there's always a good reason to have them removed ! It's great your happy but there are people who haven't had the experience you have and I would think that's it's gotta be pretty bad for someone to think about having them removed ! Not anything you would just wake up and decide to do , pain factors maybe or cosmetically they don't look right maybe aswell , I know mine were excruciating and having them in was causing me a loss of income and a sex life aswell all in my first year of marriage too ? Sometimes out great experiences are not someone else's and all surgery carries risks and infavoursble outcomes . Each to there own I support girls who want them and girls who don't as I have been both and I know there's no easy answer to it it really is a personal one and need to support either one as both are life changing

I've been under and I've been over ! I much preferred overs ! I had no breast tissue barely a AA with a bony chest and I still prefer overs , with under I was very animated under and my muscle pushed them laterally ! It does happen it happened to me ! I'm also been told numerous times that unless you go completely under the muscle the partial unders which most have (most) after 6-12 months will be subglandular aswell so the whole sagging theory is really up to your body and how you support them ! I have overs and mine are not saggy at all they actually sit quite high and I have good upper pole aswell ! Each to there own I understand both sides but for me I wish I knew more about unders so I could of made a better descion to begin with ! Everyone gets different implant sizes , placement it's not a straight forward answer IMO! Do what you want and what you feel comfortable with

Katewell got a reaction from Angie-ewok in Explant and lift bosum buddies?
Well without the implants they were borderline after a year( after surgery they were shocking ) , with implants I got away with not having a lift and to be quite honest by this stage I really couldn't afford it ! Well I payed for a full breast lift and caspsule and internal bra removal and implant removal ,after the op I woke up and saw I didnt recieve a lift and just now after this surgery they found everything was still left in tact inside of me ! Very disappointing seeing I payed a hefty dollar for something I didn't recieve, I went to a different suregeon this time as I was not impressed and severely shattered inside and out at how my explantation was handled it messed with me badly , so it's still being looked into and all, as if he didnt feel I could recieve a full lift he really shouldnt of charged me for it and lie about it after , instead I should of been comforted and reimbursed if I didn't have enough breast tissue for a lift ,,,,long long story

I get it totally ! I had a explantation without a lift 1 1/2 years ago due to chronic pain, long story I just had them out back in as I was unhappy with how they looked I wanted a lift but was not given one so I got smaller implants put in , if I had a lift and all was done properly to begin with I wouldn't of had them put back in

    Hi Ladies,
I underwent upper blepharoplasty yesterday & wanted to share my experience   I am 27 years old & I found it really hard to find before/after pics and personal experiences for people under 45, as most blephs seem to be done on middle aged people. So as a fairly young patient for this type of procedure here is my experience
I have always had uneven and hooded eyelids ever since I was born, thanks to family genes. This has lead to people thinking I look "tired" even after a great night's sleep. I felt my eyelids were very droopy and I've always been envious of girls with normal eyelids who can wear beautiful eyeshadows.. I love playing with makeup and my eyeshadow would constantly smudge, not that you could see the eyeshadow on my tiny lids. After 27 years putting up with droopy eyes, and after conquering my BA last August I decided to get upper blepharoplasty to look more refreshed and finally not look tired all the time.
I had the procedure done by my booby surgeon, Dr Richard Rahdon in Geelong. My admission time was 10.30am but I didn't get into surgery until 1.30pm (I think that was about the time they knocked me out with GA lol). I had the same warm-mannered anaesthetist as my BA so I felt very relaxed. Richard was great, chatting with my about my work/life/wedding planning for a good 10 mins, presumably to relax me and that worked - I was very relaxed. He must keep a notebook of girls' names/professions because he deals with soo many ladies each week, I can't believe that despite seeing him about 6-7 times over the past year he would remember my profession!
I woke up about 4pm in recovery with no pain or nausea, but with blurry eyesight because of the gel they used to lubricate my eyes during surgery. Apart from the weird feeling of blurry vision I felt great! My lovely anaesthetist came to check on me, and over the next hour and a half I became more awake, my vision improved and the nurse gave me some peppermint tea and biscuits and cheese. I asked the nurse for some ice/eye pads because I wanted minimal swelling & bruising, and I wanted to get onto it right away. My surgeon Richard came to check on me at 5pm and he was happy with how I looked, and then my partner picked me up at 5.30pm.
At home, I continued feeling well. I ate dinner and had my prescribed ibuprofen tablet and 2 panadols. I put a sterile eye pad with frozen saline solution on my eyes before bed & today I have kept up with my medications and an occasional cold eye cloth. Apart from my twice daily ibuprofen tablet which I have with breakfast & dinner, I haven't needed any painkillers and have not been in pain whatsoever! I know it's very early days, as I'm only day 1 post op but I am happy with how I'm looking. I expected to get a shock when I looked in the mirror & look a bit more "scary" but I'm not terribly bruised or swollen. I am keeping up with the cold cloth on my eyes so hopefully I don't get too much worse. I am already loving my more refreshed, wide awake, feminine eyes! Here is my day 1 post op pic (excuse the purple texta marks, this was the surgeon's drawing).
If I can help any ladies with questions etc please get in touch. I would love to help  And I will post a progress pic once the purple texta washes off. Hopefully I will be super happy with the result once it all settles down!

