  1. Hi, I was wondering if there were any other ladies on this forum that have congenital symmastia. I have this condition and I am 6 weeks post op of a BA. I am not completely happy with my procedure because I feel like my cleavage is not very defined. Are there any ladies that have this same condition and are more far along in recovery than me? Please share your experiences and I'd like to know if anyone has had any correctional surgery for this.
  2. So yesterday morning I had my consult and surgery with Dr Boonchai. It was such a pleasant experience and he is so lovely! Of course a bit clinical in his approach but does have a little bit of a giggle here and then and he definitely makes sure you know all that you need to. i decided upon 350s textured, round, unders and endoscopic transaxillary (through the armpit). I didn't want my boobs to have scars on them and Dr B said he can achieve better placement! Although it is longer recover especially combined with under the muscle, he said it's the scar that will be more important. Trying on the sizers were fun! I have a very small diameter so even 325 was pushing it but he gave me 350cc to try on and they were so much better than I chose them even though he said there would be a little bit of a risk. My boobs are also uneven so that means 325 in my bigger boob and 350 in my smaller boob. The nurses were so lovely and sweet. However in the operating room I was waiting on the table for a while, doctor wasn't in yet then one of the ladies said to take a deep breathe which I didn't understand what for until I realise it was the anaesthetic! I little warning would have been appreciated but I'm not really bothered Got back to my room and just in and out of sleep for the whole day. I tried to drink and eat but would vomit each and every time. My chest also felt like someone was sitting on it, breathing is a little bit difficult and you don't realise how much you use your chest muscles! Crazy. My boyfriend had to take me to the bathroom and feed me etc. Today is my 2nd day post op and I feel better but still really really sore. I had my drains removed and I was expecting it to be really painful as many of you girls said but not at all! I got to go home and just chilling in my room with room service and my boyfriend. He's been super good, I've also cried a few times but I'm not sure why. Also a few tips, if you have acrylics it might be better to get them removed in Australia. I went to Jungcylon and at a proper 'salon' it was going to cost 40/50 aud. in Australia, it costs about $20 so I found somewhere else that removed them for much cheaper but I was literally there for 2+ hours with her wrapping my nails in nail polish remover and tin foil and trying to scrape it off! Get a really good back massage because of all the sleeping up right you're going to be doing! And i recommend buying a posture support pillow from Target, costs lik $10 and it's the best thing ever! P.S I know it's only 2 days post op but... My boobs are really high and pointy and I know they're swollen but I'm wondering with D+F they will get bigger? Or I dunno! And had dr B ever measured you as a cup size when you tried on your sizers and you ended up being much smaller? Thank you ladies! I'll keep you up to date on my progress x
  3. Hi All, Ive booked surgery for a little under 2 weeks! I have been tossing up between the 325cc or 350cc Moderate Plus Profile Silicone Unders. I am a small B cup now and am hoping for a full C. I know we shouldn't talk in cup sizes but I am a little afraid of going too big or too small! I cant not imagine having D cup boobs on my frame! I am 173cm and approx 55kg. I've tried on the sizers at my PS office twice and have gone with the 325 both times and I've made rice sizers and like the look of the 325 (the 350 looks BIG - maybe too big) but I am so confused after reading and researching so much! Do you really loose size going under the muscle? My PS said no... He said the 350 will probably take me to a D but after reading so much on here there are so many varying results (which i know is due to everyone's starting breast being unique) Has anyone with similar stats had the 350 and thought it was too big? I am not really interested in a 'fake look' and I do feel that I will notice a good improvement with the 325 but i dont want to wake up and have 'boob greed' after spending all this money! Thanks everyone xx
  4. I had bilateral correction of tuberous breasts with mastoplexy and implants yesterday morning! I had stage 2 tuberous breasts. I thought I would write up my entire hospital journey as I figured it would help some girls put their minds at ease as I was quite nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect! (Which is completely normal). I woke arrived at the hospital at 7:17am and went to the main desk to check in. I was told to go up a level to the admission lounge. Once there I checked in at the second desk and told my name would be called shortly. The room was quite packed with other patience and their family. After around 15 minutes I was called by a lady who took me into a small room to go over my patient form and check all my details were correct. After that she told me to go out and wait in the lounge again where I would be called by my nurse. I was second on the list and called within 10 minutes. Once my name had been called my weight and height was checked and I was taken to a temporary room where I would change into my gown, compression stockings and little foot covers. A nurse came in and went over my details, she came in and out about 4 times. Another nurse came in and went over my details again. Next I was greeted by my surgeon, he marked me up and left. Straight after my anaesthetist came in and went over the anaesthesia with me, followed by his assistant. They then wheeled me into the theatre. I was shocked by all the people in scrubs in there! There was about 13+ people in the theatre. I wiggled from my temporary bed onto the theatre bed with the help of what I assume was one of the male nurses. I was also greeted by my surgeons assistant. The anaesthetist asked me what drink I