  1. Hi ladies, Hope everyone is well i just had a quick question I'm hoping you ladies can help me with. My surgeon has yet to ask for my medical history and I'm planning on booking my surgery for mid December (hopefully) I was wondering if my doctor will want to know my full medical history or just the relevant parts or not at all. I'm hoping not at all as there is something in there that may impact whether or not he would do the surgery or not and I would really prefer he didn't know(it's nothing that would effect the surgery or any issues with anesthesia etc) I also would prefer if my GP didn't know until after the fact as I think she wouldn't be too happy with it. if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Xx
  2. I have been surfing the internet for a long time for my nose surgery. I am a guy who really been meaning to do his nose and lower face in Thailand. I really need a doctor I can trust and believe he sees what I see. And work on my nose to come out for the best perfect results as possible. I would like to know a doctors vision that meets mine regarding. Doctor nond is very slow and I read lots of bad reviews about him. Doctor kunachak has a very good reputation and gave me that vibe during email consultations. He pays attention to details and this is what I really want. But he is very pricy. My nose needs a tip reconstruction. Basically reduce bridge and tip. As in "frontal view and profile" Therefore, I need to raise tip, reduce nostrils align nostril sides and manipulate cartilage. I guess my only problem is the little extra cartilage that appears as a bit bulbous and round. When I smile my nose that forces shape of nose to appear down when smiling. I have done a rhino but only moved the hump. Now it is time to lower the bridge and do tip shortening, lowering, and tip deprojection as part of the tippalsty procedure. Now kunachak said that if I lower bridge, my nose will look feminine. I honestly would rather have afeminine nose but not live with the bose I have everyday and feel the guilt and negativity. I know many men with feminie noses, but on the other hand good lookin' What procedure is best to achieve the cute harmonic yet not have "that operates look" what should I do? Who do you recommend? Please. and any doctors GOOD PRO doctors that reconstruct good jaw implants. Mandibles. In thailand that turns over the lower face. Models face
  3. Hi guys, Just curious about who you would recommend in the way of Sydney-based surgeons. I'm 23, lost a whole lot of weight between high school and now. Very fit, but suffer from excess skin/subcutaneous fat along with gynocomastia. I would appreciate a doctor who is genuinely caring and will listen/respond to my needs. I may need a large amount of work done, so I want someone I can trust who will be there every step of the way. So far Dr Jeremy Hunt and Dr Jake Lim come to mind. Before I start booking consults, I'd like to hear your suggestions Price is no issue.
  4. Hey Ladies, Has anyone heard of Dr Pouria Moradi? He is a plastic surgeon and works in several hospitals in Sydney. I am unable to find many reviews on BA with him and there has only been 3 posts here about him. Please help!! Making my final decision. Thinking of going for a consult with Dr Jake Lim as well. Thanks :-)
  5. Hi Guys, I am new and super excited that i have joined the forums. My name is Anna, am 25 years old ready to have my first BA surgery. I have just had my consult with Dr Mark Kohout at Broadway and will also be seeing Dr Moradi at Silkwood in Bondi Junction next week, Dr Peter Val in March at Cosmetic Institute in Parramatta and i think i may see Dr Lim in Drummoyne as well sometime soon depending on when i can get an appointment. At this stage i have not decided who i would like to go with as i have two or 3 other consults but my experience with Dr Kohout so far has been comforting. He seemed really nice, did not rush me, answered all my questions, went through the pictures i took in, explained what happened to the types i did not like to ensure it does not happen to me. So, so far so good. Reviews on him are pretty limited and so far have only found 1 bad one with more good ones. I just wanted to know has anyone has their BA done with any of the above doctors mentioned? I'm a very very indecisive person and any help would be appreciate. I am 65kg, 163cm tall and Dr Kohout recommended 445cc under muscle high profile anatomicals. I wanted round 450cc however i don't want them to look too "fake" so he recommended anatomicals as he thought it would achieve the desired looked that i want. Size wanted is a large D to small DD. Thanks guys, look forward to your responses :-) Super super excited!!! Anna
  6. Im having my BA surgery in 26 days with Dr. David Topchian just curious if anyone on here has had this doctor before??? or knows of him??? or even just had a consultation with him?
  7. HI Everyone, I am considering lipo but am unsure if it will be more cost effective to have vaser here in OZ or head over to Bangkok. Can anyone highly recommend Dr. in Thailand & Australia? I currently live in Brisbane but will travel interstate to get the best results. I am looking for lipo on: - inner and outter things - insides of knees - love handles Has anyone had similar lipo and what price did you pay? I am still looking at all the risks and reading other peoples progress stories. So far there are a few Dr.'s names being thrown around, but the cost is what I haven't got a clue on. Can anyone shed the costs involved with this procedure?
