  1. Hi charlee jane, surgery went well yesterday, ferling good, swollen but able to move around well and resting on couch today. Penisula was great, staff were excellent, no problems for me. My boobs are big but once the swelling goes down they will be good. Very happy!

  2. that is great to hear. I am really excited and can't wait now. not at all worried about the size, i am settled on the 395 and I know that is the best thing for me. i kinda wanted bigger boobs even though i tell others that i am staying smaller so if they end up bigger than a d (and I don't think they really will, i will be ok with it). ill let you know how i go!

  3. That sounds like a good experience. I am going to Penisula as it is closer to me. I have heard from another member that is wasn't great but it is only for a night so i don't really care. Jo is good isn't she. She said the same to me, we did 3 diff sizes and she was the best person I have had for measuring. She made the point about how it should balance out your hips. I had never thought of that. How old is your daughter? mine is 6 and I have no idea what to tell her as she will tell everyone if i say I am getting new breasts! I will be ok with the recovery part, school and Kinder means I have the house quiet for the first few days.

  4. Hi Charlee I am off for surgery with Tim on 3rd Aug. THanks so much for your step by step breakdown of how you felt. if you and Emma Jane can keep that commentary going I would love it! did you have sub facial implants? I assume you did as that is all he does I think. I am having 395cc, i am a 34a and looking for a d cup. I have a bwd of 14 so he recommended the 395cc for "perky booobs"/. I am now starting to freak out about dying on the table (I can talk myself of that - nothing i can really do if that happens) but also your comments about the selfishness of this surgery - i really want better, bigger boobs after 3 kids so i know I won't be happy without it but I need some reassurance that I can do this!!! What else, I think I will be ok with the pain, i am ok with that kind of thing, Just want to know I will be ok after a week or so..I am reading your posts with interest and any feed back you can give me would be great!! 25 days to go.

  5. Sorry about my lack of reply, not getting here very much. Also when you repy to a visitor messag, go post your reply on their wall so the person knows you have replied. I did (andstill do) make that mistake. So copy your repky to peaches on her wall. I am very excited, 3.5 weeks and suddenly i am doubting all this but i know i will ake it over the line and yes i am worried i am going o be too big, even though i am sure the sizes looked ok. How much do you think you lose from the sizers to real thing?

  6. HI Emma Jane hows the healing going?

  7. disregard..I read more on the website and worked it out. thanks

  8. are all gummy bear implants anatomical? is that another name for them?

  9. great, thanks. I run by a slightly different name on JBI so I'll FR you there.

  10. good point about PS no 1....The whole anatomical look is much more subtle isn't it. I am looking around at different pics and it wil be different look to the Extra high profile overs that I was going to have...I hadn't realised how much but then it was never my intention to have big fake ones..

  11. my next question is whether I will be able to go on holidays 6 weeks post op..no kids.

  12. it helps if i post on the correct wall though! yes it is a tough call. Ithink actually it isn't too hard. I will call my first PS tomorrow and ask him about doing teardrop and under muscle...if he will do it I could just go with him?

  13. cont...there is more risk for women who are coming for revision from round implants. I don't do heaps of weights but I want to know that I can do push ups if and when I need to. he said after 6 months do what feels ok...otherwise walk around and coach. The prob is these PS guys aren't gym bunnies obviously, can you imagine your pump instructor walking around during the push up part?

  14. I teach pump (this is my main concern because of the push up work...there is quite a lot of chest work obviously), step, balance, cycle,. pilates and aqua. My main class mix is aqua, pilates, cycle and pump. I go to yoga for myself and cover the other classes when i am needed. So my reality is cycle and pump is the main one that I am out of for 6 week but aqua and pilates I teach without doing so he said 3 weeks if you felt ready. I asked about rotation..he was fairly dismissive to be honest..never had an anatomical rotate but he said he is very strict on the rest part. basically do what he says, heal..allow the implant to get grabbed by the muscle and there won't be a rotation.

  15. no no , you are spot on and that is exactly what I am thinking with PS no 2. i have to wait longer to have the surgery but the outcome will be better. It was strange because he was very definite in his approach and almost arrogant (as only PS can be...all Dr really) in saying essentially " if you come to me, this what I know from 25 years of work and this is the best option". he doesn't do revisions on women with round implants wanting teardrops as there is too much cc risk and it was a relief to stop trying to fix these problems. I think i got very "geed up" by PS 1 and now I realise I haven't got all the answers...and I really don't want to have to revise my surgery earlier than 20 years if I can help it. I also have to try and see the big picture and stop thinking in terms of my short term work (I am on mat leave from my main occupation and my fitness work has always been on the side, part time) so that shouldn't dictate what i am doing.I'll sleep on it...thanks.

