Mine are SOOOOOOO uneven!! I haven't posted photos yet because they look so weird to me! Hope they even out soon! I will sucks it up and put my photos up tomorrow. I know I just have to be patient and let my boobies do their thing at their own pace, but I didn't expect it to seem like forever 😂 @NJoy@NJoy I have been numb from above my nipples down and around the sides until post op day 9. Since then my feeling has been coming and going, sometimes my nipples are extra sensitive, sometimes normal, a few pins and needles as well. All over the shop really. But like everything else it will be different for everyone!

I'm day 6 now and feeling so much better. No pain relief since night time panadol on day 4. Actually starting to find it hard not doing too much. Would really love to vacuum my house and drive! 😂 Still tiring easily though. I do have occasional brief sharp pain under my right armpit and what feels like some fluid around my right breast making it look quite strange. But I rang my surgeon's nurse and she said not to worry about the fluid, quite normal for this early on in recovery. Sleeping is still a bit weird. Feels like my breathing is reatricted on my back and im not getting decent sleep sitting bolt upright. I am comfortable on my side until I wake up, then it takes a while for "morning boob" to settle. Will.get some progress photos up today. All the best for those ladies getting news installments today and the rest of the week!

Hi everyone, how's the recoveries going? I feel pretty good. A bit of soreness if I overdo it or reach a bit far for something, but that to be expected.

All surgeons have different preferences I guess. I have to keep my bandage on for 4 days, the wound dressings stay on until the surgeon or nurse removes them at my 2 week post op appointment. Not sure if they are left bare after this or new dressings are applied. Any idea how long the wounds are meant to have dressings on in total?

@Theloveofa I gained 3kg overnight with my surgery too. Finally dropping off now, just fluid retention and sluggish digestion I think 😊

Good luck today @coconut87!! 2 days post op for me now, definately hard to get that digestion cranking! Over did it about yesterday, I think all the pain killers gave me a false ssense of feeling really great and also was still on a bit of a high from having boobs again 😊 My surgeon has bandaged me up with a compression bandage I have to leave on until Monday. That first shower after 5 days will be amazing!!! 😂 For those who are post op now, how did you keep your dressings dry while showering? Or did you just dry them out afterwards? Wish I could load some post op photos but this is all I get to see for a couple more days.....

    Nipple piercings

I used to have nipple piercings, it's so quick you barely feel it! All after a BA your nips could perhaps be more sensitive. It's clothes rubbing on freshly pierced nipples that hurts!

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd let you know how I went today. First of all, wowsers nothing can fully prepare you for the initial wake up!! I felt like a truck was on my chest!! Really had to teach myself to breath deeply. I really struggled to wake up too, and make coherent sentences for a while. I'm bandaged up with a crop on top, not in a post surgery bra, and I'm to stay that way until Monday. Feel a bit high on all these painkillers but can risk getting overwhelmed by pain the next 38 hours as I have family coming for a funeral so going to stay dosed up and ease off on sat. Apart from the tightness I feel pretty good. Can move around ok. Actually feel like strolling around the house a bit after laying down all day. Had a 2.5 hour drive home but being in the car was fine too. Wont get a peek until Monday because of the bandages, Im dying to see how they look!!! If anyone else is having surgery at the Mount Lawley hospital in perth, you could not be better cared for. The nurses were absolutely lovely and even though they were flat out nothing was to much trouble. That's about all my brain can get out so goodnight! Hahaha

Looking amazing already! Sorry I have been a bit absent trying to get organized for BA day tomorrow!! Glad to see everyone seems to be coming out the other side reasonably well, hope it is all smooth sailing from here for you. All the new boobies are looking fabulous already! Not sure that I will be able to sleep tonight!! How did everyone else go the night before?

Good to hear everyone's recovery seems to be going as expected!! I was fine until today. now I am starting to get SUPER nervous!!! For the ladies who have had their surgery, which has been the worst day so far? My surgery is on Thursday next week and just found out I have to attend a funeral on Saturday 20th!!! Will this even be possible? Now I have family traveling to stay with me and I didn't even want to tell them I was having a BA! Argh!

    Breast Implant Illness

@lmareef I suffer from 12 of the things on your list and I have hashimotos which is an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid. I can be hard to find a doctor to diagnose it properly as they usually just do one blood test but need to test a whole range of things to get a full picture, even then they just prescribe a pill. At the moment I take medication to assist my thyroid but I know that if I eat certain things my symptoms are much worse but if I eat really well my medication is enough to keep on top of the hypothyroid symtpoms. I definitely think exploring what a Naturopath suggests is worth the time and money, before going straight to implant removal. I am planning on seeing a Naturopath soon as they will look at the whole picture of your health and not just particular symptoms. I hop eyou find some relief soon xx
