  1. Hi y'all! I'm a 23 year old female from a south-east Asian background. I had my first double eyelid surgery operation when I was 17 by Dr Andrew Kim in Melbourne, Australia. My initial operation and the subsequent revision surgeries that he preformed were totally botched and I've been left with asymmetry and a deformed fold on my left eye (please refer to the attached photo). After years of hating my appearance, regretting my decision to ever have the surgery, and completely losing all trust in surgeons, I have finally found the courage to look into possibly undergoing revision surgery. I was just wondering whether anyone in Australia could recommend an experienced plastic surgeon to me who specialises in double eyelid surgery (also known as asian blepharoplasty). I'm specifically looking for a plastic surgeon, not a cosmetic surgeon (like Dr. Andrew Kim). I'm based in Melbourne, but would be willing to travel interstate for a more experienced and respectable doctor. Please let me know if you or someone you know has any recommendations for me.
  2. Hi ladies, I am having a BA in Thailand, Bangkok at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital next month, my surgeons name is Dr. Narongdej, I'm really excited and nervous at the same I'm more worried as I haven't Hurd from anyone that has had this procedure done by Dr. Narongdej or seen any reviews or before and after photos, so I was hoping that someone here has I'd really appreciate the help and advice Thanks again
  3. I've been doing some research on rhinoplasties because I'm thinking about getting one and I found this online. If you are an expert, and you have 5 minutes, could you help me out on some doubts I have about my nose? Any comment (really, any!) or advice would be much appreciated and would help me! I've been thinking for a long time about getting a rhinoplasty... On one hand I'm not even sure I want to go through with it because given that my nose is not that bad, it's easier for it to end up looking worse than it is now. And I know it's a fairly complicated operation. I know I don't have a massive nose, and I have to say it doesn't really bother me when I'm not smiling and from the front. The first thing is that I'd like the nose to be a bit closer to my face, so some deprojection. -The fact that I have a small chin doesn't help make my nose look smaller (but I don't mind having a small chin and I do mind my nose).- A part from that I think maybe the tip needs work in two ways: make it a tiny bit smaller (you can see the roundness of it it's a bit big specially when smiling) and turn it up a little bit so it doesn't drop when I smile. I think I don't mind too much that my nostrils get big when I smile. I think you wouldn't even notice they get big if the tip didn't drop and was smaller. What I'm scared about only changing the tip and not the nostrils is that maybe the nostrils would be too visible (even when serious) a bit like a pig, or even worse, very unnatural. I have been reading about facial proportions and supposedly the nose width should be the same as the eye width. This happens when I'm serious, so making it smaller would look to artificial with a relaxed face...? I have also seen photos like this: I think the tip has been reduced but I feel the final result looks very unnatural and even scary (Michael Jackson-like) given the width of the columella(?). I'd really just like to know if there's a lot of chances of making my nose worse if I did go through with it or seems like an easy result to achieve. Thank you, Any comments would be appreciated, I hope to hear from you given this is very important to me, but I understand if I need to book a consultation. Best,
  4. Hi, I am wanting to get a rhinoplasty done to improve/create nice contours in my nose from the frontal view. (like what celebrities often do such as Delta Goodrem, Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, etc) I do NOT want to change my nose from the side-view as it is small, concave and has NO humps/bumps on the dorsal. So what I am looking for is to change my frontal contours of my nose whilst not compromising the overall look/shape of my nose from the side view. I also have THICKER nasal skin for a caucasian, which I know can sometimes be more difficult to operate on. I have heard great things about Dr Shahidi, Dr Mooney and Dr Zacharia. However on Dr Shahidi's website there only seems to be pictures from the side view which is basically irrelevant to me. If there is anyone else who was in a similar situation but went through with rhinoplasty (i.e only wanting to improve the FRONT view of their nose) could you please let me know your experiences and any recommendations for surgeons. I would greatly appreciate it, Thanks!
