I was given go ahead to go back to gym/exercise at 6 weeks. I started with lighter weights etc and just made sure I listened to my body. Going well so far. I am 11 weeks PO now and yesterday surgeon did lipo around my new belly button as well as trimmed a dog ear I had on my tummy incision. All of this was done under local anaesthetic in his rooms. OMG!! It was certainly not the nicest experience and I am in swell hell since and soooo sore and bruising is setting in !!! 4 syringes and at least 20 needle pricks of anaesthetic later, I understand why lipo is mostly done under general!!! He removed about 200mls of fat from around my belly button.

Has anyone updated their progress pics lately? Are you still seeing changes from week to week? I am almost 6 weeks and really hoping I have plenty of D&F to go yet lol.

Im doing well thanks @Bearynice! Where have the last 5 weeks gone? It's crazy hey! I'm back into the exercise, walking 4-5 Kim's most days and will be back to the gym next week. I've shouted myself some Lorna Jane and Rockwear clothing (including bras) so I am looking and feeling the part 😉 My tummy incision is healing really well and is mostly flat now and in some sections, I can't even see the incision so I'm thrilled with how I'm healing. My right breast is still very high which is expected as I had a lift and reduction on this side. I have follow up appt with surgeon in a couple of weeks. 😊 How are you travelling!?

I have been walking about 5-6klms 3-4 days a week. Have been going of a late afternoon/evening so I don't get too sweaty

Saw this and it seemed appropriate for our journeys 💗
  8. Yeah he said my skins elasticity is not very good, he pulled me as tight as possible during surgery. He is going to do some lipo in the area after 3 months to try to get the skin to retract so fingers crossed. While standing, it looks amazing. We will just take it all as it comes and hopefully once everything settles etc, it improves 😊

I'm supposed to be every 3 days but as hubby was heading back to work, we did a day early but I think I'll just keep it on longer from now on

Do you have trouble removing the microtape? It's usually the tape that tends to grab the tummy incision and rip it while I am removing it. Either of you found an easier way to remove without damaging the incision?

I am walking upright really well UNFORTUNATELY!! Turns out my skin doesn't have the greatest amount of elasticity so it hasn't stayed as taught as we would have liked in the upper torso. Surgeon is going to look at doing some lipo in the area under local anaesthetic in February in an attempt to get the skin to retract more. I felt really disappointed at first but I need to remind myself that it looks soooo much better than preop (I no longer have that apron of skin that used to be there and with the Muscle Repair, exercise is going to help it as well) 😊

Yeah still using the tape. I just have a section on my tummy that is currently tape-free as it was a little moist

Hey ladies, wow 2 weeks post op today. Can't believe how quick the time has flown. Thankfully I am no longer in pain, just a bit of discomfort here and there but it's very manageable. Hubby went back to work today so I'm back driving and having no issues at all, just taking it nice and easy. I'll pop up a couple of updated pics that I took yesterday 😊
  15. Hi ladies, I had TT and MR 11 days ago. I find that I have a lot of loose skin moreso above where my new belly button is. When I stand up and bend over it literally hangs. Is this something that will usually sort itself out over time and with exercise or am I stuck with this result? I can't stop crying and stressing over it ☹️️
