  1. I recently had reconstructive breast surgery done by Dr Piyapas in Phuket. Thought i would capture my experience for anyone who is curious. I had previously had silcon implants done 23 yrs ago and notice my breast started to look different,as my sister had used Dr Piyapas i thought i would send ui some pictures and see what he recommended. Dr Piyapas is very thorough and provided a consultation over email with me sending photos. I had consulted drsmin Brisbane but wasnt confident in their ability. I am now into my 5th week of recovery from having my previous implants taken out, damaged breast tissue removed and new implants put in. The recovery is slow and uncomfortable but not painful all the time. I used pain killers for the first week but cut down to every 2nd or 3rd night after that. I also had Vaser Lippo surgery on my legs at the same time. The legs were ok for the first few weeks but got sore as time went on, this is due to the bruising coming out and the tissue needing to reattach to the wall of the skin. You just wear the garmet fornthe full 6 weeks and i will continue to wear it at night for another few weeks yet. It is uncomfortable and at times i thought i would rip it off n burn it but the results will be worth it. Dr Piyapas is a very gentle and caring Doctor, he held my hand as i went under anesthetic and was very caring when he came to see me in the days after the surgery. The hospital inp huket is fantastic and the nurses are very good, the language barrier didnt really create any problems they just seem to get on with the job of looking after you. The room is vry big and u can have a friend stay with u which is nice, mine had her teeth whitened while she waited for me I would recommend taking a couple of pair of underwear and a light robe with u for your stay. I took my ipad which was good as i was in hospital for 5 days due to being a bleeder so this helped pass the time, TV is not very good over there, so load up on movies before u go. WiFi is very good inthe hospital. Make sure u try to get up and move about by day 2 as this will help recovery, i spent my time walking the hallways just to get my muscles moving. I am not back to full exercise yet But have been walking 3 kms since week 2. I went back to work week 3 which was too early considering the amount of breast tissue i had rremoved. When your body tells u to rest make sure u do, it will assist in a quick recovery. I had 400cc implants which were slightly larger than the previous 350cc, that said if u are having breast tissue removed u need that bit extra to fill in where your breast used to be. If u are unsure of the size u want, go a little bigger than u think. Both my sister and i agree on this as she wanted DD to E and ended up with DD's she now wishes she went that bit extra to an E. I was previously 12DD and have ended up with the same, so am happy with the result. Dr Piyapas will err on the side of caution so ask if u want them bigger. Becareful when paying that the hosipital will hit u with a fee for transferring the money via credit card, mine was $19k and the fee on top was $486- wasnt expecting that. Make sure u buy a very firm fitting sports bra for after the surgery-no underwire. U need a couple of bras as u are in them 24/7. If you are having vaser lippo buy the garmets i australia the one they use in the hospital is not good quality-wish i had known that beforehand. Take some snack food as sometimes when taking medications u need a little something in your stomache before u take them. i am very hapoy with the overall result and care i recieved at the hospital and from Dr Piyapas, would def recommend him to anyone. Hope this helps ☺
  2. Hi all First post for me - long time reader! I am turning 40 next year and have decided to celebrate with a BA in Thailand @ May 2016. After reading all the info and stories I am a little overwhelmed by it all - surgery included. My two clear options are: * Bangkok at Vejthani International Hospital with Dr Theera; or * Phuket - either at PIAC with Dr Veerawat (Dr Boonchai is not taking bookings in May) or at BHP with Dr Piyapas There is a lot of positive feedback about the Phuket surgeons, however does anyone have experience with Dr Theera at all? I couldn't find too much. My other big decision is whether to book it myself through the hospitals and look for great flight/accomm deals or hand it all over to an agent. I will be travelling over with my partner and two kids so would love to hear from anyone who has done this with the family in tow Any info / guidance would be amazing! Thanks all!!
  3. Hey ladies, I had my BA on Wednesday with Dr Piyapas at Bangkok Hospital Phuket and got high profile 325 cc in my right and 350 in my left. In the consultation I told him I wanted 400 cc but he told me straight away that I didn't have enough skin for that size, so I was taken back when he gave me a 300cc implant to try on. He said that going that big could cause capsular contracture. I was a 12B cup and not sure what I am now, maybe a D? but theyre not as big as I had imagined they would be for so long. I get my bandages taken off tomorrow and will be able to finally see them but I'm currently disappointed with my result as they are only 3 days old I hope they look bigger as they drop and fluff. What I'm wondering is if they get much bigger once they drop a bit? I'm hoping they will protrude to the side more to align with my hips to give me more of an hourglass shape.