  16. I must stop posting on my own wall....hopeless

  17. they look great. I would be really happy if they end up like that. I think he said moderate profile but I can play around with that at the pre op stuff. I said to him a d cup and he said 375 would do it. I am trying not to be greedy too. JBI makes it a bit tricky to get perspective but I never wanted "knockers", just more than what i have. thanks again. You have settled my anxiety. Of course my husband is away for 2 weeks os I have to make this decision without him. the good part is they both said the same size within 15cc so that i am comfortable with. I think it is the "under the muscle" part that I am unhinged by. Although everyone has them there and leads a most normal existance!

  18. thanks so much for your response..I am in a spin now...I have to make a booking with this PS quickly and I feel like this is the best option. Same comment - just skin...which I had thought so i was suprised when the other PS said i could go overs and had tissue. I think though, in hindsight, his main objective is to allow me to do my fitness work so going sub fascial will allow this. The new PS said to get teh best look and balance for your body this is what i say and you have to compromise on the fitness work. That makes more sense to me...I will check out your pics if that is ok. thanks.

  20. hi lily ( I have posted the below text in Undecided's wall too as I need opinions from girls with tear drop implants "...Sooo i went to a second PS today and he has told me I have breast tissue at all and teardrop under muscle would be the best. I am a bit spun out as the other guy, I have booked with, said" round, over the muscle (sub fascial but same diff) and you'll look great". This new guy is much more measured (he actually took heaps of measures) and said.." you are a good candidate for surgery, this is what I recommend, if you want something different I won't do it as it won't look right". i have to make a decision quickly as the earliest I can book is Aug 25th and that gives me just 6 weeks before flying to bali for a week hols without kids. arghhh....I think this guy might be right though!!! I feel the PS today was more correct in his assessment and certainly said what I had thought...that I had no tissue and I would have to go under the muscle. I don't know what to do now!

  21. sorry that should read, I have NO breast tissue. and "t his new guy is much more measured (he actually took heaps of measures where the other guy didn't. This PS said.." you are a good candidate for surgery, this is what I recommend, if you want something different I won't do it as it won't look right"..sorry typing while I work out whats for dinner!!

  22. hi...Sooo i went to a second PS today and he ahs told me I have breast tissue at all and teardrop under muscle would be the best. I am a bit spun out as the othr guy, I have booked with, was like round, over the muscle (sub fascial but same diff) and you'll look great. This new guy is much more measured (he actually took heaps of measures where the other guy didn't and just said.." you are a good candidate for surgery, this is what I recommend, if you want something different I won't do it as it won't look right". How are you finding yours? I did ask about restrictions and he didn't say I had a long time with not lifting my arms. The nagor teardrops are textured so I have drains and a full weeek off and then he gave me pretty much the same spiel about recovery.i have to make a decision quickly as the earliest I can book is Aug 25th and that gives me just 6 weeks before flying to bali for a week hols without kids. arghhh....I think this guy might be right though!!!

  23. sooo. I went to second PS today and he said I have no breast tissue and sub fascail will not work. He said I have no option but to go under the muscle and he does anatomical. he said, a round implant will give you a very high look and not look very natural on me. I said about the fitness thing and he said, there is going to have to be a compromise isn't there. The thing is, he was good...really good. His assessment of my body was more in line with what i was thinking about my body compared to the other PS who didn't do any of the measuring stuff....I had thought after that was weird. This PS did the skin fold, tape measured every part of my chest. I have to say I think he may be better for me. More expensive (bloody brighton). I hadn't thought about tear drop implants. The other thing is that this guy does 95% tear drop implants so of course he going to say I need them and the other guy does heaps of sub fascial so he going to say "go sub fascial. hmmm

  24. righto...well that all sounds pretty good really. Mine are 2,4,& 6 and my 2 YO is in a bed so that makes the cot thing better. My 4YO rides and scooters everywhere and my 2 yo would like to but due to her inability to take orders from me as her mother like "don't run on the road" she is in the pram. it is a single though....so that should be ok. I think as long as I can drive after week 1 I'll be fine. my PS is definitely on the cautious side. he said 6 weeks off gym...and there are girls on JBI who are told 3 weeks and back to whatever they like! I will just do it based on how i feel. Aim to have work covered and if I am up to classes, then good. Thanks!

  25. b day!!! happy B day to you! hope it has been ok so far.