liked and I replied with tea. He said something like "wha?!" and then I said I love cider too and his assistant agreed with me saying "I love cider too! The fruity stuff?" And I said "Yes! Apple is my favourite".He stood to the left of bed and asked what I do, I told him, and he and the male nurse asked further about it. The anaesthetist then inserted a needle into my left vain and continued talking. I felt the effects very fast, well within 2 minutes. At first I felt fuzzy... Kind of like when you are tipsy and feel good, hahaha. Then I felt sleepy and that's the last thing I remember until I woke up. I very, very slightly remember someone waking me up by saying my name and telling me it went very well and lifted my bra to show me my boobies. (I thought it was just me dreaming until I was later told when I woke up again that my surgeon visited me) I then woke up properly to a lady saying my name and being aware of what was going on around me and realising I was in the recovery ward. I felt very husky in the throat and had lost my voice a little bit, I was also still clearly tired. She put an oxygen mask on me. I felt pain in the crease of my breasts and bellow where the muscle is. The only way I can explain it is when you get a deep cut in your skin and multiply that pain x10. On a pain scale of 1-10 I told her it was a 7. She gave injected some pain relief into my drip and about 10 minutes later asked again. I said 4 and she said we want it about a 3, so she gave me another injection. The pain went down to a 3.5 and she gave me some more until it felt like I just had a tight chest. I told her "I feel good besides my sexy husky voice". During this process I had an arm slip and finger clip measuring my blood pressure and oxygen every 10 minutes or so. I waited around for 20 minutes until I was taken to my ward by 2 staff. I went out the door, up the elevator, around the corner and into a room with 5 elderly ladies in their hospital beds. I met my ward nurses who were just the most beautiful hearted women. They went over my details, checked my stitches and took off the top leg compression garment. They attached my blood drains to the bed and checked them. They commented at how bright and chirpy I looked. I felt so good! As if I hadn't had surgery, just a big arm day at the gym the previous day. They checked my blood pressure and oxygen every 30 minutes for the next 5 hours or so. I was given tea, cheese and crackers by one of the food staff. My nurse gave me my tea but told me I was not able to eat just yet. As you probably expect you really have to pee after surgery! Haha. So I told my nurse and she un-attached my drains, put them in a pillow case. She got me to sit at the edge of the bed to check that I wouldn't get nausea or faint. Again, I felt awesome! She carried my drip stand to the bathroom for me and I went with no issue. Once I was done she helped me back to my bed. I was given a big jug of water which I skulled down and was served a delicious dinner not long after. A tomato and chicken dish, veggie soup, bread roll, fruit salad and apple juice. I scoffed it down like I hadn't eaten in a week! I didn't feel sick at all from eating or drinking. They continued to checked on me and my drip was taken out at about 7:30pm but they left the needle in my arm so they could continue giving me the antibiotic. I had to go to the bathroom again and I started to feel pain at the side of my breasts. I was given some pain drugs with soothed the pain. I didn't feel tired so I watched movies until about 1:30am. Every 4 (I think) hours a nurse would come and give me an antibiotic through the needle in my arm. It is a very weird feeling have something cold pushed through your vain! Eventually I turned the TV off and just lay hoping to get tired. I think my lack of tiredness was due to having such a deep sleep from the anaesthesia combined with the adrenaline from everything going on around me. I dosed off at about 2:30am and fell in and out of sleep. The lights in the ward turned back on around 7:30 and I was given breakfast (eggs Benedict, bacon, peaches, wheatbix, orange juice, tea and toast) and pain medication not long after. Then my Surgeon visited me to see how I was and check how they were. He was very happy and left. The nurse came and took out my drains at 9:20. I did not feel them being taken out but afterward I become very hot, sweaty, light headed and nauseated. This was the first time a felt sick during the entire ordeal. I pressed the button for the nurse and she moved my bed so my legs were elevated higher and the rest of my body lower. After 10 minutes I felt much better and got dressed. I then signed my dispatch form and left! I am now home resting in bed with very little pain and ready to have a nice rest and watch Netflix! I highly recommend an overnight stay if you have the option (and private health insurance). I felt so well cared for. I am a very healthy person but I feel like I would have felt like crap if I hadn't chosen to stay the night. I can tell all the professional care has had a great effect on my healing. I am positive I am going to have a very successful and fast recovery because of it. I am now home and extremely happy. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Trotter and the rest of the team at Epworth Richmond. I highly recommended Dean, he's very talented. From my first email I could tell I would be in very good hands with him.He was the only surgeon that personally answered all my questions and really expressed that he wanted the best for me. I didn't bother seeing any other surgeons for consultations. My instinct was correct and I can finally look down and see the breasts I was meant to have. He gave me 350cc moderate plus on each breast. I had hesitations that 350cc would not give me the size I hoped for but I can well and truly say they are spot on and are already perfect. Please feel free to message me if you would like information on Medicare, PHI, photos, etc. I know I was lost when I started researching and it was so much help to have girls answer my questions with their knowledge and personal experience .
