  1. Update: 6-7 weeks post op. Revision by Dr F. I am more than pleased with my result. I had decided to go with 420cc and within a week I had forgotten what 240cc were like. And so in the first few weeks I thought - damn I should have gone bigger... But now life has settled. I think I am the perfect size for my frame, and they look so natural. To recap - Dr F did an awesome job correcting my previous BA - and he improved my cleavage. The surgery was a breeze. no pain. no bruising. tiny scars now almost gone.
  2. I am nearly one month post op. I am absolutely delighted with the result. 420cc above the muscle. It was a revision - and he took me from 240 to 420. He corrected the level from the last surgery, improved my cleavage and they are just perfect. He did such a superb job. Post surgery – I had almost no pain, and no bruising. Scars were very slim - and I am doing well. SO pleased.
  3. I'm very sad to read these accounts. And I hope you get sorted jjade. When i did my research months ago i saw many positive comments. And the many posts on sizing were helpful. I have had two previous procedures. But honestly, I can only say this time around I was treated with the utmost professionalism and care by Dr F. He corrected the "aberrations" from my first augmentation (by a plastic surgeon) -- and improved my cleavage and leveling. There was no bruising, almost no pain, and very clean stitching. I have to say, the "wait a few months" comments freaks me out somewhat. Not sure what I should be expecting to go wrong now? So - I am sad for everyone here including Dr F who has done for me what I see as an superb job. I will keep posting irregularly on my recovery -- though coming to the forum has seriously deflated my exuberance and excitement of my new journey - (and I actually wish I hadn't got on to post my experience).
  4. jjade. Sorry to hear you're unhappy. I know nothing about keloid scars or why they would happen. In my first surgery, my one boob was slightly lower - but that was visible in the first week. And it stayed that way. But i'm above the muscle. Did you exercise/gym ? donatella you quoted a review?
  5. Thanks for the comments girls. No--I am just b****dy delighted. I had gone through a very bad experience 15 years ago (rhinoplasty) and when this was such a breeze, I was so pleased. I was very nervous about being 'bigger' with regards to what people thought, but I think I got the perfect balance of size. Also almost no pain.
  6. I will keep you updated. Not sure what you mean by 'cracks start to show' later. I know he has performed countless BA's I can only speak highly of the whole experience. And could not be more happy with the results.
  7. First time around 14 years ago I met with 3 surgeons. This time around budget was a major factor, so I did my research in the price range. I found out Dr **** is a very busy cos surgeon with regard to breast augmentation. I made the decision based on my consult with him. I had made a booking for another surgeon - which I cancelled. I had a very good experience.
  8. What part Kannc? (wow this site can be bitchy. I am definitely a different generation)
  9. Even more happy (second time around)
  10. Thanks for the latest comments. I apologise for posting it twice - as I had not posted before. But I did read many many threads about sizing and other comments - which truly did help me in my decisions. So was thanking people who actually take the time to advise and comment. To my other note - this was a big deal decision for me (being over 60) - and my age is another reason I am not a prolific (or proficient) on social forums (I reluctantly have twitter and facebook). I also subscribed to REALSELF - and found the posting there amazing too (but mostly US). I have contacted the the forum email - and supplied all my details and details of my surgery. Got an reply email that one of their staff will respond to my request soon. To Pepper9 thanks for the happy comment. I am sure I will be as happy in months to come. I was delighted when I got 240cc 14 years ago - even though they were always a little small for my frame. The bonus was that in any relationship -- they were always assumed real, as they were small. Thus I was really nervous that much larger implants were going to have that "implant crease" look. I am delighted that my boobs have none of that. That is where the surgeon was spot on. I was leaning towards moderate profile with a wider base, but he suggested high profile (smaller base) - so that 'bump' effect did not happen. The 420cc look large without clothes (very happy about that), but are a modest under clothes (glad about that). On another note, I had a rhinoplasty in 2001 -- I cried afterwards as it was a mini disaster. I had it corrected a year later, but it turned out to be only a modest improvement. I learned to live with it and keep smiling. So understand both sides.
  11. Your sarcasm is not appreciated donatella -- but let's get to the facts. I do not like being called a fake. I don't know the procedure of contacting the moderator - but can easily verify my surgery, age etc. Lets do it. You should be able to tell me how. (7,219 posts - wow!!! You probably don't want to proved wrong to your 4,527 members.)
  12. Apologies, but didn't know how to use the sight got a little confused - so posted it as a thread - but was meant as a comment. Hence it has popped up in two places. But sorry to disappoint you DONATELLA - I'm real. Operated around 2pm on the 18th. And will be more than happy to provide the forum moderator any details to confirm I'm no fake. The only thing fake about me is that I have 420cc implants. Otherwise I'm all down to earth and very real. Again - soooo delighted that I made the second plunge. (another side note --- that maybe of interest. I'm over 60) So to find out the surgeon - my comment is on another thread. (And I'm not defaming anyone donatella)
  13. Sorry to disappoint you DONATELLA - I'm real. Interesting that you were so quick to disregard my experience. My boob op was around 2pm on the 18th February. I am more than happy to confirm any details of my augmentation to the forum moderator. You should be more careful next time. I posted it twice as I was not familiar with the site (and as a side note --- I'm over 60) The only thing fake about me is that I have 420cc implants. Otherwise I'm all down to earth and very real. Again - soooo delighted that I made the second plunge. And very happy with my result.
  14. Thank you all for all the posts. It helped me through my decision. I am now FIVE days post op. And so delighted with what Dr **** advised and about the whole procedure. Bit of background. A well known plastic surgeon did 240cc implants 14 years ago. My boobs were not quite level, a bit far apart and one seemed to have a bubble crease. Anyway - i loved them and lived with them for 13, 14 years. For many years I have wanted to go bigger - and as I was going through all this decided to go quite a bit bigger. I met with Dr **** and immediately liked his meticulous professionalism. (For my first surgery I had met three plastic surgeons, so knew what to expect) Anyway, we decided on 420cc. So a 180cc jump. I had read on the this forum of girls being regretful - not going big enough - and some "I'm too big". So I took the decision quite carefully, knowing that I like my gym, but that I would like to be bigger. Had contemplated 460cc, but using the rice test was a little concerned. About the operation day: Was an absolute breeze. It seems to happen so quickly. I took half an Endone that night for the pain, then a couple of Panadol over the first two days. Otherwise almost no pain. Nurse Doris said Dr **** has a gentle touch. Well, on the second night I woke up wondering - for no longer than 5 min though - that maybe I'd gone to big. But now 5 days in, I'm settling in, and am SO delighted. My boobs don't look too big with clothes - but look awesome without. Dr **** also created better cleavage - boobs absolutely level too. I've had an excellent experience.
