't nearly as good. 2 years post surgery and she still regrets (in her words) 'being so lazy' and applying them on all her incisions.
At the end of the day your not a lot of money out of pocket for buying and trying them and you can say you've given it your best shot. By doing nothing you may have regret and you can't turn back the hands of time.

    @Imogen-L
Recovery was slightly less then original BA, 6 weeks of no heavy lifting lifting and running after 4 weeks with two crop tops.
My surgeon is extra cautious, but I didn't  mind because I really didn't want to stuff it up for a second time.
Physically I felt great about one-two weeks post op (once the stitches wheee out) and felt like I could return to normal activities but took my surgeons advice to rest a further two weeks (besides walking).
The operarion was a walk in the park. No pain, tightness, stinging etc.

love the dry shampoo idea - wish i thought of that when i had my surgery - it can be difficult to lift your arms above your head so i would look for clothing that you can step into if that makes sense

    Hello lovely October Ladies
I hope that you are all doing very well and looking absolutely amazing!
Update from me for those who wanted to know:    I arrived back home today after 10 days in Sydney  So far, my recovery is going really, really well. I'm 5 days PO now and getting better and better every day.
Our flights back home wasn't bad at all, no pain or discomfort for me.....I had 2 valiums on Dr's orders for flights so that might've helped a lot too.  Only trouble I had so far was that the Tramadol wasn't agreeing with me at all.....after taking it my stomach was on fire (almost literally  ) and just wanted to vomit. So Dr put me on Endone only as it is working perfectly for me. No constipation or nausea. Morning boob is extremely uncomfortable and painful (as we all know) but as soon as I had a hot shower I feel 100% better. Something I did find out very quickly was that my girls did NOT like the cold nights in Sydney. They tensed and cramped up so tight and that was SOOO ouch!!! But being back in QLD.....what a change. They are loving it
My recovery up to date has been easier than what I anticipated and I have no doubt that it has a lot to do with my surgeon. I am extremely happy with how my girls are behaving and progressing. I honestly have no boob greed. Dr M chose my size perfectly!
Obviously I am still swollen and bloated and retaining a lot of fluids but that does not bother me at all at this stage. I am letting my body do what she needs to do to recover and heal, so not stressed.
I've added Day 5 PO photos for the ladies who are interested to have a peak.
Keep talking to us in this thread ladies and keep us posted with your progress, postives and negatives and photos as well so we can keep on supporting and encouraging each other.
Take care of yourselves ladies. Be gentle and kind to yourselves and give your body enough time to heal. You all deserve it.

My surgeons list is as follows (add a week as it starts from your post op/one week check up/stitch removal)
Immediately post surgery until your app - absolute rest, VERY gentle slow paced walking.
week one (post stitches removal) gentle walking.
    week two moderate walking
    week three incline/treadmill walking
    week four swimming and running
week five netball and pump (no push-ups or heavy overhead)
week six push ups on knees.
week seven - eight resume normal activities within pain limits.
wear a crop top over surgical bra to prevent bounce/movement
My doc is extremely conservative and cautious.
Why risk a week or two returning back early, you'll never forgive yourself if you hurt yourself. (Speaking from experience)

Dry shampoo. Because you'll want to avoid washing your hair as regularly.
Exta long phone charging cord to reach your bed.
    Good luck.

that is a really large scar for an augment.   I would get silicone gel onto it see if that helps

If you can ask your surgeon, but I wouldn't recommend using steri-strips, keep using stratamed from what I've read it's the same as the Newgel scar treatment. Some people are just lucky and heal really well.

its the white post surgery tape (hyperfix) you can purchase it from a pharmacy.
I used the silicone gel and sheets and I had a full anchor, plus two other surgeries (revision) and my scars are pretty good considering.
Amazon sell them cheaper. I use New E gel or sheets. The idea being behind silicone is it provides a protective barrier of moisture. Alternatively you can use Vit E oil but it's super sticky where as silicone is smooth and won't mark your clothes/bra.
