Breast Augmentation: 25y/o 166cm currently 68kg, currently B cup left C cup right breast (asymmetrical), wanting fuller, more even boobies. Had a consult with Dr Tang @ TCI on 23/09/2015, advised second opinion due to "borderline" needing a reduction/lift in right breast. Recommended 450cc HP in left and 330cc Mod in right. Having further consult with Dr Miroshnik 30/11/2015 for second opinion.

  1. Thanks hun. I think I'm going to book a consult with him. Did they really look after you after the surgery as well? xx
  2. @sullengirl if you don't mind me asking, how much did your procedure cost with Dona? I'm looking at the same surgery, BA with a lift & reduction in one side (due to asymmetry)... just curious as I've had one quote with Dr. Miroshnik and was considering seeing Dona as well just to compare. xx
  3. Dr Tang is who I initially saw, I went to him as 3 girls I am friends with had their surgeries through him and he did a fantastic job on all of them! Good luck & definitely keep me updated! @vaticinal xx
  4. Thanks for sharing your story & thanks for sharing the thread - super helpful. My partner of 7 years says go for it haha and I really want to as who knows when I'll actually have kids - so may as well do it now whilst I'm young I guess? Regardless I'll be up for some sort of revision down the track and who can even predict what my girls will do when I have kids... think the best thing I can do right now is ask as many questions as I can to my PS xx
  5. Heyaa, Excuse the little novel but want to get some opinions on BA BEFORE kids... Yay or Nay... So I'm 25 NO kids & needing a BL, BR & BA. I have a bit of a complex case where my asymmetry is quite bad (apparently) and I require a Breast Reduction and a Lift in my right breast (only), left is fine - if I want to go ahead with getting a BA, getting implants on their own will only magnify my differences and make my nipples severely un-aligned & uneven. I was initially told I was borderline BR & BL by DR Tang at Parra TCI (said they would still do the surgery but I'd have "sub optimal results) so booked a consult with Dr. Miroshnik, saw him on Monday and he confirmed what TCI initially told me. Basically I could get away with a slight nipple lift I went with a smaller implant but since I want to go a bit bigger (only 450cc L and 330(ish)cc R) it's recommended I get the reduction & lift and BA in one. Miroshnik as also said that regardless of whether I have kids or not I will need revision surgery at least another 1-2 times in my lifetime due to the ageing of the implants... What I'm more concerned about is needing ANOTHER lift once I'm done having kids (once I have kids which is at least 2-3 years minimum away). Has anyone got any personal advice/experience they wish to offer - anyone had a lift and implants BEFORE kids and are happy/unhappy? Wish you waited til after kids? Thanks heaps xx

  8. Hi I was told I was borderline needing a reduction and a lift (in 1 breast) by Dr Tang at TCI back in September. On Monday I had a consult with Dr Miroshnik and he confirmed that I do in fact require a reduction and a lift in my right breast. I'm also really unsure what to do as I do want kids down the track and am now so hesitant in booking due to revision surgery after I finish having kids. Dr M said though regardless to whether I have kids or not if I get the BA and the reduction/Lift I will need revision surgery at least once or twice in my lifetime as the implants age over time so either way you're up for more surgery later. Decisions, Decisions!!
  9. Hi Girls, Wondering if anyone has had surgery through the Breast Clinic or have reviews on any of their surgeons?? I'd never heard of them until it popped up on facebook so I googled them but can't really find any reviews and haven't really heard of any of their surgeons before. Thanks xx
  10. Hi Girls, What to get an opinion poll on Dr Jake Lim and Dr Dona. They are both similarly priced and both seem to have a good reputation. Want to know anyone's personal experience (good and bad) on both PS's. I have read so many reviews on each and it's kinda hard to pick between the two! OR does anyone recommend anyone else? Ta xx
  11. Oh heyyy 😊 I'm 25, live just outside of Newcastle NSW. Am a bit of a workaholic. I'm an executive assistant at a community housing provider Monday to Friday and work in retail on the weekends. Engaged & eloping to the Maldives in April 2016 (cannot wait) - we've been together for 7 years & have a cat who is our baby. Was hoping to have new boobs for my wedding but it's been put on hold until I have some further consultations & a second opinion from my first consult this week. I like to dabble in Botox injections & am getting fillers in my lips soon too. I think it's amazing how small changes can boost your confidence! I don't have much time for hobbies but I do enjoy going to the gym and smashing some weights with my PT. I also love to paint when I have some artistic inspiration, it would actually be my dream to own my own little art gallery and have my own studio to throw paint around in. This forum is great and has been so informative, supportive and reassuring! Looking forward to keeping you updated on my BA journey! X
  12. I had booked & paid for my whole surgery with TCI before my consult. Had my consult with Dr Tang on Wednesday (23/09) and wasn't happy and felt really unsure after his recommendation. I've cancelled my surgery and am getting a FULL refund. They will refund your deposit if you choose not to go with them. I've booked another consult with a plastic surgeon, Dr Miroshnik. I think it's definitely a really good idea to have a couple at least and try and get one with a plastic surgeon perhaps if you're a bit uneasy. I don't have anything against TCI and personally know 4 girls who have had brilliant results & I have major boob envy lol it depends what your case is too. If it's pretty straight forward and you don't have any major differences in your boobies then I think you should be fine generally matter what. I will also say I'm on the TCI forum and have noticed a fair few girls with revision cases because they aren't happy (some small issues but some bigger). That does worry me a little! good luck darl! X
  13. Hey Girls, So this is my second post on the forum... been racking my brain since my first consult! I have one breast larger than the other. I never thought it was THAT bad until my first consult where I was told I was "borderline" needing a reduction and lift (borderline is such a grey area!!). so.... Three Questions: 1. Has anyone on here had asymmetry issues prior to BA surgery (how much was the difference between each breast)?? 2. What was your surgeons recommendations (who was your surgeon)? 3. If you had the BA Surgery what are your results (which surgeon)? Thank you!! xxx
  14. Thank you all so much 😘 I'll put a post up when I have some more consults and tell what other opinions I get on my boobies. Watch this space xx
  15. I do understand where he is coming from slightly but I also feel that maybe he was put off due to the fact a current affair ran their segment with all the negative feedback the night before and a lady that went in to see him prior to my consult and was there due to a "botched job" and isn't happy at all with her results (dr Tang wasn't her initial surgeon though). I'm cancelling my surgery date for now and getting second, third and fourth opinions before I make my decision. May or may not go with TCI, just want to make sure I get the best results. Thanks girls, it's been really helpful and reassuring <3