  8. The most fulfilling time of my life was when I breastfed all three of my children for the first year of their precious little lives. Now eight, six and two my precious little angels give me so much joy, though the three years of breastfeeding had left my breasts flat and saggy. Being a confident individual it was difficult to come to terms with the state of my breasts. I was simply embarrassed by them, I also found it difficult to dress nicely or find clothes that fit properly. I was determined to do something about it. Living near Campbelltown I found the nearest Plastic Surgeon (Dr George Lyons) and booked to see him. I was disappointed with the level of information I was provided and the manner in which I was treated (like a number) and so did not proceed with the operation. I decided to find another Surgeon, this time I reverted to the internet and searched for “the best breast surgeon in Sydney”. Dr Tavakoli’s name came up. After reading his web site I was happy with the information that I found. The appointment was made. I was so excited I made my husband sit with me and write a laundry list of the questions that I should ask at my appointment. The day of the appointment I wasn’t feeling well, my emotions were mixed with both excitement and fear. I rattled off all my questions to Dr Tavakoli’s surprise, I’m sure he didn’t get that many questions in a year let alone in one appointment. At the end of the appointment Dr Tavakoli said that I was not ready and that I should go away and really think about it and possibly come back in a couple of weeks. I was so angry with myself and the impression that I had left. When I got home I spoke with my husband who was very supportive, so I took the couple of weeks to think about it and did as much research as I could. A few weeks later I made my second appointment, this time I was ready and determined to go ahead. Dr Tavakoli could clearly see that this was what I wanted and that I was ready. We discussed sizing and the possibility of doing a “lollipop” operation, which scared me no end. Fortunately I didn’t need to go to that extreme. He took me through the whole process and finished by saying “when you are ready we can book the procedure” my response was instant and excitedly I told him “I’m ready for your first available time slot”. I was booked in immediately for the 2nd April 2012. The day of the operation I was Dr Tavakoli’s first patient, which I was quite excited about. The nurses were helpful and nice and I was quickly dressed in the gown and waiting for the Doctor to arrive. When he arrived he took some “before” photo’s and then proceeded to draw on my chest and explain what he was going to do. He could see that I was a little scared (not from the procedure but from the anesthetic, which I have a lot of problems with after any procedure) so he made a few jokes to lighten the mood and relax me. The procedure was quick and when I came too I felt OK. The nurses once again were nice and Dr Tavakoli came around to let me know that everything went well and he was very happy with the way the procedure went. Not long after that the nausea set in and I couldn’t keep anything down. The reaction to the anesthetic had kicked in. The nurses explained to mostly my husband the numerous medications that I had to take and when as well as how and when to empty the drains and record the level of fluid. When I got home I continued to throw up for the next 9 hours. Each time I threw up I felt a significant amount of pressure on my chest. Over the next couple of days the pain subsided and I was just uncomfortable, with the drains and still being swollen. After the drains were removed I felt a lot better, however not long after I started to get a pain in my right breast which appeared to be getting stronger by the day. I started to panic, thinking that I had capsular contracture and was preparing myself for another operation. My husband tried to calm me down but the pain persisted so I booked to see Dr Tavakoli who sent me for an ultrasound. He was quick to come back and tell me everything was OK and that I only had a little water build up around my right breast, nothing that a few physio sessions won’t correct. A few sessions with the physio and even the swelling came down quickly and the scarring was almost negligible. A few more checkups and everything was going perfectly, I couldn’t have been happier. I was now off on my European holiday, happy with the way I looked and for the first time in a long time feeling confident and comfortable in my new bikinis. Now I feel good, I look great and it’s all thanks to Dr Tavakoli.
  9. Girls!!! Let the voting begin! I would love to know about your doctor, agency if any, overall experience and what you had done!! Im an uneven 10dd and need a lift with 325cc implants (breasts 80c difference) and i would prefer a lollipop scar.
  10. hey everyone, was just curious about something (regarding people that have or are planning on going to thailand for surgery)- did everyone tell their GP's on their plans? was their GP supportive, encouraging, concerned, did they try and turn you off the idea etc etc? I have a really good Dr and I trust his judgement (you know some dr's you think how the eff did you even get into this profession they are that dumb, my dr is the complete opposite and I have 100% faith in him) and I want to ask him his opinion on it, I know at the end of the day this is my body and my decision and im pretty certain I have decided a big yes for going ahead with it, I just think if my GP was supportive of the decision it would be a huge reassurance to me anyways would love to hear from you all <3
