  1. Can anyone recommend a Sydney surgeon for Blepharoplasty (upper & lower eyelids). Has anyone used Dr Angelo Tsirbas or Warwick Nettle?
  2. Hi y'all! I'm a 23 year old female from a south-east Asian background. I had my first double eyelid surgery operation when I was 17 by Dr Andrew Kim in Melbourne, Australia. My initial operation and the subsequent revision surgeries that he preformed were totally botched and I've been left with asymmetry and a deformed fold on my left eye (please refer to the attached photo). After years of hating my appearance, regretting my decision to ever have the surgery, and completely losing all trust in surgeons, I have finally found the courage to look into possibly undergoing revision surgery. I was just wondering whether anyone in Australia could recommend an experienced plastic surgeon to me who specialises in double eyelid surgery (also known as asian blepharoplasty). I'm specifically looking for a plastic surgeon, not a cosmetic surgeon (like Dr. Andrew Kim). I'm based in Melbourne, but would be willing to travel interstate for a more experienced and respectable doctor. Please let me know if you or someone you know has any recommendations for me.
  3. Can anybody here who has undergone a double eyelid surgery share their thoughts on the procedure and the results?
  4. Hello, I'm Thomas from Singapore. My eyelids were sagging because of fat pads. I found the plastic surgery clinic in Bangkok for fixing my problem since I have to visit Bangkok in that period. I met Dr.Darin Moungthai. She is certified plastic surgeon in Thailand. She suggested me to do fat pad removal and create double eyelid lines to make my eyes bigger. The schedule was not too busy so I just waited around 2 days and get my operation date. The result was very good and I also shared to all of you. Dr.Darin was very professional. She explained the procedure to me with detail. Do not hard sell to me give me some time to make a decision. I would like to ask that is it will be smaller or it's the same as my review. Actually, I need it a bit smaller.
  5. I would like to get some work on my upper eyelids (blepharoplasty). I have heavy upper eyelids so I would like to open up the look of my eyes and make them seem less tired/ droopy looking. I am not that old (30th birthday is looming this year ) but I have always hated how my eyes are genetically hooded. I am not sure how big a difference the surgery makes. I would love to hear from someone else who has gone through it. Is it worth the money and pain?
  6. I need upper eyelid ptosis surgery. Could someone recommend a a really good Oculoplastic Surgeon / Specialist? I can go anywhere in Australia, but prefer Brisbane if possible. I've had a really bad experience in the past and willing to pay more as long as the surgeon is really good. Thank you for your help.
  7. Hi, I'm starting my research for my upper & lower eye surgery, I have no idea on where to start & would love recommendations for amazing plastic surgeons near Brisbane or northside. I've read somewhere that an ophthalmic plastic surgeon would be better but a very experienced good plastic/reconstructive surgeon would do as well, if any one knows of any please let me know & if you have an idea of price it would be appreciated. thanks
  8. Hi everyone, This could be a long shot but I'm hoping someone could share their experience. I have had a none surgical method blepharoplasty as my surgeon suggested that it was the best for me given my age ect. I am wanting to go back and get the surgical incision method as I now feel thats what I need. I am wondering if anyone has similar experience to me and they had no problems getting the surgical method whilst the stitches are still in place? I hope it makes sense and hopefully it will make it sense to someone who's had a similar procedure. Thanks in advance.
  9. So there is just less than a week until surgery and I am trying to make sure I have packed everything... (more so packed the right things). I am having a breast lift (no implant), tummy tuck (hip to hip), a little liposuction and an upper eye lift. I will be admitted to hospital for 4 days - at least one in the IC unit (**good times). Any help would be great. What I have so far: 2x sleep shirts1x pair of shorts1x pair of lounge pants1x Robe1x Surgical bra Warm socks (Hospitals are always chilly)Book, art stuff and the surface for entertainment in hospitalNatural laxatives for all the time Dry shampoo, wipes, moisturisers, lip balms... etcWater bottle with strawDo I buy compression garments for my tummy tuck? Should I wait to see what the surgeon says? I feel like I am missing stuff any suggestions?
  10. Has anyone had a lower bleph with fat repositioning? Do you reccomended it? And any reccomendations for doctors experienced in eyelid surgery in Australia, preferably Melbourne area? thanks
  11. I am finally having my surgery in a week with dr andrew kim of advance. I am prepared mentally, but is there any other thing that I should know when it comes to post-operative care?
  12. I have been reading through the posts, and i also did some research for quite some time now since I have been considering getting a double eyelid surgery. I am one who likes to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Of course since this is surgery, I don't want to cut corner which is why I am taking my time in searching for a reliable surgeon who to do the job. I've come across several names, but one that I am interested in is this certain Dr. Andrew Kim of advance cosmetic. i learned through their website that he is certified in sydney and melbourne, which is a plus for my part. However, I would like to know if anyone here is familiar with him? I want to know more details, his style, his quality of work, or how much his rate is, etc. There is good info about him on their site, but i want raw details from those who have had an experience with him, or just any info. any info would be very much appreciated.
  13. hi girls.. i want to have upper blepharoplasty, in phuket.. but i don't know who's doctor is the best.. does anyone ever had upper blepharoplasty with dr sanguan or dr rushapol?? thank you..
  14. Can anyone recommend a Plastic Surgeon in Bangkok for a neck/face/bow lift, and blepharoplasty who is practicing state-of-the-art techniques? I would like to find someone who can do non-invasive surgery if possible. I've heard there are techniques for the lower blepharoplasty that can be done from the inside of the eyelid without any blades using electric current and without stiches. I would also like to find someone who can do a more non-invasive brow lift than making an ear-to-ear incision. Thanks for your advice! Annie

  16. Hi there Im new to this forum and. I'm looking to get some minor lipo and eyelid surgery. Who would be my best choice in Thailand? I am looking at going in April 2014. Would I better off booking direct with doctor or through an agency? I appreciate your responses ..
  17. Hey everyone im not sure if anyone can shed light on this but ive been researching surgeons like teerasit and nond and witoon they all seem to be great in one specific area but im wanting a full makeover including tummytuck and lipo and upper bleph, nond is great with all things face but ive not been happy with hes body procedure pics can anyone point me in the right direction? Perhaps i will need to have seperate surgeries but that already makes things complicated but its an option. Also for anyone wanting feedback i did have surgery with dr somsak kunachaker 10 years ago excellent lipo results but not convenient as he only operates from kasemrad and nurses dont speak english and no after care but my lipo was better then any photo i have seen from thai surgeons etc and it was a long time ago and if something had gone wrong i have no idea how he would have assisted me. I was lucky ten years ago i guess. Cheers
