RE arms, you would need to focus on your triceps, biceps and deltoids. Any time that you use free weights or weighted machines, you should always engage your core first. This will help with maintaining your abs and back but it will also assist you with good balance to ensure your form is correct. A good PT should work with you to put together a safe programme for your body goals.

Hi hun if your gym has dumbbells you  could try dumbbell skull crushers for triceps or a light witght barbell,  for shoulders you can try an upright row with a bar or dumbbell and rotator raise ( like a side raise but when your arms are parallel to your shoulders lift hands up wrists over elbows) and bicep curls or hammer curls start off with 3 sets of 15 and when that gets easy up your weight. I also do a dumbbell row for my back , if you google the above named exercises you can click on the image tab and see the how to do pics. Heres a couple of pics of the rotator rsise and dumbbell row.
I have anatomicals and all these are fine to do . Hope this helps ?

    Hi!
I'm 165cm and about 58kgs- I don't weigh myself I guesstimate I could be less. I am 2.5 weeks post op only and got 320cc anatomical HP. I would say they are definitely quite big and went a long way on my frame. So also keep this in mind. A tight top makes them look HUGE.
i'm adding a pic to my gallery now so friend me to get an idea

Do you have any symptoms? If not, stop worrying and get out of that reading hole!!! Check your breasts regularly and if you notice anything untoward speak with your PS immediately... I'm only saying this to try to stop you worrying unnecessarily. Take care xo

My surgeon was one of the authors of the paper, and he still recommends the use of the textured gel implants. He said that there are particular surgical techniques that are important to minimise the risk of any bacteria transfer - which is what is thought to cause the lymphoma. So, talking to your surgeon may alleviate your worries if they confirm they used the recommended procedure

I have the same implants. The answer for me is yes - the shape changed over a year as per the surgeon said it would. I am now nearly 4 years post op. At this stage for you, there is a lot of swelling and the D & F process will take up to a year. You just have to let the body heal and follow what your surgeon has said.

Yes I had this thought too.  I'm missing out the chatarungas,  mind you, every yoga woman on you tube has implants, so can't do any harm?

I'm over 6wks post op now.  I've started trying to get back into my workouts.  I used to do lots of plank variations but I'm worried what it might do to the new boobs.  I'm waiting for them to drop a bit more and soften up.  Will doing planks make my boobs harder? Or slow d&f?

Hi @Melbourne101 like sabP said it will all settle down soon my boobs still felt quite firm at 10 wks and they dropped at diffrent rates and are only just looking like they are evening out now. Yes it will feel strange hugging people and putting pressure on your chest i found it weird also and was not really comfortable laying on my stomach until about 12 to 14 wks and it still feels a bit strange even now but nit painful. My boobs are getting softer by the week so do try to be patient

I’m updating my album now! Weird rock feeling has calmed down slightly over the last few days.
I’m also a bit scared as they feel a little sore still and when I hug people I feel it especially.

He’s an awesome doctor. I’m just over 2 months post op and have had amazing results. Have not heard a bad thing about this doctor. He should be charging more in my opinion because he has some of the best work I’ve seen!

I am booked in to have my breast augmentation on April 12th with Dr Greensmith.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips, tricks or suggestions for before and after?
What to expect, what I should do to help prepare?
I suffer from anxiety and the fear of the unknown is starting to creep in, so I am hoping to prepare myself as much as I can beforehand.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi girls,
A quick update date that at 8 weeks PO my implants have softened only slightly. Mainly at the top and at my cleavage area. The rest of my breast still feels quite tender.
My back and neck pain is slowly going away and my energy levels are slowly coming back.
I am still finding bra shopping very hard as the bottom of my implants are too stiff to squash into an underwire bra. At night I sleepy on my back with no bra. Side sleeping and tummy sleeping are impossible as it still hurts and I am so freaked out by the idea of rotation!! ?
Aesthetically they look awesome I just wish I felt comfortable and they weren’t so hard feeling.

Melbourne101 reacted to I HaveBoobs in Drop and Fluff for Anatomicals
Thanks for the update @Melbourne101 its good to hear you are starting to feel more like yourself, i couldn't really wear underwire bras till about 3 months as my boobs were still quite firm and it was about then that side sleeping became more comfortable too, now at just over 4 mpo it dosn't bother me which way i sleep, laying on my stomach dosn't hurt but still feels strange like im laying on to water balloons ? so i still ask for a pillow when having my massage. My boobs are getting softer by the week and they even have a bit of jiggle when I'm bra less,  my hubby says they jiggle when i wash my hair in the shower and when I'm brushing my teeth so i am proof that they do get softer and @pink butterfly is 3 yrs po i think so hers will be softer still. Its a long process with anatomicals so you just have to play the waiting game.  Feel free to pop over to my albums and take a look at some of my progress pics. ?
  24. Thanks

Hey @Melbourne101 thanks for the update and good to hear you are feeling a bit better. Maybe avoid underwire bras for a while and stick with wire-free, you can find some pretty ones without wire.
Side sleeping will also improve with time and the discomfort will ease.
It will take time for them to soften more - I am just over 3 months now and they are firm but more squishy, definitely not hard.
Also good to hear you are getting your energy levels back - it can take longer than we expect. I gently went back to running at 6/7 weeks, slower and shorter distances and it was only today that I fully and comfortably ran my usual 6K without feeling like I was going to collapse from exhaustion half way. I was thinking on my run that whilst I thought I was back on top energy wise I really wasn't.
Day by day it will get better, you've come a long way and it won't be too many more weeks until you feel normal and great and full of energy again xo
  25. Thanks

The first couple of months can be a bit crap! I found by the 4th month post op that I could do most things. It is just time and patience. You are still healing.
