  1. Hey everyone, I just booked in this week for a BA in mid December this year. This is something I have been wanting to do for 12 years since I was 13 years old, when I hit puberty and realised only one of my boobs was growing!! My left boob is a full C/ small D, while my right is only an A at best. I am so so excited and impatient to finally make this happen, looking forward to finally being able to feel feminine and wear any clothes I want instead of being self conscious and covering up all the time. Also super excited to finally be able to wear a bra that actually fits both of my boobs!! I'm looking to get about 400cc in the right and about 180cc in the left, to bring them to be the same size with a bit of an added boost I am just wondering if there is anyone else on this forum who has had a similar experience with using different implant sizes for asymmetry? I have searched far and wide for people in a similar position to me, would love to hear from anyone who can relate! Or any general tips leading up to surgery from anyone who went to a similar size would be much appreciated
  2. Hey guys I'm 172cm, around 57kg and currently wearing around a 34A cup. My left breast is slightly smaller than my right and the nipple is also a bit different (slightly inverted and smaller areola). I'm booked in for a BA on November 14, so very soon! My surgeon has recommended 250cc subglandular to achieve a C cup and balance me out, as I am very petite but with broader hips. It's been difficult finding photos of girls getting implants as small as mine. I realise they are small, but when I wear the sizers I feel like they look huge! Can anyone relate/does anyone have photos or stories of a similar journey? Regarding the asymmetry, I'm getting the same sized implants in both breasts as my surgeon says that often times the smaller one "catches up" over time, and if not, the difference in size will be much less noticeable with larger breasts. Very keen to chat to people with similar experiences! Feel free to PM me as well
  3. Dr Tavakoli performed recently my breast augmentation. He Corrected my asymmetry using two different size implants ... right 350cc and left 305 cc mentor anatomical implants and also used extensive fat grafting to my lower breast pole and cleavage . He used fat from my arms and axillas! I am Day 1 post op and I feel great .. I have had no pain from my lipo areas .. just the tightness from my breasts but that was expected !!! I am extactic with my results ... he is truly a master craftsman ... I am beyond happy 😍
  4. Hi So I am Day 4 post op breast augmentation with fat graft to correct my asymmetry . I can say sleeping has not been the best as sleeping upright has been very uncomfortable .. as I am used to sleeping on tummy ! Analgesia such as Valium and panadol has helped me with muscle spams ! And I use endone when I am going to sleep ... ! I do keep active during the day with walks .. of course at a slow pace ! I also found ice packs have helped with the lipo areas to axillas ! And wearing my compression garments! I can say each day has been getting better ! Any other tips .. would be greatly appreciated .. !
  5. Ok so this is a rather personal dilemma but hoping to hear from ppl who are wanting a BA but their partner isn't keen on it.. This is where I'm at right now, I have deflated breasts after breastfeeding 2 babies, plus I used to have implants in my 20s so I have extra skin, plus asymmetrical breast size (left B right A cup) , lost a fair bit of weight recently so have now been left with breasts which make me feel so miserable about myself. .... I would love to have surgery to improve mainly the Asymmetry which bothers me the most.. but biggest thing stopping me is that my husband is not keen on plastic surgery. Has anyone been in similar situation and their partner changed their mind? How did you approach them about it? I don't even know how to bring it up to him
  6. Hi everyone, i have some asymmetry in my browbone/ cheekbone area so I had some filler injected (Voluma) to build up the area a bit on one side. The result has been generally good (in terms of correcting the asymmetry) however I have some lumpiness near the corner of my eye where my eyebrow ends (most noticeable without make up). The dr said the cause is granulomas and to just wait until the filler dissolves naturally over time. so my question is, does anyone know of a plastic surgeon in Sydney who is familiar with this kind of technique and procedure / someone they would recommend in general, so that I can get a second opinion? thanks!
