  1. As frustrating as it is, I think you need to be patient a little longer with your results. I think it does take longer for the swelling to go down and for it to start feeling 'normal' again. So try not to worry and also look after yourself. No one really prepares you for this experience and I would just say try to be patient.
  2. In choosing the right bra after breast augmentation, the very first thing that you have to do is to measure your breast size again. Although you specifically discuss this already with your surgeon before surgery, you still need to get the exact measurements because implants aren’t made according to cup sizes but rather its volume. You can either do this yourself or have it taken by a bra expert in undergarment stores. This should be done after the swelling has fully subsided to get accurate measurement. Also, bras that are made out of Lycra for me are really good. It fit well and ju
  3. I read here that leg lifts is a good exercise for the early part of the recovery process. It keeps good circulation flowing while keeping your pectoral area safe. You lay flat on your back and keep your leg straight. Rest it about 6 inches from the ground for at least 15-20 seconds. Then slowly pull your knee towards your body to see how high you can kick up without having to bend your knee. Repeat this process on the opposite knee. Although it may be quite simple but it can really help.
  4. Never had liposuction before, but a friend of mine had her liposuction with Dr Michael Zacharia.
  5. I read somewhere during my research that under the muscle is best for thin women with little breast tissue to cover the implant. There are number of benefits of placing the implants under the muscle. It reduces the risks of capsular contracture, infection and implant exposure. And it creates more natural appearance. However, this may all depend on your surgeon's assessment, it would be great if you carefully choose your breast surgeon, so that she/he will give you right answers to these questions. I believe that the success of any surgery is solely dependent on your surgeons expertise.
  6. I've been wondering which of liposuction technique is the safest? liposuction surgery or the non-surgical liposuction using lasers or radio frequency? I've been researching for this and i found this useful article, talking about tumescent liposuction as safest form because it only requires a local anesthesia injected into the layers between the fatty tissues and skin. What do you think?
  7. New studies revealed that the procedure also helps lower fat levels in the blood. Read more here: http://reconsurgical.com/node/278
  8. Yeah it's a good thing. You know, I believe that beauty has different form. And being different from the norms is beautiful. It spices up life. Depends on how you see it. You don't need to be embarrassed, all girls/women are entitled to be vain. Hahaha. We made decisions in our life that sometimes some people think it doesn't make sense, but they are not us and they don't understand. So just do what you wanted to do, and cross the bridge when you get there. I hope I didn't confuse you. Best of luck.
  9. I google photos of Olivia Palermo, and yeah she had this prominent chin. And she looks great on it. Maybe you could reconsider having jaw reduction, there are only few women who possess this feature. And maybe after you get your revision, it would fit well with your jaw. You may have lots of things to lose if things screw up. Anyway, good luck to your surgery.
  10. I found this short article about things to prepare before your rhinoplasty. Just a simple reminders for everyone who are anxious for the BIG day. When you leave the hospital or doctor's surgical suite after your rhinoplasty, you won't exactly be in the mood to run to Chemmart or the bookstore, so you're going to want to have everything you need on hand for a restful recovery. Have anything else to add?
  11. i know Dr Michael Zacharia in Sydney do this procedure. i had my procedure with other surgeon, Dr Ahnsup Kim, because i have different needs, i go for double eyelid surgery, a little bit different with the regular eyelid surgery. This customarily done for Asian patients.
  12. You should not be embarrassed about it. I guess having genioplasty or chin augmentation is a complementary procedure on rhinoplasty. Genioplasty will improve the results of a rhinoplasty especially when there is no symmetry between the nose and the chin. A receded chin with a large nose can give the impression of a lack of assertiveness, while a prominent chin on the other hand can give a stern appearance. So i guess these are just perfect. Have you seen amazing Korean before and after photos lately? I think those girls get both rhinoplasty and chin augmentation. Good to read: Prof
  13. Although there were no extensive scientific calculations done to prove this point, it goes to show that the improved self-esteem that women acquire after surgery also enhances their sexuality. Read full article: Women Report Having Better Sex After Breast Implants
  14. My surgeon mentioned this post-breast surgery experience. And experiencing warmness in the first one or two weeks in the post-operative process is pretty normal. However, swelling may produce some warmth to the touch but so is infection. Usually, if you have an infection, you will have redness, fever/chills, discharge, etc. To ease your mind please up with your surgeon to address the "warm breasts". Hope this helps.
  15. I receive a quote from esteem- $4,400 for surgeon's fee plus additional fees which include theatre/bed fee and anaesthetic fee. Additional fees are solely dependent on the duration of procedure. The good thing about this procedure, is that Medicare and Private Health Fund rebate may apply. Hope this helps.