    My BA

So here is my story - all I wanted before I went was to read in depth stories and advise me so this may be quite long. Im currently two days post op - I flew into phuket on 7th of oct at 6pm from perth with my partner, headed straight to our hotel (Banthai Beach Resort - amazing) oh and to mention I booked through Restored Beauty Getaways as I had won a $450 booking voucher through them. We were so hungry so headed straight out for a meal and then for a full thai massage as I knew this would be my only one! It was amazing! By the time we walked around got back to hotel at 10pm so fairly early night ready to get up in the morning for my transfer to the hospital at 7am. The next morning came around quickly and surprisingly I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be I had been non stop researching for the past 2 months. Transfer was quick to the hospital from Patong as we picked up another lady on the way who I got chatting to and also put me at ease as she had already had surgery with Dr Piyapas. Registration went quick and the hospital is amazingly clean and organised. i then went up to the aesthetic centre where I first had my blood tests & BP. I then got taken for a heart test and chest X-ray. I also met another lady while doing this who had previously seen Dr Piyapas and also couldn't rave enough about him. We then filled out forms back at the aesthetic centre and waited for my turn to see Dr P. Must of been a 10 min wait then I went through I took my partner through with me as I wanted him to meet and have an opinion. it is very quick the consult with Dr P but very thorough I ended up deciding 275CC high profile mentor as he suggested or 300cc as I thought I should maybe have a bigger size. He was able to answer all my questions I had and put me at ease that I would be ok - I felt like I really knew him at this stage. He also has great English. i was then taken to make payment which was also super efficient I then got taken to my room I got upgraded to a presidential suite as I think my partner was with me. It was huge a hospital bed one side - and spare bed aswell as a kitchen and bathroom! I was told my surgery would be at 12pm and it was now around 9:45am - so we watched some tv and it's great because they have wifi so made the time go a little quicker, by this stage my nerves had kicked in! 12pm came around and they came to tell me surgery would be another hour! Ugh more waiting but I understood. Meanwhile they had taken my BP every hour and put my drip in which I didn't feel a thing and I hate needles. the nurses are lovely and so helpful except a bit of communication barrier but you get through. 1;15 came around and the wheelchair came for me to get on - at this stage I was very nervous and wondering what I was doing choosing elective surgery and pain! by 1:30pm I was in the operating theatre and they were setting everything up 5 mins later dr P came in asks how I am and I said to him please only 275cc after thought I didn't want to be 300cc only due to the fact that I am quite small and wanted a natural look. He held my hand then they put an "oxygen" mask on and I was out. Next thing I am waking up in the recovery room with a very very very tight chest and confused and dazing in and out. After eventually 45 mins (there was a clock next to me) it was 5pm and they took me back to my room. i was so excited to see my partner and pretty out of it still! At 7pm I properly woke up and tried to eat a banana and that didn't end well I ended up throwing up all over myself and my partner as he tried to get there in time. I think I was allergic to the Morphine they then swapped drug and I was ok. The Nurses changed my clothing and begging and bandages so this was the first reveal - I was inlove!! My boobs were very swollen and very sore once the bandage was removed but very happy just by looking down at them. i slept quite well that night with the nurses probably coming in about every 2 hours checking my BP and meds when needed. the next day Dr P came in about 7:30am saying everything went well in surgery and told me my size 275cc high profile mentor implants and gave me my card this was the worst part as he then took my drains out. It doesn't hurt as such but very uncomfortable I closed my eyes and it was all over within 5 seconds each size he is also very comforting! About 11am I was discharged after the nurses ran over my meds and told me my follow up appointment time. Which is Tuesday at 7:30. i haven't taken my bandages off again until then so that will be the time that I get to have a real look at them and start wearing my post op bra but everything so far I am so happy with! The the last two days have been so bearable today has been the best and I have been up and walking around and also on the moped to watch my partner train Muay thai! if I can answer anyone's questions im more than happy to as I wanted all the advice I could get before my surgery xx
  5. Hey ladies! I have been corresponding with Bangkok Hospital of Phuket and they are in the process of getting back to me to say if a surgeon is available on the date I have requested to have my surgery. I have heard good things to far about Dr Witoon and Dr Piyapas, but don't know too much about the rest of the surgeons that could be potentially selected for me...are they all just as good as each other? I was hoping everyone could share their experiences with me to kind of guide me in the right direction. I'd hate to choose the wrong surgeon! Thanks x