  5. Hello everyone, I am fairly new to the forum but I am finding it really difficult to choose a surgeon for a BA. I am currently a small A cup and want to go to a full B. so if anyone has had surgery with similar requests to me I would love to hear your feedback. I have been looking at getting a BA for years but always leave it as I can't find a surgeon to follow through with. I want to have a natural and believable outcome but I find that the before and after photos always show people with large implants. If anyone has any recommendations for surgeons that would be great!! Dr Tony Connell is currently my pick but I am yet to see any photos of his work. Thanks everyone!!
  6. Hi ladies, Total novis here! Just wondering if any Perth ladies have feedback on Dr Duncan Smith. I have my first consult in a few days to discuss implants. How were your results & how much did it cost overall? (cost is a factor for me) I have been referred his details as well as Dr Connells but I think Connell will be out of my budget. I'd also love to hear from any ladies who saw some of the 'cheaper' surgeons in Perth. I am tall, athletic build with approx 10B boobs which are droopy after 2 kids. Ta
  7. Hi girls, I was wondering if anyone has had their tuberous breasts corrected in Melbourne, and which surgeon did they choose? Please tell me all about your experiences in detail. I am desperate to get mine done, and I have no idea where to start. Thank you!
  8. Hi! I'm in the process of searching for a reputable rhinoplasty surgeon located in Melbourne and i'm a bit lost on where to begin. This has been something i've wanted to have done for a long time and so i'm extremely cautious as to who i choose, as the nose is the centre piece and important feature of our face! If anyone has any recommendations or advice, it would be greatly appreciated - of well known surgeons around Melbourne, Australia. Also - how much am i looking at in terms of cost? I understand this could vary depending on what's involved. Thankyou!
  9. Hi everybody, I have lost kg 50kg in weight and am roughly where I want to be with it. Now i have lots of saggy skin on my stomach, arms, thighs and bum and then of course my boobs. I am in Townsville and we do have plastic surgeons here but i can not find any information on them at all. So now I am wondering if I should go to Brisbane or Sydney or Melbourne or even Adelaide. I would really appreciate any information on good surgeons and rough costs as I would need to save for this. Or win the lotto. Of course if there is anybody out there who can give me information on Dr Ian Tassen or Dr Marc Voucek (the local guys) I would be happy as well, as I would prefer not to travel. However if that is the way to go then I travel.

  11. Hi all, My internet research (mainly through this forum) helped me narrow down to 3 PSs - Dr. Bloom, Dr. Mirkazemi & Dr. Rahdon. At this point I have my first consult booked in with Dr. Bloom next week - and am very excited! I'd love any feedback from anyone who has seen any of these doctors, or who has had a really excellent experience with someone else in Melbourne (and surrounds). I'm really unsure as to size / shape / placement etc. at this point, and am hoping to have a much better idea after my appointment Again, any advice is appreciated! I'm 175cm, 58kg (size 8-10), currently 12A-B. xx Bec

  18. I am currently an F cup and want to stay around that size.... id also be happy with an DD/E. But i also want perky breasts that look great without a bra on. Being a natural F cup gravity has obviously won the battle.. not tooo much but enough for me to be self concious. Has anyone had both a reduction and implants? Or a reduction/lift/implants? Any info would be so helpful, Surgeons? Cost? I have just started the journey and know very little. Im in melbourne but happy to travel interstate. Or even overseas. Ty xx
  19. Has anyone had a BA performed by Dr Katsaros in Adelaide? And wee you happy? Thoughts.... Thank you
  20. Hi, I'm wanting to know some recommendations of plastic surgeons in Adelaide who are familiar with self inflicted scars and can reduce their size in terms of width so they are less noticeable. My scars have been healed for quite some time now and the pigment is good, however people still notice them and I'd love to reduce as many as I can. Thanks.