  5. Hi, I'm new to this forum and signed up because I need some opinions on sizing My breast augmentation is booked in for January the 19th 2015, so it's a 7 week countdown now woooo! I'm very excited, but my indecision on the size is stressing me a little. My surgeon was kind enough to order both sizes while I decide. I should preface this with some stats... I'm currently an A cup 172cm tall and my weight is roughly 70kgs I am not seeking big boobs really, I just want them to be in proportion with my body. I also want them to look as natural as possible, so I am going with anatomical implants (Mentor, moderate plus) The first surgeon I had a consultation with recommended 275cc and I was pretty comfortable with this recommendation. However the surgeon I ended up going with (for a number of reasons) recommends AT LEAST 305cc but thinks 350cc will look much better. He estimates the 305cc will give me a C cup and the 350cc will probably give me a D cup. I never imagined I'd go bigger than a C cup. The reason I'm confused is that when I decided to get breast implants the image I had in my head looks like the 305cc implants (my surgeon has this super high tech photo imaging program which pretty much shows you the photoshopped image of your own chest with new boobs when you put the implant specifications in, which is awesome!) The reason I am so confused is because I trust the judgment of my surgeon - who is adament that the 350cc implants will look better - but on this site girls who have much smaller frames than me seem to be getting much bigger implants. I've read numerous times that the only regret girls seem to have is not going bigger, which is what my surgeon says too. I realise that the difference between 305cc and 350cc isn't tooooo much, but I will be aware of it. I feel like I'll look so top heavy with the 350cc, though it may be that I'm just not used to it. Also, I forgot to ask my surgeon this but if anyone knows that'd be awesome. When I have children in the future (probably a fair few years away) I'd like to breastfeed. It is likely that my boobs would sag a little after the breastfeeding, even with implants in? So when I eventually get new ones in I'd have to go bigger because of the excess skin? So pretty much this is a dilemma over what I think I want to achieve, and the advice of someone who knows better than me as to what will look really good. Any opinions or comments would be greatly appreciated, it's playing on my mind constantly!
  6. Hi all, I can't decide what size I want ... I am a small B and I want a D! When I try the implants I'm thinking 350cc but everyone says go up a size because ull be disappointed, so 375cc.. But I'm scared they won't look nice if they are too big... I'm 165cm and 50kgs! Arrghh this is so hard !!
  7. Hi girls, I am fairly new on here and go in for surgery next week! Would love to hear any feedback from girls who have got 350cc implants? Are they just right? Anyone wish they had gone that little bit bigger? I am 167cm tall and 54.5kg, going for Mentor High Profile, under the muscle, 350cc implants or possibly the 375cc! xx
  8. Hi girls, Just wondering if anyone has been in the same shoes with selecting a size between 350cc and 375cc, I know the difference is so minimal but scared that going 375cc will make me wish I had gone smaller and 350cc make me wish I had gone that little bit bigger!! Think I am more scared of being too big!! I am currently around a B cup but don't fill out the cup! I am getting Mentor silicone high profile under the muscle. If anyone could provide experience or info would be greatly appreciated!! Doing my head in!!
  9. Hi Ladies, So I have my BA booked for the 14th Dec and I'm so excited! The only thing I'm worried about is what size to go! I'm a tiny size 6 and my ps have suggested a 325cc on my right 350cc on the left under the muscle! I don't know if I should stick to the 325cc on the right thought because I'm going under I have heard you lose a bit of the size but then because I'm so small I don't want to look HUGE and ridiculous! Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
