  1. I have my final consult with Mark Ashton tomorrow, I spoke on the phone to his receptionist today and she told me that I will not be using a post op bra or ANY bra for the first 6 weeks of my recovery- opposite to everything I've heard, I then asked about massaging and she told me that he does not encourage any massaging... he's so highly reputed and I trust him with the surgery but this sounds odd?! anybody else have any similar experiences? stats: 22, 180cm, 57kgs, 240cc-270cc? anatomical mentors under the muscle Surgery date: 30th October PS: Mark Ashton
  2. Hi ladies See pic- Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with these popular silicone stick on bras that also give added cleavage? Thinking it could be either great or a massive fail for augmented boobs! I have a event to go to and was thinking this would double as nippple covers too. Thanks!
  3. There are heaps of advertisements on my social media feeds of the lace up bra. It laces up at the front like a corset and helps to give you more cleAvage. It would be very useful for us girls with implants to get that nice long cleavage... I would like to go into a shop and purchase one rather than online. Does anyone know where they are sold ? Or what they are actually called ? Thanks , - Alex
  4. Hey ladies, looking for some suggestions for post op bras for right after I get the new additions. I have 2 zip front bras but don't know if they'll be the right compression bras for right after op. Thamks x
  5. I'm having surgery with dr Ali soon and I was just wondering how long he had you girls with overs wearing the post op bra for? I saw that a girl was told she could wear normal bras after 2 weeks. also, any feed back or photos of your work would be awesome too! It's really hard to find many photos of his work thanks girls
  6. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has heard of implanted bras? do you know anyone with them? I don't know how to add a photo sorry
  7. I'm 8 months post and haven't been wearing a bra to bed since about 2 months after. Just wondering how many people, if any wear a bra to bed still?
  8. Ok girls what are the best places online or store to get your new boobalicious BRAS?
  9. Hi ladies I am four wks in and have built the courage to get sized and purchased the complete comfort bra which allows you the removal of the wires. This was on my radar ever since I got to chatting with you ladies and I am so excited to wear it one day!!! At what point were you wearing this bra post op? Or did you wait til they said you are allowed to wear anything ? I think they said not until 6 weeks can I wear a normal bra (wired) but considering I am allowed to wear bikinis during my time away I don't see why I can't wear the comfort bra. I am 4 weeks in and I was told I'm allowed to wear crops etc but no underwires. Lol does this count as crop since it doesn't have a wire and it is not a push up bra? I'm just so sick of not being able to wear clothes without my black post op protruding Any thoughts anyone?

  11. I am heading to PIAC in Feb for my BA with Dr Narupon. I think through my research the general concensus is that PIAC will give you a post-op bra, but I hear a lot of ladies saying that taking a spare one is a good idea which makes sense. So my questions are ... 1) Does PIAC for sure give you a post-op bra? ... and 2) where did you buy your spare post op bra and what brand did you get? Ideally I'd like one with support, but one which can be easily concealed under a cami with medium sized straps. Any help is appreciated
  12. Hi girls! I'm soon to be starting back on light cardio and was wondering what you recommend as the best bra to use? Pre BA I used Lorna Jane maximum support bras for my high intensity workouts - would something similar suit post BA? Thanks! xx
  13. Hey ladies! I have found a bonds sports bra at target for 20 bucks that is amazing and pretty hot too Its an underwire bra but I have removed the wire and it is absolutely to die for. Its a "bonds sports top"it has a moulded cup and for reference the one i gotis orange and black and covered in writing. 10/10 reccomend this bra girls!
  14. Hey ladies, I used to purchase VS bras for my current size 10B (34B) (such a shame i have to chuck em out/give em away). Has anyone purchased from them that is a 10E/F? Are they the same size as Aussie measurements? i know im a 34 but in terms of cup sizes duno if they would be slightly larger than the average aussie cup sizes or how to work it out. So question is anyone girls that are 10 E or F what size do you wear / purchase from VS? and what type of bra as they have different types of bras like bombshell or dream angel etc.... To my horror i realized they go up to 34DD only not sure if that would fit me as it says 12 DD in the chart Here is the chart: https://www.victoriassecret.com/CustomerService/ShoppingOurSite/SizeChart/Bra
  15. I have just found the most comfy bra! The bonds wire free tshirt bra. It has a moulded cup and is supportive. They are $27 at Big-W and IMO totally worth it.
