Frankie* reacted to Boobies for Mrs C in New boobies - thank you to everyone on the forum
Yesterday was surgery day for me and wow that came up quick!
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posts on this forum and who has shared their journey. I haven’t posted much myself cause I’ve found all the info I’ve ever needed was already there with a quick search.
The biggest help were the post op photos and comments saying that how they look straight away is not how they stay. I’ve gone under the muscle and without that knowledge I would have been so disappointed with how they look right now. But I know that through the d&f process they are going to keep looking better and better.
    So thanks again everyone xx

Good idea to enquire all over and I do agree that an in-person consult trumps CosMedi’s consults.
I didn’t have my consult until the day OF my surgery, as we flew into Thailand late the day prior. I was happy with this as had already asked a barrage of questions beforehand, and had a list to ask when I went into the consult. Interestingly enough, I had always presumed I’d be >300cc but when trying the implants in a bra and tshirt as part of the consult, he wouldn’t tell me what cc they were until I had made my final decision, so that I didn’t get hung up about actual size and it was more about what actually looked good for my body shape. Hence ending up with <300cc.

    Hi @Jamball ?
I’m a CosMedi girl and 3 months post op from surgery in Thailand.
@I HaveBoobs is 100% right about the price jumping. I think I had been initially quoted about 9,500AUD but my final invoice came to about 12,000AUD (not inclusive of flights). My case was not complex - just a lollipop lift and implants (250cc and 275cc). One of the girls that had her surgery the same time as me had tuberous breasts and she was so overjoyed with her outcome BUT she did have some minor complications afterwards and managed to get back to see the surgeon (not for further surgery, just for advice and assurance).
It would probably be worth getting back in touch with CosMedi (if you’re still considering them) and letting them know that you’ve seen another plastic surgeon face-to-face and what his recommendations were.
Sorry I’m actually from NZ so am unfamiliar with the surgeries that you’re talking about - are they both based in Sydney?

As good as Cosmeditour sounds please be weary as i know of girls that have been quoted a price only to have it jump 2 to 3 thousand dollars when they had their face to face consult with the surgeon on the day of your op  your's isn't  a straight forward procedure and like Dr Phoon said it will require fat grafting to the breasts and possibly diffrent sized implants or lowering the breast crease to release tight lower poles associated with tuberous breasts and you need a very skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon to perform this type of surgery,  i know the price seems like a lot but for my own  piece of mind i would take a little more time and save up the extra money to have it done at home as if things dont quite turn out right its another flight back to see your original surgeon and there is no guarantee that it will be fixed for free as there is always a cost involved plus  time away from family when you'll need them the most for support,  time off work , flight costs and accommodation ect, not saying you shouldn't do it but all these things to consider,  but let me ask you is your health really as cheep as 8,000 grand (sorry to sound blunt) , on a side note are any of the surgeon's experience in correcting anyone with tuberous breasts over there.

Glad to hear you are healing nicely ? oh, I hear ya with the side sleeping, I’ve started to sleep more on my side in the last couple of days (with pillows in front and behind for support). Ive tried on a couple of my old bras (that I used to wear with lots of padding) and they are too small so I’ll be enjoying thenew bra shopping in the coming months ? Yeah, my left has relaxed a little (started fluffing and dropping I think) but righty is taking its time, it’s softening slowly but I’m not surprised it’s taking its time seeing as I’m right handed. It’ll get there eventually ?

    Hi there @ACherish - welcome ?
I’m 27yo and am currently 13 days post-op - Surgery in Bangkok through CosMediTour. I live in NZ
W/regards to any standards to meet with weight etc, I think as long as you’re relatively healthy and at your ideal weight at time of surgery (and don’t plan to change it dramatically post-surgery) then you’re definitely a candidate - after a consult with a surgeon, obviously. BC pills aren’t an issue, I’ve seen some girls say that they stopped taking them - I think the antibiotics might render them void anyway?
It might be worthwhile having a consult with a surgeon (even if you’re not 100% that they’re “your one”) to answer any questions as well as assess your criteria and potentially tell you what will work and what won’t ? I had a consult here in NZ prior to booking through CosMedi and even though the NZ surgeon was unfortunately a jerk, he was very informative about risks, other questions, measured me up etc.

@Frankie* Oh that’s good to hear! Yeah drains aren’t pleasant but it’s amazing what comes out of you though. ? I took it easy in the first week but was back to my house duties in the second week. Can’t lift anything over 5kgs for the first 6wks, so keep that in mind.
Yep I’m doing well thanks! I’m so happy I’ve done this, don’t regret it at all! ? I got a new bikini top the other day (tie up around the neck & back). Pre op I was an 8 and wore padded bikinis but now I’m a 12 without the padding! ?

Thanks ladies! Made it out of surgery yesterday at about 5.30pm. Have been dozing for about an hour at a time through the night. The pain is just like so many have described - more like tender with a bit of pressure. Just got to have a peek when the nurses came to check my nipples (possible side affect of BA and BL can be impact on nipple blood supply, necrosis etc .. but all fine here!)
Ended up going for smooth Mod Plus Profile, Mentor Rounds. 250cc R, 275cc L (bit of asymmetry before).
For now just snacking on dry crackers and relaxing in hospital, got another night in hospital then out on Xmas Day! ?? Will put photos up when able soon!
