  1. Hi y'all! I'm a 23 year old female from a south-east Asian background. I had my first double eyelid surgery operation when I was 17 by Dr Andrew Kim in Melbourne, Australia. My initial operation and the subsequent revision surgeries that he preformed were totally botched and I've been left with asymmetry and a deformed fold on my left eye (please refer to the attached photo). After years of hating my appearance, regretting my decision to ever have the surgery, and completely losing all trust in surgeons, I have finally found the courage to look into possibly undergoing revision surgery. I was just wondering whether anyone in Australia could recommend an experienced plastic surgeon to me who specialises in double eyelid surgery (also known as asian blepharoplasty). I'm specifically looking for a plastic surgeon, not a cosmetic surgeon (like Dr. Andrew Kim). I'm based in Melbourne, but would be willing to travel interstate for a more experienced and respectable doctor. Please let me know if you or someone you know has any recommendations for me.
  2. Hi, does anyone here have experience with Andrew Kim from Sydney for double eyelid surgery? I'm also looking for doctors in Sydney that provide this surgery to do some research. Thanks
  3. I am not really satisfied with my eye shape. I want my eyes to look more korean (natural korean). What is the procedure and is any surgeon willing to do it?
  4. Hi everyone, I'm in my early twenties, Chinese, fit/muscular/healthy shape, and have always been extremely self-conscious of my face shape without makeup. Even with makeup I never can contour well enough to have a jawline and make my cheeks less chubby along with any hint of cheekbones... What procedure do you guys think I would be most suited for before I go meet some surgeons and visit botox clinics? Thank you in advance! <3
  5. Hi, I have seen Dr. Chow a few times and she is very nice and knowledgeable but I was hoping to hear some first hand experiences before I book myself in for actual surgery. I cannot find an reviews on her so anything would be much appreciated!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm considering getting rhinoplasty this year. I've always been super insecure about my nose ever since I was little so its something I'm sure I want to get done... the only problem is which surgeon to go to? I've gone through these threads and I've read great reviews about Andrew Greensmith & Graeme Southwick.. but I want to know for certain before I go for a consult with them. If any of their former patients could share your experience with me then I'd really appreciate it... and if anyone could suggest other surgeons that are renowned for rhinoplasty then that'd also be helpful. I don't mind travelling interstate or overseas if it means peace of mind also I wanted to know if it's realistic to go to Chicago to have rhinoplasty? I know that all surgeons have had both bad and good cases, and no surgeon can be called the best... but I did hear that Dean Toriumi is very popular for revision rhinoplasty and other surgeons think highly of him too. If he's good at revision then he must be an expert at primary right? Like I kinda picture him as the God of Rhinoplasty, but he charges upto $18000 for a primary surgery. That's almost double the fees of other surgeons... so I'm not sure if it'd be worth it? I want someone who has experience with rhinoplasty for all types of ethnicities, and I don't know if Greensmith and Southwick do? One last question... Has anyone had any complications after their rhinoplasty? Are you still able to blow your nose and make silly facial expressions? Thanks guys for the responses!