I also had overs before this one I've had 5 breast augs first one was unders ! Overs for 2 years of 590s no sag with those either ! And yes they do slip from unders hence the dropping ! the muscle would be covering the slightest amount of implant after dropping ! I don't want a debate I was extremely unhappy with my unders but I understand the reasons for it I just think being informed on both and what can happen is a good idea x

I had mine removed and I was very happy to have them removed but was not prepared for the look of them ,I spend a good year going back and forth to my surgeon thinking of all the outcomes so as not to get upset ,I thought I spent all this money to look a certain way (I never had bad breasts before implants just small but perky ) I don't want to look saggy and stretched , so I opted for a explantation and full breast lift , for some reason he never gave me a lift yet claims he did ,I have my before pics and there was no lift done ,so I became very depressed as I thought I had done everything in my power to avoid the one thing I was sure I didn't want to happen ! Now I see I actually lost so much breaSt tissue during explantation as I had so much scar tissue that there was nothing to lift ! That's okay but I paid for a lift and explantation! Cost started at 1500 for explantation and with the lift 9500 this was cheaper as I used my same surgeon and is considered revision surgery but he never refunded me  at all ,I didn't undress in front of my husband for over a year until recently as I got them re implanted but a way much smaller size ,it is a long hard road for sure and I guess I'm vain as I never got used to the look of explantation

Hi beautiful ladies, it has been a while since I've been on here, & I just want to say a big Thankyou for all the well wishes & thoughts. It means a lot. I can't wait to read & see everyone's progress.   I havent been able to come on here because it was just too hard , though i am extremely happy for everyone,  I was just struggling way too much with my situation. Without going into too much detail (at this moment anyway), I'd just like to inform you that it has not been  great progress at all. Things  did not & have not improved at all. It has been a very depressing & stressful time. Hopefully coming back on here I will be gain the encouragement, confidence & support I need for this uphill battle that hopefully one day  will come to a successful outcome of me having some lovely titties  xo

Yep I suggest a stretch lace bra that's what I wear mostly they fit like gloves as its not padded and its stretch lace ,I love the Bendon yvette lace bra
Le mystere are fantastic bras as they are fully round bases but if you are lacking cleavage you could struggle with the bra pocking out

Yes, yes, yes!! I'm 5 months PO and I still have trouble finding bras that look good. I have been going for wire-free bras that have very little structure/padding.... Here's one I bought today. Not supportive in the slightest, but it looks sweet.

My boobs are always cold now. I remember last winter when I first got my implants shivering was SO painful. And as soon as I felt cold (which is most of the time, haha), my pec muscles tensed up and it hurt like a b*&#h. I hope it's not so bad this winter.

I do sns I love it ! No breakage or chipping colour ,I also love how I can do colour process on hair and it never stains it or discolours for bleach  it is a bit more expensive but I can't go back I tried going back to shellac , it uses ur own nail so no need for tips unless you have no nails

I work night shifts and during winter it gets freezing, last winter was awful when I shivered my muscles felt like they were jumping all over my implants and squeezing them into my armpits feels horrid, they felt really hard when it happens aswell.
i only had them done last August so they were new last winter hoping it gets better this winter. I wear a scarf tucked into my jacket to keep my boobs warm lol

Mine are super sensitive to temperature. Even the cold section at woolies will make my mine hurt but never any tensing or trembling.
