  1. I'm not surprised!! It's very common these days for a lot of women to have difficulty!! (Half the time it's not difficulty it's the fact they can't be bothered trying and bottles are there) I found breast feeding ridiculously hard for the first two weeks and nearly gave up but I'm thankful I didn't. Mind you I was 19 when I had my daughter who is now 4 and for someone my age, breast feeding was 'weird' and bottle feeding is the way to go! I don't have a problem with ppeople bottle feeding, I was bottle fed, but I don't like people saying they CAN'T feed when they haven't tried! Sucks to be those who genuinely can't feed though! lol listen to me ranting on about breast feeding lol regardless did you say where u are getting your surgery??

    June 2013 :)

I'm getting very excited too!! Lol having some pretty intense dreams! It's getting very close! Ill be travelling with my best friend and her partner who have both been to Thailand before, my best friend had her BA last May in Thailand (they are fantastic) so that's pretty reassuring! It wwould've nice to know someone else over there at the same time as me though!! I will be staying in Phuket. Ill be in Thailand till June 30th
  3. I've just done a bit of google research and so it is! Either way has the same chances of affecting your milk supply! Wow that's a a myth thats now been eliminated! I have a friend who went over the muscle and she too is under the impression that this too was the case and she couldn't feed! She will be impressed to know she can! You will have to keep me updated on your surgery!

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum as of today on the 14th June i will be travelling to Thailand to have BA ill be having surgery on the 18th pf June at PIAC by Dr. Rushapol Sdawat I'm not slightly concerned about the surgery at all, in fact I'm probably a little too excited! Lol I haven't had breasts my whole life. I've always been less than an A cup (I filled an A when breast feeding my daughter for 2years) Iam 24 years old and there are so many concerns I have about the trip -currency exchange. Should I do it here of Thailand? -travel card (commonwealth) or my regular visa debit? -WHAT DO I TAKE WITH ME?? Ive never been overseas so I'm packing it lol ANY advice, info or story's would be Appreciated overseas travel is very daunting!!
  5. Thanks for your reply Sammy Kat!Joined the Facebook group just now! And I might copy this post into the June thread! Is this your first surgery? And what are you having done? Also do you usually bank with NAB? Or just for your travel card?
  6. Really? thats interesting to know. I've had 2 consults here in Australia and they told me I couldn't if I went over? As it blocks yyour milk ducts or some business? Hmm ill be looking into this lol and jessk I know I don't have much of a choice regardless I have no breast tissue lol bit sad
  7. I'd love to go over the muscle I hear recovery isn't near as bad! But I'm hoping to breast feed when I have my second child! If I was finished having children I would defiantly go over the muscle!! Do you have much existing breast tissue?
  8. Ill be having BA ill be going from like a Minus A cup lol to full C cup ill be going under the muscle having my surgery at PIAC by Dr Rushapol Sdawat what about you??? Ive been stressing about how low the exchange rate is at the moment too! I wish I exchanged 2 months ago llol apparently this is usually a bad time though and June picks up with a better rate
