  1. Hi ladies I am heading to Phuket in March to get my BA and I have received recommendations/ inital consultations from both Dr Piyapas and Dr Thanakom and I was wondering if anyone has used either of them. If so, would you be able to share your review.
  2. My story is this... I've always loved boobs, i find them sexy and so feminine! When i was just 5 i remember jumping up and down in front of the bathroom mirror and asking my mum "are they moving yet? Can i buy my first bra now?", and when i did get my first bra (i still had no boobs at this point) i loved wearing it, it made me feel so grown up! By the age of 16 i came to the sad realisation that i was forever doomed to have small boobs thanks to my asian genes! I was a 10B and not getting any bigger. I think it was a year later that i started looking into BA's, looking at different results, what the procedure entailed, costs etc. At this point i had zero dollars so never thought it to be an option in the near future. I never hated my breasts pre op but at 22 i decided i was going to start saving for a BA, i wanted to enjoy and love my body in its prime years and i knew if i was going to get a BA i would rather it sooner while i was still young rather than when i became older. I found the surgeon i wanted "Dr. Bruce Fox" (Melbourne Dr.) whose rates go down in spring to around $9500 for a BA. About 6 months later i relocated to Perth to be with my boyfriend - it was in Perth that i found out about Bangkok Hospital in Phuket. A friend i made had had her breasts done there, it was the first time i had ever felt fake breasts and i was in awe! They felt so soft and natural! She couldn't rave enough about the care they had given her, and stated she hated the bad stigma overseas surgeries are given. She had booked through a third party company "Restored Beauty Getaways" who organised everything for her but with a fee. I decided to do my research about her hospital and "RBG". Initially i was planning to go through "RBG" however thought i would try book directly through the hospital first. I had already found the surgeon i wanted (Dr. Piyapas), so filled out an online form and waited for them to get back to me. I heard back within 24 hours!!! Anyways long story short - i booked my surgery date through the hospital instead of a third party which saved me about $1500 (booking my own flights and access was cheaper to do myself as well). The surgery cost $4200 - which included: Surgery, pre op appointments, post op appointments, pre op tests, 1 nights stay in hospital, and transfer to and from hospital for all appointments as well as pick up and drop off to airport. On top of that i spend $450 on return flights and $450 on 10 nights accommodation. I cannot tell you enough how amazing the care was. The nurses are absolutely lovely and there to help you so quickly, the hospital is....splendid. Never been in such a nice hospital before, it was more like a resort. Dr. Piyapas really knows his *****, he is on the American Board of Plastic Surgery, travels to Perth and around the world for conferences, and does 3-5 surgeries a day! The day after i arrived was my pre op appointment, tests and also day or surgery (it's all very rushed as it is an overseas surgery) however there are no upfront hospital fees, and if you decide not to go through with it, the only cost you have to pay if for the test that are done prior to surgery (adding up to less than $100). I initially went into my consult wanting anatomical implants - i was all for the natural look. I didn't want rounded melon i wanted teardrop. I told Piyapas i wanted to be a medium to large C cup and then showed him photos of what i wanted exactly (First note: its hard to tell your surgeon to make you a cup size, as its hard for them to put in exactly that amount to get you to your wanted size, instead find photos of the size you want on your body and show your surgeon, it easier to get results you want that way!) Piyapas advised me against anatomical, he showed me the implant and let me feel it against a round, it was MUCH firmer with a textured shell, he said the cons didn't outweigh the pros with anatomical, and also promised me he believed he would be capable of achieving the look i wanted with round. I was skeptical but i agreed. Note: Listen to your surgeon, they really know what they're doing! When i woke up from surgery i was so groggy, it took me a good 4 hours of being in and out of sleep to finally wake up properly. I woke up in barely any pain, just slight burning where the incisions were, but that went away within half an hour (i had a drip in my arm which administered pain medication). I felt nausea from the medication twice and as soon as i said so, my partner would ring the buzzer for the nurse to come who would instantly administer pain medication - it literally took affect within 30 seconds and i felt fine. I had drains in me which made me cautious to move to much, but had icepacks placed where the drains entered under my breasts that felt really soothing. I was discharged the next day, Piyapas came to see me and tell me how surgery went and how i should care for them until my next appointment. He then took the drains out of me - this was super weird and uncomfortable, i had read about it before so knew to put on a strong face, it doesn't hurt exactly...its just...weird! But only takes 5 seconds each drain! The first two days i was really sleepy, but by day three i was wondering the streets. Day four was my follow up and revealing. Oh my god...i knew they would look weird..but seeing that on my own body!! They weren't exactly high placed, they already had a nice natural slope, but they were to point and veiny. I was actually quite upset once i'd gotten back to the hotel, i thought i'd made a massive mistake. (Piyapas uses a sealing glue instead of stitches, much nicer in my opinion!) Post op day 9 was my final check up appointment Piyapas showed me how to massage my breasts and gave me further post op care, he also said to check in with a GP back home in a couple of weeks just to make sure the incisions were healing fine! The