  7. Hi, so I had my first consult the other day! And I'm so excited! I decided on 470cc xhp.. I'm not a tiny girl, I'm 70kg, have recently lost 7kg, hoping to lose a bit more before my surgery in November, I'm 160cm tall. I do have asymmetry, and the doctor said that no matter what they won't be perfect, he said I could do like 420cc R and 470cc L, or something along those lines.... He said if I did get the same in each it wouldn't matter too much. He said the biggest I could go is 560cc xhp. I originally only wanted hp, but he thinks the xhp will help the asymmetry... He is going to do my bigger boob dual plane, to help point the nipple up, so they are even.... Now I'm wondering if I should go bigger then 470cc.... I am worried about looking too big, but then I know I am curvy and maybe could pull it off.... Any suggestions or anyone with similar stats? I'm about a 14 c/d cup now, just no upper pole. I'm also thinking of doing a slight difference in the cc's.... Thanks 😘
  8. Hi, I was just looking for ladies that have had severe Breast Asymmetry and have since had surgery to rectify. I knew I had uneven breasts, but it wasn't until my hubby took photos of them so that I could get some quotes for augmentation that I realised just how Asymmetrical they are. How could I not have noticed? It has upset me so much and I am assuming I will need the larger one lifted before implants etc. also interested to know what rebates people may have been able to claim due to Asymmetry. Thanks in advance
  9. 1 week tomorrow until my surgery on the 4th August. I'm so excited. Im just wondering how many August ladies are not straight forward BA ? But who have decided to have only the implants ? Im unsure on how many cc's I'll be having but am hoping to go from an A- C/D. I'm having anatomical's, dual plane. My surgeon is confident that it will correct the asymmetry, & very borderline, mildly tuberous titties that I currently have from Breast feeding 2 kids. I am also a little droopy on the left side, so I'm a little nervous about how they will turn out without having a lift aswell. But I trust my surgeon so Fingers crossed. Any other ladies in a similar boat ? Oh & is there An August Facebook group ?
  10. My breast asymmetry. I am getting different sized implants to even them up. But my bigger sized breast also has a bigger (noticeably) nipple. Will they stretch with the implant?? Has anyone had this problem, and what were your nipples like post surgery ? Did they even up as the smaller side had the bigger implant and stretched more? Or did they both stretch and still end up uneven ? Or did you have one nipple reduced to even them out ?
  11. I was researching BA's for a couple of years before we decided it was finally time to do it. After breastfeeding my third child I was left with virtually no breast tissue. When researching I found Dr Tony Connell's name and reviews and I couldn't wait to meet with him, despite having fantastic personal reviews from friends with other PS's in Perth Tony's name just stood out to me. I met with him in June this year and felt instantly comfortable with him. His manner and respect to me as a woman and a mother put me completely at ease. Tony explained to me that my breasts were like a mastectomy patient, and as such an anatomical implant would best suit what I wanted (a natural look), I'm not a big person so using his vectra scan technology it was super helpful to see what sizes might work best for me and my desired outcome. We also established how bad my asymmetry was and given it is over a 10% difference in the breasts sizes I was also eligible for a medicare item number. We also discussed correcting my left nipple as this one was inverted. At this consult we decided on the possibility of 255/295cc or 295/325cc implants and this was something to think (obsess) over from June until August when we met again and finally surgery day when the final decision would be made. Surgery day I was a bundle of nerves and had felt extremely anxious the week leading up to surgery, I was convinced something bad would happen to me in surgery. I was to fast from 7.30am with surgery planned for around 4.30pm. Meeting with the surgeon before surgery we agreed on trying to fit the larger implant size but he explained that he would do his best to fit them but with a breast width of 12cm and an implant size of 12.5 he would put the smaller ones in if he just couldn't make the larger ones fit. He went all Mr Squiggle on me and I was then taken through. Thankfully it all happened fairly quickly from there and it all felt very surreal. I was told they were giving me oxygen and the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. I was completely dazed, dizzy and nauseas in recovery not to mention my pulse kept racing at everything. My PS came and spoke to me and confirmed that he fit the larger implants in and gave me strict instructions to rest. Over the course of the first night I felt all the sensations as had been pre warned on this forum, I felt heavy on the chest and my implants starting making the various farting and popping noises, I felt little pain. I struggled with nausea the first night and was so glad I was in hospital and able to have their support to manage it. Due to my anxiety they did ecg's to check my pulse (it kept racing) and it was through discussion we established that my anxiety was now affecting my pulse. After several ecg's and consults with the surgeon I was given endone which helped calm me a little. Day 1 I returned home in the AM after seeing the surgeon and resting a lot. I was given scripts for tramadol, ondanestron, panadeine and the antibiotics. Due to how dazed I felt after surgery I decided not to get the tramadol as my surgeon said that the tramadol makes him quite dazed. On this first day home I stayed in bed resting as I still couldn't eat, I used panadeine