  6. Hi ladies, So im having Breast augmentation surgery on the 17th of november 2015, im sooooo excited, iv been waiting for this for about 5 years! Finnaly saved the money done my research and im going for it!! My surgeon is Dr Piyapas, im finding it hard to find before and after images of his work, i was wondering if there's any ladies out there who would share their before and after pictures with me? 7. Hi everyone, thought I would post a detailed entry on my experience so far with my BA and Dr Piyapas. Day 1 and 2: Got picked up at my hotel at 6:50 am for my 8am consult by one of the hospital’s drivers. I arrived at the hospital and was met by some polite ladies that organised all our registration, and got our details and copies of our passports. We were led up to the 5th floor where I had to fill out some paper work and then went to get my blood tests, x-rays, and heart readings done. Did a bit more waiting, then was called to see Dr Piyapas. Had very good first impression of Dr Piyapas; he was very warm and reassuring. Made me feel very comfortable taking my shirt off in front of a stranger haha! One of the first things he asked was what size I wanted to be, to which I said 10 C or D. He took my measurements and explained that he would need to lower my crease because there was not much distance between my nipple. He also said that he would try to put in the biggest implants he can fit for me, which he said will most likely be 300cc and if I am not happy with the size I will have to wait at least 6 months to let the skin stretch to make room for bigger implants. I was happy with his suggestions, and he thoroughly explained the risks if he put in implants that were any bigger. After the consult I think I was in the operating room within about 20 minutes. We went to the cashier, where I paid in cash. Then I dropped my belongings off to my hospital room, changed out of my clothing and into a hospital gown and was lead to the theatre. I was on the operating table around 10:15am (there was a clock) so the whole process didn’t take long at all, everything ran very smoothly. Dr Piyapas held my hand as a lady inserted a needle in my other. The last thing I remember was someone putting a oxygen mask over my head, I took a few breaths and I woke up in the recovery room. I had a very dry throat, asked for some water and the sizes that I got. The nurse said I got 275cc in one side and 300 cc in the other, which I was surprised about as there wasn’t any mention of asymmetry in the consult. I was wheeled to my hospital room and was not feeling good at all. The pain was mainly in my sides, where I imagined the drains and incisions to be. But otherwise, it was bearable, the worse thing was the nausea. Slept for most of my time there, but later that night I was throwing everything up - including water. I was very sore when I tried moving, and couldn’t support myself to get out of bed. Next day I was still very sore, and still needed help to get up. Still very nauseas and couldn’t keep anything down. Dr Piyapas came to see me and gave my my implant info card. When he took out my drains, it was the most uncomfortable feeling ever! felt like my boobs were getting suctioned out. Went home at around noon. Day 3: Finally the nausea was mostly gone and I could eat fine. Pain was not so bad, no where near how I thought it would be. Could move a bit more although I was being very careful as I did not want to pull any muscles. Did some walking which was a little uncomfortable, but not painful. Haven’t taken any pain killers since they gave me some coming out of surgery as I didn’t feel the need and also didn’t want to feel nauseas anymore! Day 4: Feel pretty normal, a bit of morning boob but other than that, pretty good. I was comfortable moving around more and could lift my arms above my head. Got my hair washed and did some relaxing! Day 5 (today): Had my post op consult with Dr Piyapas today. He was kind, but very straight to the point. Took photos and showed me how to massage my boobs. I feel completely fine today, I can move my arms pretty freely (albeit still very careful). My boobs look decent for the first week - they just feel a bit numb and tight. Coming from nothing, I’m quite happy with the size so far but I can’t wait for them to drop and fluff! I will be posting photos in the near future, as well as updates when anything changes. Feel free to send over a FR Sorry for the loooong post, but hope this is helpful for anyone considering Dr Piyapas or BHP. Had a really good experience so far - would recommend them!
  8. Hi there ladies I am less than two months from my booked surgery date and I am having some second thoughts about my surgeon Dr Piyapas. I was originally set on Dr Boonchai because of the stellar reviews, but unfortunately PIAC does not offer smooth implants which I would prefer as they are softer. I have seen amazing reviews for the doctors from BHP, but I have also seen multiple negative reviews. Especially from people that are more further down the track with their recovery, who have not seen their boobs to recover the way that they should etc. I was just wondering if there are any ladies out there that had a BA with one of the doctors from Bangkok Hospital Phuket, and are maybe 6 or more months post op and how they are finding their results. As many of the negative reviews I have found said they would have 100% recommended their doctor within the initial recovery stage but as their recovery progressed they have had issues like infection, bottoming out and other things that are considered to be surgeon error. Thanks in advance! PS. I do not wish to plant doubt in anyone's mind, I am just trying to be thorough with my research.