first 6 weeks there is massive change in your breasts these were my favourite weeks! I have since pretty much forgotten that I've even had a BA, i can do everything as i use to - sleep on my tummy, lift heavy things etc and i don't even realise they are there. They're so soft now as well! I literally had the best experience, i would jump on a plane and do it all over the reason i never wrote my story on here was because i found a sub group on instagram where girls make boob accounts and post their questions or stories to help other girls, i found it much easier to communicate through that so made my own private boob account, however I've recently deactivated it (but while i had it four girls who liked my breasts booked in with my surgeon, and i helped other girls with their questions across the globe). If you're considering getting it done for you and you really want it, i can't recommend it enough. But only if you really want it! I actually freaked out a week before i was due to fly to Thailand and nearly backed out, but i knew it was just nerves and that if i did back out i would regret it and just rebook in the future. xx GKerr
  3. After 3 years breast feeding I am so excited to be 6months from booking in for my BA! would love to hear from anyone looking around the same time, decision made to go with group or solo, and which surgeons. TIA , L
  4. Good morning girls! I arrived in Phuket last night, ready for my BA with Dr Piyapas on the 12th (Thursday). So far everything has gone according to plan, except two people showed up at the airport with my name on their card! One from PIAC and one from BHP. I felt so bad for the girl from PIAC, as I cancelled my plans with Dr Boonchai sometime last year and decided to go with Piyapas instead. They replied saying everything has been cancelled, but turns out they didn't forward the message on. I do have to say though, that the PIAC rep, Nadia, who came to pick me up was represented so well. And she was so kind and understanding! The man from BHP was also very kind, and helpful. Did anyone tip their drivers? Next time I see him, I'm planning to. We arrived at the Hemingway Silk Hotel after a roughly 1 hour drive, and I am super pleased with the service and room here. It's also close to heaps of places. Today, I will be going to exchange cash to baht, in prep for my surgery tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated through this thread
  5. Hi girls, I am going to Phuket with a group surgery company in September for revision BA. (But flying solo and partner is meeting me there). I am still undecided on whether to see Dr Piyapas or Dr Pongsakorn for my surgery. Would love to hear from anyone who has seen either doctor and if you've got photos that would be amazing! Just need something to reference to. I look forward to hearing from you xx
  6. Hey guys, 12 days post op from reduction, lift and implants. Dr. piyapas at BHP. Amazing! Posted pics if you want to see incisions, sizing, etc. took 10.5 hrs and was out into ICU for obs overnight afterwards. Took long because he put 300cc's in both closed and wasn't happy. So reopened left and put in 325, not all surgeons would do this but he is a perfectionist, you can tell by his stitch work. Boobs are swollen in that before and after pic so they look a bit high and tight. FR to see photos xx
  7. Has anyone had an experience with Dr. Piyapas for BA + BL. Just booked for the 1st of May, wondering if anyone had any before and after pics they'd like to share. I'm nervous after seeing my friend have a botch job in AUS, with some badddd double bubble. All the reviews I've read are good. Any tips on what to pack, my partner and I will be going to bali first for a holiday while I'm still able to swim
  8. Hi Ladies. I've read ALOT about TIC in Sydney and it seems to be a very popular decision! I have wanted to go with Dr Piyapas at Bangkok hospital and have heard great things about both him and TIC Help! What do I do?
  9. Now I've looked into TCI a lot more I am thinking of possibly getting my BA done there instead of Thailand with Dr Piyapas. But I have no noticed all the surgeons at TCI are only cosmetic where as in Thailand they are Plastic surgeons and some reconstructive surgeons which are better and higher qualified. At the end of the day, is there much of a difference between Cosmetic or Plastic surgeons? Opinios please!
  10. Hello girls! Just wondering who had had dr piyapas and if you's would post pictures if his work or before and afters thanks xx
  11. Hi ladies! I am heading over to Thailand for a BA as part of a group with Restored Beauty Getaways in September this year. SO EXCITED! I think I have decided on Dr Piyapas on my surgeon from reading so many positive testimonials. I'm currently about a 12A looking to go to a full C or D. Would LOVE to hear from anyone who has had Dr Piyapas, or has had surgery booked through Restored Beauty about their experience and any recommendations! Thanks! x
  12. Hi ladies, I am using cosmedi tour and have just received my quotes and recommendations from two great surgeons in Phuket. Now I gotta decide which one to go with... Dr boonchai has given me exactly the same recommendation as a Brisbane surgeon (teardrops) and piyapas says round unders. Hmm, I am a little cautious of the teardrops cos they can rotate... Can anyone who has used these docs help me out a bit pllleeeaaassseee? I'm wanting to book for early march yay!!
  13. Hi ladies, I am looking into getting my boobies done in Phuket early next year and have had a consult with Cosmedi Tour who are sourcing quotes & recommendations from Phuket International Hospital & Bangkok Hospital Phuket & all the surgeons. I am steering towards Dr Piyapas at the moment as a girlfriend got hers done a few months ago and is so thrilled with them. Anyone else used him?? Am just seeking out anyone that has had a BA in Phuket, and who they recommend & experiences. Also, anyone looking at going soon to get them and how it's all going with the arrangements, decisions etc. Be great to hear from you all. 3 days til Xmas....eeekkkk!! haha Cheers, Maz