and nurofen to manage my headaches (I suspect the GA was the culprit of the headaches). Breasts are numb all over but look fantastic. So nice to have breasts and breasts that are even! Day 2 Woke up with serious morning boob after I flaked out from 9-4 that night, felt very nauseas and headachy that day despite using ondanestron. More noises from the implants but not much pain. I also had no arm pain or issues with movements as other people have described. Breasts are still numb. Day 3 Woke up with serious morning boob despite not sleeping well thanks to back pain with the sleeping upright. I had an outing this morning and returned home hugely fatigued and with a pounding headache. As the breast pain wasn't too bad I switched to panadol and nurofen for pain relief. Incisions started feeling itchy and I can feel the incision point but otherwise breasts still numb. Day 4 MORNING BOOB! Woke up with more back pain, its plaguing me more than the boob pain. Felt much more normal this day and think it must have been the codeine making me sick. The sounds had stopped from the breasts and the fatigue was a bit better. Itchy incisions and still trying to get Mr Squiggle's drawings off me and breasts are still numb. Struggled this day with the numbness and feeling claustrophobic in my own body from it. It's so weird to touch your breasts and not feel that. Day 5 Morning BOOB!!!! More back pain and trouble sleeping is resulting in more fatigue but otherwise feeling great and having to stop myself from doing stuff. Breasts have been the same size since day 1 with even swelling and settling, still numb all over. Day 6 Morning boob was slightly better this morning. No pain relief for breasts today just pain relief for back pain and headache. Able to skip a day sleep today and even baked some scones (let it be known, cutting scone dough is actually hard, it seems you use your pecks a bit for that). Still numb all over the breasts, not painful but tender. Getting slight feelings in the breast that almost feel like a let down when breastfeeding, also tiny little shooting pains occasionally and little buzzes every now and then, weird I know!, I hope this is the feeling coming back. I am so so so glad I did this and can't wait to see how the rest of my recovery goes. I will be forever thankful to Dr Connell and his work.
  12. Hi ladies!! I've been reading the forum for about a month and thought I'd finally post and stop being a stalker lol. I've wanted breast implants for a few years now and only really got serious about it last year. I want it to mainly even out my asymmetry and a little extra fullness would be nice! The thing is I currently wear an 8DD BUT don’t be fooled- I just have a wide booby diameter so anything smaller and I’ll poke out the sides. But I think my smaller boob (right one) is probably the diameter of a C. In no way am I referring to fullness though. Anyway, I’m interested to hear of any girls who have the same issue as me and if so, did that mean that you had to have a large implant to accommodate the size of your chest? And, I've booked my first consultation with Dr Michael Miroshnik on the 14th May (so excited!!!) and I’d just like to hear from anyone who’s had experience with him. I've only read good things about him and I've seen his pictures but I’d love to see some "real-life" pictures that he is not personally advertising. Also, I've read he’s around the $12k mark? If all goes well I’m going to book in surgery for late June after my last uni exam! Would love to hear what anyone has to say! Natalie
  13. Hey ladies! First, hello I haven't really posted a whole lot yet, just been stalking the forums Just wondering if anyone has had a BL + BA covered at all by Medicare? I have Grade III breast ptosis, asymmetry and loose skin, and have been told I may be eligible? I had originally looked into O/S surgery, until someone mentioned this to me so I thought I would look into a bit more to see if it is infact covered at all Any info would be fantastic!
  14. I was hoping there would be someone on this forum that has had this same problem and can offer some advice. I had a great consultation with Dr Harwood and I trust his opinion completely, but thought that I would ask a few questions here before I send him an email tonight. Since breastfeeding my son a couple of years ago I was kind of aware of a slight symmetry problem with my breasts. It has never really bothered me and isn't noticeable in bras or bikinis and I thought it was nothing to really worry about. I went in to my consultation thinking that I was open to anything the doctor suggested and thought that would protect me from disappointment, however this has completely thrown me. He has suggested two different sized implants to correct this problem, and after taking photos of my breasts (for the first time ever just focusing on them)I can really see the problem. Apparently from predominantly feeding from my left side, it has become a different size and shape. I am so happy that Dr H is wanting to correct this, as I know I would feel better having the same size in each side, I'm also aware that having the implants will accentuate this problem. With the limited sizing available in the Brazilians he has suggested 410cc on one side and 360cc on the other. This seems like a huge difference to me! I made up some rice sizers with those volumes and they didn't seem too different, but I'm caught up on the numbers and it's freaking me out. I have some pics that I will post (really don't want to- I can't even look at them!) for better perspective and some pics I took of the sizers at my appointment, in the hope that I can find someone in the same situation. I have seen one other patient on here of Dr H's with different size implants but the variance is tiny compared to my recommendation. Thanks in advance for any replies and trying to stay positive
