  1. Probably today! But I have eased up on the pain meds considerably, just been taking regular nurofens today instead of the hard stuff. Every other day I took the panadeine fortes or endones religiously and had really minimal pain. Today its just the incisions hurting but not too badly at all. The worst part is just being so tired all the time and not being able to get a decent sleep, I usually sleep on my stomach so being on my back and all propped up is so unnatural to me:( Hows your recovery going so far?
  2. Wow yes yours has bruised up way more than mine ouch! I've been feeling good pain-wise luckily, today the incisions have been stinging a bit but thats about it! Was expecting soo much worse in the lead-up so I've been pleasantly surprised:)
  3. Ohh ok that's good to know then:) 420cc twins haha and only 2 days apart! I tried putting up some pics earlier but wouldn't work, I might try again now and we can compare:o
  4. Thanks girls:) yeh just the bruising, hadn't seen any for the first few days til right now so it caught me a bit by surprise. The blood is dry blood from day 1, they said that was normal and only should be concerned if new blood comes up!
  5. 4 days post op and just got out of the shower, incisions have been hurting mildly all day which I presume is normal, had a look and all red next to one of the dressings. Don't know if its normal bruising or means something's wrong? here are 2 pics:
  6. Thanks girls I was sure Dr Val had said much sooner than what the nurse was telling me today! Just had a quick look and I'm so happy! They look way smaller in the bra I took it off and was shocked haha but in a good way;) i noticed a bit of blood on the tapes is this normal??
  7. I know! And baths are not my thing just sitting there in dirty water ugh haha lucky i stocked up on the antibacterial wipes so I can at least wipe myself down and feel somewhat clean! Also any post-op girls how the hell did you get the texta marks off!
  8. New sig now too so exciting:p
  9. Finally!! Had my BA this morning with Dr Val at TCI, 420cc textured dual plane. I'm really not in too much pain been drifting in and out of sleep but finding it so hard to get comfy all propped up even with all my pillows:( my chests not painful so much as just uncomfortable! Sooo happy to finally have my new boobs, only looked at them with the post op bra, they don't look too frankenboobish thank god haha was expecting the worst, they're sitting high but not obscenely so I'm very happy. They look to be a good size so far so can't wait til they relax a little and I can take a proper look. In regards to my antibiotics I've got some inner health plus and know I have to stagger them, so if I'm taking antibiotics every 6 hours should I take my inner health plus just 3 hours later? how did everyone find sleeping for the first few days/level of pain did it go up/down or pretty constant? Also anyone that used dr Val or even TCI, I'm confused as to when I can shower cos I was sure in my consult he said day 2 and just pat the dressings dry. But today the nnurse told me baths only and don't get them wet at all, and I asked when I could shower and she seemed to think not for the whole week til my dressings are off! I neeed to showe by then or ill go crazy haha overall though I'm feeling pretty good, got out of recovery super fast and been home resting all day. Yay for my new boobies:)
  10. I haven't had surgery with him but I had my consult with him in April and booked in surgery, but then had to cancel cos I couldn't afford him:( love love love his work though and would 100% recommend him, know lots of people that have gone through him with amazing results. He costs $13,500 but if you can afford it then it's definitely worth it! He was lovely in the consult as well, makes you feel really comfortable and takes time to make sure he understands what you want. WIsh I could have got together the money in time to go with him:(
  11. Hey Mary, I have my surgery with Dr Val next Tuesday! I'll be sure to let you know how it goes:)
  12. I called up last friday (28th June) and booked in my consult and surgery (dates above) which was only about a 2 and a half week wait!
  13. I'm having my consult with Dr Val on the 13th July then surgery on the 16th! Not long now, feel free to FR me I'll definitely be keeping all the TCI girls updated on my progress:o
  14. Thanks Little L great detailed info:o
