Hello, I am looking into getting a tummy tuck and I am 55kgs. I'm finding it hard to find pictures and stories of women who've had the procedure who are petite and or very fit/toned. If there is anyone here, I'd love to hear from you and/or see pictures if you're willing to share them. Thank you

Hi there. I am having a BA and TT in August. As a side sleeper, I'm a little nervous about this! Just wondering if anyone can provide further details about having to sleep upright? How long for? How many pillows behind you? What's the reason behind this? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone. I am really interested in getting a mummy makeover. (Tummy tuck, breast lift, implants, brazilian butt lift etc) I am a size 6 but I've been left with saggy breasts, and a stretched tummy. I would like to know if anyone has had a Mummy Makeover overseas with any of the combination surgeries above, and who they went to and how happy you are with the results. I am not interested in anything in Australia as I am looking for a more affordable solution that will get the same results, (and performed with the same amount of hygiene and expertise) Thanks!

I'm 5'3 and was over 125kg by my early 20s. I'd been obese since my earliest childhood memory and stayed that way until 2010. Something finally clicked and I lost 60kg through fitness and nutrition, but I was left with a large pouch of loose skin on my tummy, flabby thighs, as well as a fatty mons pubis. I ignored it at first, but it started to get me down because I could never fully escape my years of obesity. It began to weigh me down both physically and mentally... Once I finished uni and got a job, I finally made the decision to go for a tummy tuck and lipo. There were three plastic surgeo

Hi everyone, I am a Brisbane based mum researching surgeons in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a tummy tuck. So far I have had one consultation with Dr Kane, and I have 3 more booked in with Dr Terrance Scamp, Dr Paul Belt and Dr Lily Vrtick. I was wondering if any ladies who have had tummy tucks with these Drs, would be willing to share their experience and/or results? Or suggest any other Brisbane and Gold Coast Doctors? One of my main concerns is having a scar as low as possible, and preferably straight, & neat looking. Thanks so much!

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and planning on getting an abdominoplasty. *pics in the gallery* - just send me a friend request I'm looking for someone in the Geelong region - can anyone provide reviews and details of their experiences with particular surgeons? I had one consult but I've only been in hospital once in my life, so this is a huge deal for me... I am so scared but I want this more than anything. I have BUPA private health insurance so can anyone give me details about costs and getting money back? I'm 5'3 and was 125+kg at a young age. I lost a lot of weight through fitness a

Hi Ladies, I'm just hoping for some feedback on costs of your Tummy Tuck surgeries and length of stay needed in hospital. Financially I don't want to stay in hospital at all after the surgery...it's just so crazy expensive on top of an already expensive procedure. However, I do actually WANT to stay in hospital (away from the 3 kids) so I can recover properly. Champagne taste beer budget! I am yet to have an initial appointment with any Plastic Surgeons yet (I'm in Brisbane)... but I'm not sure if certain plastic surgeons use more expensive hospitals, or force you to stay in longer e

Appreciate any advice

Many women benefit from tummy tuck procedures, but should be advised that it should not be used as a substitute to proper exercise and nutrition. Women who have experienced a large weight loss or who don't plan on becoming pregnant in the future are good candidates for this technique. Prime candidates are non-smokers, those in good health, and those who are experiencing stable weight.

Hi I am new to this forum and just thought I would share my TT and lipo story with you as I am now one year post TT surgery. I had my procedure done with Dr Suchart at Bangkok International Hospital. Overall I was very happy with the work and the care. I ended up staying in hospital 4 nights as the surgery was much greater than I had anticipated. Originally when i had sent Dr Suchart my pictures he said he would be able to perform lipo on me, but when we met face to face and he saw the amount of abdominal fat I needed removed, he said a full tummy tuck was the only way! I had come all the wa

Hi ladies : ) Ive been stalking this website for a while for info. But haven't found much on two surgeons that my gp has referred me to. I'm looking to get a tt, muscle repair, tummy lipo, and maybe a breast lift. Depending on the cost of it all. Like most people here my beautiful 10 and 7 pound kids (plus that pesky gravity) are to blame for my figure Lol : ) at this stage I have a referral for dr Anthony Kane. And dr Dan Kennedy. I haven't been to the first consults yet. Could any one with previous experience with either of these two doctors please let me know the average

Hi All. Well I finally had my tummy tuck yesterday so will start to write about my experience. Not sure if I make it all in one go becos I get tired & typing on an iPhone is annoying. So here goes: Day 1: Had to be at the hospital by 10. Surgery was scheduled for 11. But my surgeon fell behind. Anyway by about 12.30 I got called in to prep, my awesome surgeon came & had a chat. I was surprisingly calm. He got his texter out & marked where my scar will be. Talked to me about pain relief & asked if I would like a catheter afterwards so I wouldn't have to strain myself using

Mother's guilt is setting in big time here. I'm leaving this Thursday and have to stay till the 8 th March. I ve got 2 girls 6 & 3 and a little boy 17 months. I'm pretty sure the older two will be ok but I worry about my little man. He s pretty clingy and has never spent a night without me there. I just need some reassurance. If you have kids of similar ages... Please tell me they barely noticed you were gone! Did you Skype every day or did that make it worse?

I would just like to start off saying that I started my experience just after the explosion on the forums about the lack of service from GHT. To be honest this concerned me a LOT however I had paid and was left little option except grin and bare it!!! Well to my surprise the experience was AMAZING, LIFE CHANGING, TOUCHING, PERSONALISED..............and so on! I had Rhinoplasty and a BA and could not praise them enough, that Patient Care Team were little god sends to me and wanted to pack them up and bring them home. I made several friends that I will keep forever and trust me in the end I w

Hi everyone. Im a newbie and I was wanting to get a TT. I was hoping to go to Thailand, preferably Bangkok and preferably Bumrungrad with Dr preeyaphas (Dr P). I have researched to death and read nearly everybody's fab threads which have given me extra ordinary insight to what I am to expect. Therefore, thank you all so much for sharing. I was wanting to just go through the Hospital and do all other requirements like flights, accom etc my self - instead of going through an agency like Thaimakeovers etc. There seems to be enough back up if I go this way and I like the flexibility of me or

well I went for my gp consult today to get a referal for abdominoplasty on the public system (waiting list) and was hoping to get some kind of answer if I was even eligable. I ended up getting a referal to see the doctor I wanted but she has put consult for apronectomy NOT abdominoplasty, So all in all I have left confused, should it say lipectomy? abdominoplasty or should it say evaluation is needed for type of surgery? and after all of this I still don't know if I'm eligible. Is it up to my GP to evaluate eligibility for waiting list "medicare health care covered surgery" or is it upto the

Hi there, This is my first post, so not sure I'm in the write spot or doing it correctly! I had my first consult with Dr Michael Richards about TT and was wondering if anyone else has used him with success? He seems very nice, professional and I was referred to him by my GP ( whom I trust). But I guess knowing someone who has used him would be reassuring? What is costing like generally for a TT in Sydney? Also I wondered if anyone has had liquid lipo? Found that while I was madly searching the net for info. Thanks in advance, Chezzi