  21. Hey ladies!! Im new to this forum... I am wanting to get my boobs done this year, and had decided on Dr Miroshnik. His before and afters on the instagram page are amazing!! He seems like the surgeon to go to for natural looking boobs, and especially if you have hardly any boobs like me. I had only just recently noticed that he does Anatomical implants ALOT. Does anyone know if this is all he does? From reading the chats on here and looking at round and anatomical implants, anatomical seem to be the way to go if I want natural looking boobs, and already have a small frame to start with. Ive also seen on the TCI instagram, they look like they do a decent job.. Whats everyones recommendations? I thought going with Dr. Miroshnik would be the way to go even though he would cost alot, compared to going through TCI which is alot cheaper.. My thoughts were, if I had any complications after surgery, I would be able to afford another $12k with Dr. Miroshnik!! Any help would be apprciated!!
  22. Hi ladies So here's my story: 18months ago I gave birth to my 3rd child, a gorgeous little girl. Circumstances surrounding her birth weren't ideal and we both nearly lost our lives. I also have 2 boys who are now nearly 3 and 8, so the past 8 years have been completely dedicated to raising my children, they are number 1 and always will be! My gorgeous partner finally popped the question and now Im getting married
  23. Hi There, I'm considering some fairly extensive liposuction (3-4 areas) and I'm in need of some honest and straightforward feedback on Sydney's best surgeons. I'm not afraid to pay for quality, but I won't be able to spend more than $15,000 including all fees. I've never had any other cosmetic procedures and as a result, have no idea which surgeons are trustworthy and which aren't so much. The cosmetic institute has the best pricing, but do they do good work? Your thoughts? Thanks in advance!
  24. I NEED ADVICE!!! Basically i am currently booked in with dr kwok at TCI in sydney. Im from melbourne so travelling interstate to have it done then flying home two days later. i had a consuly with dr craig rubinstein here yesterday and like him now i dont know who to choose. Rubinstein is alot more expensive but obviously being in melbourne i would receive all the aftercare i need following surgery. I love dr kwoks work and heard nothing bad about him but im just concered about the after care and checkups being from melbourne. They tell you to see you GP for checkups but is that really ideal after having major surgery. What if something goes wrong; bottoming out, double bubble, infection, capsular contraction or i need revision. I just dont know what to do, any advice or help would be much appreciated. Anyone who has travelled interstate to TCI, what do they offer in terms if something does go wrong. so worried dr kwok - $ 9000 - $9500 this is how much it will cost all up with fights accom urgery post op bras meds capsular gaurentee, speding money and ill be there for a week so its like a mini vacation as a have a few days before surgery. dr rubinstein $12300 this is how much with dr craig rubinstein. this is all inclusive, overnight stay in hospital, post op bras, and if anything goes wrong he wil do a revision ect. and of course the after are support and checkups with craig THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE - THIS SITE HAS BEEN TRULY AMAZING IN HELPING WITH MANY OTHER THINGS XOX
  25. Hi ladies, my first post on this forum! I have been going to consultations for breast augmentation. I am currently an 8A 5ft 6 and 50kg. I originally wanted to fill a C cup but then this thing called 'boob greed' has got hold of me and now I'm aiming for a D!! I've seen surgeons in Brisbane and the Gold Coast who have different opinions from each which isn't helping me. I've also FR some of you on here who have similar stats to me to try and get clearer in my head the cc I require to achieve nice big boobs!! One surgeon that I really like has said he wont take me above 315cc dual plane XHP as he says my breast width is 11cm and the 315 is already just over 11cm...not sure quite what this means. Another surgeon has said I can go up to 360cc. All surgeons have recommended tear drop as I have quite a bony chest I'd say and I don't want to look like they're stuck on although I do want to feel full. So any help, advise, feedback would be most appreciated. my husband wants me to get it done asap as he's sick of hearing me talk about only this subject, but I obviously want to get it right. Many thanks in advance of any comments. : )