  16. Hey ladies, So one thing that has been playing on my mind ever since my consult with surgeons was how will I ever find a bra that will fit me ever again. Like all women i like pretty bras and i want to feel sexy and feminine, i dont want to be restricted with an old fashioned ugly bra because of my size. Unfortunately, I have noticed that sizes 6, 8 and 10 don't go past DD if you are lucky, so i did a bit of asking around, shopping and online research and found that the following places actually cater for girls like me (or at least soon to be). Thought i'd share some links and places to help other girls that are freaking out about post op shopping as i found department stores like DJ, Myer and even BNT don't really cater for girls that have bigger boobs but smaller bodies. So here are some places you might want to check out, knowing that there are places that cater for smaller structured girls with DD-H has really put my mind at ease regarding my bigger implants: Debras http://www.debras.com.au/index.asp Located in Penrith and Wentworthville Mary Holland http://www.maryholland.com.au Located in Parra, Sydney CBD, Castle Hill More than a handful: http://www.morethanahandful.com.au/ located in Sydney CBD Storm in a cup http://www.storminadcup.com.au/ Located in Bondi Junction Bonds http://www.bonds.com.au/womens/bras.html Also noticed Bonds caters for size 10 to G cups (sometimes you might spot the odd bra at target or Big W) but they are definitely available to purchase on their website. If anyone knows of any other places i'd love to hear from you
  17. Hi everyone! I was curious as to how everyone knows their bra fitting measurements after getting their BA. Growing up, I never really had any boobs so I just wore 10As, but since I've gotten my boobs done.. I was wondering where I should go to get my boobs properly fitted for bras. Because after 1 week post op, I am able to change into a bra that has no underwires and I really want to make sure that I'm wearing the right cup. Please give me recommendations!! Greatly appreciated <3
  18. Hi I havent had a consult yet so cant ask dr but how do you ladies know what size post op bra to get? Does the dr tell you roughly? sorry if this sounds like a stuipd q.
  19. I had both a BA & BL and didn't wear a post op bra for the first week. I now have one but am only supposed to wear it for 4hrs max, then off for a few hours & off overnight. But it's so much more comfy on. Does anyone know why bras aren't recommended when healing from a breast lift? She said something about the stitches healing.
  20. Hi Ladies, Where is the best place to buy support bras from for after my breast augmentation?? Thank you, FloralLove xo
  21. Hi everyone So I'm 10 days post-op from getting my BA done at TCI. At my one week appointment they said I need to start wearing a sports bra or my post op bra 24/7 for the next 6 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be alright to wear an Ahhh bra or is it not supportive enough? Thanks
  22. Hi everyone, I may be preaching to the converted, but just in case anyone's unaware there is a wonderful bra and lingerie website I must share. It's called Zodee. http://www.zodee.com.au/ Free shipping and returns on all orders over $40. Quite a few post op bras to choose from if you search post surgery and also if you search wirefree it will show you all the wireless bras you can wear a few weeks later when you're allowed to wear normal bras again. Just ordered some Lovable and Berlei.
  23. Hi I am getting a breast augmentation on the 23rd of this month. So damn excited and will be sure to post before and afters! Could anyone tell me, how long after your BA can you go braless say to bed and just around the house? Do they look really freakish in the first few weeks etc? Also how long til you were able to go out and wear a normal top? I have been told I will be wearing a special bra for six weeks. Is it imperetive I wear this even at home 24/7? Thanks girls!
  24. Hi ladies, can anyone relate to the situation that I am in. Wednesday (9 Days Post Op) I wore a post OP bra out & came home in agony. I would have spent 6-8 hours in this bra. No wires; 10D. I was still wearing my PO OP surgery bra given to me at the clinic, which was a tiny bit to big but still had great support. Prior to this I had no pain and was healing quite well. Dr. H had written 'Perfect' on my file when I came in for my 1 week check. Since waking Thursday morning, I have noticed that my boobs have hardened, worrying me I have early sings of CC. I have 2 bruises in on the top of my nipples on both breast in the same position; I am guessing from my bra I wore on Wednesday night? My breast are even more sensitive and I have the dreaded morning boob ache which I hadn't had for 2 days prior wearing the 10D bra. Also my post OP bra from the clinic is now tight on me!!! I don't know if I am over reacting as there are many changes that you experience after having a BA, but I was feeling no pain and my boobs where soft NOW they are the extreme opposite. I am going to try see my doc this week and get his advice, but wanted to know if any girls out there have had anything similar happen to them????
  25. Hi So my surgery is THIS MONDAY!!!!! Yewwwwww! So excited, but I need some help with the bras. The nurse recommend having a 'sports bra' one size up from what I would normally wear (I am currently a 12B) I was looking at a sports bra that opens from the back and your normal sports bra, BUT i can't make my mind up. Will my arms be to saw to lift over my head to put a normal sport bra on by myself? I like the idea of having the extra support using a normal sport bra over a sports bra that clips at the back like a normal bra, but I am guessing that the swelling will set in and I will have to get out then into a new bra a few hours after surgery and I want to be comfortable and also be able to do this myself unassisted. I do have my bestie Sam to help me, but I think that could be pushing our friendship a little if she had to see my new girls all swollen and raw! Any brands you can suggest would be great!!
