  1. I might do the same Flowerchild. I'm thinking I might pull mine up to my ribs during the night. MirMia I'm rely hoping its swelling too. I can't of put weight on there! I tried some bras I today and I'm definitely bigger than I was.
  2. I don't think I did have it near my ribs but my ribs are very swollen. They have got worse in the past few days. I have no swelling at all anywhere but my ribs. Did anyone else get rib swelling? I don't know what I can do so have wrapped a bandage around my ribs today to see if that makes a difference. Does anyone have any tips?
  3. I was wondering where your compression garment sits? I've had mine sitting low so that it covers the wounds and it basically sits up to the bottom of my ribs. I was wondering if it should be higher though to cover near the ribs where lypo was done. For some reason I started thinking that I should be keeping the lypo section compressed too. Silly question but thought I would ask. Thanks Molly

  5. I was wondering what the earliest was that people started light exercise. I'm now day 12 after my TT and feel fantastic. Day 9 and I was on here saying I didn't think I would ever feel good again. Well that day I decided to go against what my PS said and wear my compression belt. So glad I did because it made me feel 100% better. He won't care that I'm wearing it, he didn't like how it was leaving a mark on my tummy so said to leave it off but it hasn't left that mark again. I know I've put weight on in the last couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to going for say a 30min walk. When did you guys start doing this? Also do you think I would have to wait 6 weeks before riding an exercise bike. I'm not silly enough to take my feeling good too far and start exercising now. Tomorrow I will start by doing some very light house work and ease myself back into things. Molly
  6. Flowerchild what did you feel most comfortable in that wasn't trackies. Did you go with skirts?
  7. My swelling is quite bad today (day 10) so was happy to find this thread. I feel like its probably at its worse today and I've done nothing different to make it worse. I was wondering how much this effected what you wore when going back to work. I plan on wearing very lose clothing for the first few weeks but when I go back to work at 4 weeks this won't be possible.
  8. Another question. Do you think my back is extra sore because I'm not wearing the binder? I do feel extra support when I have it on but my PS has asked me not to wear it at all because he didn't like what it was doing to my skin.
  9. Tummymumma I didn't think about my back either. The only time my tummy hurts is if I sneeze, cough or laugh. Otherwise it just feels tight. I'm sure this will change once I start putting pants etc on.

  11. That is very exciting for you. I would ask about the recovery. I'm feeling very silly this week because I feel like I didn't look into the recovery too much. I thought it would be like my BA where I needed help for 1 week but after that I was able to do most things. By week 3 felt great. I'm now 1 week after TT and struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  12. When did everyone return to work after their TT? Also, do you have any tips for the dreaded sore back. By about 4pm yesterday I was in terrible pain from my back and couldn't stand up. I don't have pain anywhere but my back. Thank you Molly

  14. Hello, I hadmy TT on Tuesday and came home from hospital today. I've been talking lots today and have noticed that I'm getting short of breath. I feel like my lungs are fine. It's almost like my stomach is just squashed (bit like when you're 9 mths pregnant) and get short of breath. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before?