  9. Hey guys, So my surgery is on Tuesday and I can barely contain my excitement, it's making me go loopy Has anyone got any last minute tips to share? I think I've got most things sorted but i'm one of those people that always forgets to pack their toothbrush! Thanks
  10. Hi Girls, I haven't posted on here for a WHILE now actually, but I would like to share my feelings/experience. Its only been 9 months since I have these babies and I love them, they are perfect size for my body and feels so soft and natural. Unfortunately I am no longer going to be able to have these babies anymore. Recently I have been diagnose with breast cancer, BUT on the up side of things because I have stretch my A cups to a D cups now that I will be have a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, hopefully the D cups will remain the same ><. (if anyone knows of anybody who have gone through Breast Augmentation then diagnose with Breast Cancer shed some light). I personally don't think the Cancer was caused by my Breast Augmentation, but what I do know is I don't have any Breast Cancer history in my family besides Colin Cancer - which was my grand-mothers sister. I do however stress the fact that all women should really know your own body and have your regular check ups for a peace of mind. I am only 27 and was told that it is really rare for younger women to have Breast Cancer but I guess it was just my luck. Apparently the Cancer could of been there for more than a year! So I am a little confused as to if I was checked for Breast Cancer prior to having the surgery. (Please have a mammogram done prior to you Breast Augmentation). Anyways, I not here to write a sob story but more to give all you lovely ladies a heads up on checking yourself prior to your surgery xx
  11. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and thought I would share my previous experience and my new plans for the future. It's coming up to my 4 year anniversary of having my BA done by Dr Chan in Perth. Starting out I was barely an 'A' cup, I didn't even need to wear a bra so having surgery was like stuffing a chicken! I got 345cc half under the muscle with the incision under the crease. Recovery for me was awful, I was bed ridden, got post op blues and felt like I had been hit by a truck. Going into my consultations I couldn't stress enough that all I wanted was a cleavage, at not one point was I informed that this was highly unlikely due to my bone structure and not having any tissue or fat to work with and the skin will be stretched enough as it is. But just as I was about to go into theatre and was an emotional wreck, he said "and just so you know there will be a gap between your breasts because of where your nipples sit", then I was whisked away under anaesthetic. Months after the healing went down I noticed my right boob would be completely flattened when I layer down and half hang into my armpit. I thought I was being paranoid but knew something wasn't right as my left one sat perfect, the right one you can stick your finger into the pocket and in photos it looks like it's being pulled downwards if I am not in the right bikini. The whole point of getting implants was so I didn't have to wear 'chicken fillets' and boosters anymore, but I have still continued to buy these to ensure they are pulled together nicely for photoshoots. Just after 1 year I raised my concerns with Dr Chan and had another consultation, he brought up my 3 week post op photos and said "oh yes you can see here that the right breast had already began to drag to the side". Ok, so why hadn't he picked this up in my 3 week check up because it then could have been fixed under the warrantee but because it had passed 1 year i'd still have to pay a minimum $3000 to have this fixed. I was just angry now because I wasted 15k on something I was not happy with and could have been prevented if the pocket was stitched properly. I didn't want to give him any more of my money. When I was 11 my mum had hers done by Dr Chan so that's why I went to him, obviously since then things are more advanced and the silicone had deflated so it was time for her to get new ones which she did in 2013. Mum is very tall, board shoulders and could go way bigger than what she had previously but Dr Chan only wanted to offer her 2 options. She asked to see more but he insisted the sizes on offer and so in her surgeon she trusted. Months past and they're the same damn size that she very first had, after many 'discussions' back and forth he admitted he should have shown her more options, that she could have gone bigger and they were the same size as previous. He agreed to do surgery AGAIN which she had at the start of this year I think, she still had to pay but i'm not 100% sure on the agreement or if I should be discussing the details of it. So as it's my 4 year anniversary I decided NEW BOOBS AND A HOLIDAY!!! I wasn't originally booked to go with the September group to Phuket as I am flying solo with my partner, but they have said I can be a part of it as it'll be easier. I'm really excited about it and would love to know which group I can discuss our Sept trip in. I haven't decided on what size to go, don't want to be enormous but I've seen amazing work by Dr Jib and Dr Piyapas who i'm also undecided on. Would love to see any before and after pics if you don't mind sharing. Am happy to answer any questions anyone may have also Sorry it's such a long story but I like to give as much information as possible. xx

  13. Has anyone had surgery with Dr Visnu? I can't seem to find any info anywhere on this dr. I have been recommended a breast reduction, lift & implants by him. Have also been recommended a lift & round silicon implants with inverted T incision by both dr piyapas & dr Pornthep.
