  1. Hi, First time poster here! I am 26 years old, 174cm with Tuberous Breasts - less than an A cup currently. I have been extremely self conscious about the size and shape of my breasts for years. I have only just been officially diagnosed with Tuberous Breasts and was initially really upset but now I'm feeling relived to finally have a diagnosis. I had a consultation with Dr Luke Stradwick on the Gold Coast and he has suggested 295-370cc tear drop implants placed under the muscle. My only issue is that I have not had kids yet and would like to in the next few years. My chances of being able to breastfeed anyway aren't great but I won't know until it happens. Is there anyone who has been in the same position? Does breastfeeding after an augmention/reconstruction ruin the look of your new boobs?? Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hi Ladies! I'm on the hunt for a surgeon in Brisbane or the Gold Coast who has good results with dual plane placement. After years of breastfeeding I have a mild degree of sagging. Luckily my nipple position is fairly good still so I gather it's referred to as glandular sagging or psuedoptosis. I'm confident I can get away without needing a lift...for now anyway! Can anyone reccommend a good surgeon who has had good results with this type of placement?
  3. Hi ladies! I'm hoping for some general advice and/or feedback! Im an 8G and have been for about 15 years now (I'm 32) and this has been a long journey or aching back/shoulders and extremely painful breast as they are just so huge! And very lumpy too. So my GP gas referred me to Richard Martin for a reduction. Does anyone have any idea how much I'll be looking at paying?I have top cover private health but I know that doesn't cover much. Also, anyone had this surgery done and can tell me if they were/weren't able to breastfeed after? Thanks ladies, I appreciate ANY help or advice! TJ
  4. Hi ladies, How long after breastfeeding can you get implants. I know different surgeons have different time frames. Some say 3+ Some say 6-12 Some say 12+
  5. Hello, I am booked in to have a BA at the Cosmetic Institute in December with Dr Lee. I am 22 and am already a 10c but, I am still quite happy with my breasts. It's not really an issue for size but I am looking for the roundness and higher profile. I would like to be able to wear a bra without padding and for them to look great. I am going through a 'nervous' stage as I wait to have my BA. All of life I have just wanted to have kids. I am really worried about breastfeeding with my implants. I would not be planning to have kids for at least another two years. Has anyone breastfed after having a BA or know anyone that has?? What has been the outcome?? Thanks and please reply!!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm still learning my way around the forum but so far I'm loving reading everyone's experiences etc. it's been incredibly helpful for my own journey So this is my story: I had my second child last January, breast fed for 11 months. I started as a 10dd before children, went up to a 12G (and then some but was sick of continuously buying larger bras!) then since stopping breast feeding I've gone down to a sad looking 10B... I had 2 consultations with plastic surgeons who both recommended a lift plus implants but I decided to see Dr. Szalay for another opinion. I was/am completely aware that he's a cosmetic surgeon rather than plastic but after reading experiences and looking at his work I feel comfortable that he knows what he's doing. So I've booked my surgery for the 19th of march!!! Very excited, but I'm having trouble deciding what size implants to go. He's recommended because I have sagging that I go 530cc or 590cc Brazilian teardrop to fill. He thinks the 590cc implants will give the best result. I'd love some advice or personal experiences on this size as it seems to be quite uncommon? At this point I'm starting to worry about everything that could go wrong! Thanks in advance for any help! x
  7. Hi Gals! im looking at booking a consultation with dr layt for October and would like to hear any comments people may have about their experience with him. I am getting a BA after breastfeeding also and would like to know if anyone has breastfed again with implants? Fleur x
  8. Hey guys, I'm meant to be getting implants in 6 weeks, and now we have decided to have another child in one year. Will breastfeeding be detrimental to the look of my boobs after weaning?
  9. Hi ladies, This is my first thread started on the forum- please be kind! Haha. Im 25, no kids, and looking at getting implants. I'm a bit concerned though as my hubby and I are thinking of trying for children at some stage within the next 3-5years, and I'm worried that if I get implants now, they will be ruined in a couple of years when we have kids. I know that I'll need to look at getting the implants re- done anyway - usually around then 10+ year mark from what I've read (?), but I wasn't prepared to spend so much money only to have to get them done again so soon! Definitely looking for some advice, if you've heard of the impacts of breast feeding and pregnancy on your implants? Im hoping to get unders, if that makes any difference (probably not!). Thanks for your help!!

  11. Just wanting to know if you can breastfeed after a lift ? Finding a lot of mixed information online.
  12. I was hoping there would be someone on this forum that has had this same problem and can offer some advice. I had a great consultation with Dr Harwood and I trust his opinion completely, but thought that I would ask a few questions here before I send him an email tonight. Since breastfeeding my son a couple of years ago I was kind of aware of a slight symmetry problem with my breasts. It has never really bothered me and isn't noticeable in bras or bikinis and I thought it was nothing to really worry about. I went in to my consultation thinking that I was open to anything the doctor suggested and thought that would protect me from disappointment, however this has completely thrown me. He has suggested two different sized implants to correct this problem, and after taking photos of my breasts (for the first time ever just focusing on them)I can really see the problem. Apparently from predominantly feeding from my left side, it has become a different size and shape. I am so happy that Dr H is wanting to correct this, as I know I would feel better having the same size in each side, I'm also aware that having the implants will accentuate this problem. With the limited sizing available in the Brazilians he has suggested 410cc on one side and 360cc on the other. This seems like a huge difference to me! I made up some rice sizers with those volumes and they didn't seem too different, but I'm caught up on the numbers and it's freaking me out. I have some pics that I will post (really don't want to- I can't even look at them!) for better perspective and some pics I took of the sizers at my appointment, in the hope that I can find someone in the same situation. I have seen one other patient on here of Dr H's with different size implants but the variance is tiny compared to my recommendation. Thanks in advance for any replies and trying to stay positive