  14. Hi ladies Help needed fast please!! I'm scheduled to fly to phuket with friends on the 10th march and desperately need recommendations for a quality, experienced and good plastic surgeon. I need to book quickly or not get in on my preferred date to allow for maximum recovery time before departing phuket on the 22nd I would really love recommendations, reviews, testimonys, befores and afters etc on anyone you've had a good experience with face and neck lift surgery. I'm considering Dr Piyapas at Bangkok Hospial Phuket but on this site I see mainly recommendations for his BA's and don't know much about his facial work other than an eyelid surgery (apparently excellent) I've received a very good quotation about Dr Narupon at PIAC but can't find any recommendations and only 1 before and after pic I'm a ripe old 64 and never had a facelift before so understandably feel that I need a surgeon I can trust and feel reassured and confident about. I would so appreciate your quick advise if anyone can assist me in making my decision. Such an important one cos i have to live with my face from here on dont I. Time is running out for me to book successfully, ..... rather than at the last minute and get someone who's work may not be recommended Thankyou
  15. Hey all.. So it's been 6 days post op and I have had the best experience !! Firstly DR PIYAPAS is AMAZING!! Another girl got hers done by him aswell and both of us have had amazon recovery. Hospital was Bangkok hospital Phuket and is the cleanest nicest staff hospital I've ever been to. Words can't explain how impressed I am as well as my mum who came to look after me. I didn't get to go as big as I wanted but doctor was worried about ddouble bubble due to my nipple being tto close to my crease/fold which is something I didn't want but the shape is great and I still got 325cc so not small hopefully a small D once I D&F. Anyone thinking of going to get it done dr piyapas is def recommended!!
  16. I had a consult with Dr Piyapus hoping for a BA and he told me I needed a donut lift too. But I'm only 22 and no kids. Bit scared about the lift and was wondering if anyone would share your experience/advice. Also a perth surgeon I would be fine with just an implant but I feel like I won't truly be 100% happy. Kind of hoping info about scars, infection, breast feeding and needing more lifts down the road

  23. Hi ladies! I am heading over to Thailand for a BA as part of a group with Restored Beauty Getaways in September this year. SO EXCITED! I think I have decided on Dr Piyapas on my surgeon from reading so many positive testimonials. I'm currently about a 12A looking to go to a full C or D. Would LOVE to hear from anyone who has had Dr Piyapas, or has had surgery booked through Restored Beauty about their experience and any recommendations! Thanks! x
  24. Hi ladies After stumbling over this forum only a few weeks ago - the hours I have spent on here have amounted up to almost a full working week Needless to say, I thought I should introduce myself and ask a few questions that I've not found answers to on here. I'm 27 from Sydney and have wanted a BA for so long and I woke up sometime in March thinking, 'I'm going to do it...this year!'. Even since I have not stopped thinking about it and researching. Though getting the support of my hubby proved difficult at first he is now fully supportive so now I'm in the process of trying to make firm plans. I just want boobies already! BUT...am stuck on a few details and I would totally love to hear back from you all about your opinions, thoughts, ideas etc. 1) The decision to go overseas of local - I've heard good things about Dr Piyapas and Dr Boonchai (Hubby has said he thinks overseas is a good option due to the sheer volume of procedures performed by these surgeons - can you match scalpel experience with a piece of paper or being part of an accredited group or society?) 2) I'd like to have kids within the next 3 years and would love to hear about how breast implants are affected due to BA I really love Dr Rastogi's work - but if I am honest, price is definitely a factor. TCI seem like the obvious choice in Sydney. Would love to hear more from those who have had experience with any of the above. I'm 170cm tall and 60kg at the moment. Thanks again for reading and for responding (still figuring out how to use this thing....) Elle
  25. So I have finally managed to get some time to upload pictures and write about my experience! I will try to keep it short but I think its going to be pretty long. I went to Phuket to get new boobs and 2 crowns + teeth whitening. All up my procedures cost $6200.00 AUD (Quoted 12K for boobs and 3K+ for teeth in Perth so ive paid less then half the price). So much to say... Dont know where to begin. Its been awhile I cant remember the full detals. But I booked the trip myself direct with the Hospital. They arranged for drivers to pick me up and drop me off from my hotel. There was only one instance when the driver did not arrive (morning of surgery AHHH)... I called the hospital and the lady arranged everything straight away and apologised for the miss communication. The day before surgery I went to the hospital to get a mould taken of my teeth for the crowns. I went to the registration desk and they signed me up took a photo and gave me a hospital ID card. I wont go into detail about the teeth if anyone is interested send me a message. Will say that the lady dentist I had was lovely and really accommodating to my fear of needles. Anyway... After arriving at the hospital on the morning of my operation I was asked to complete some forms about medical history etc. While doing that a friendly australian girl was there getting a 3/4 day check up. She basically lifted her top in the waiting room and gave me and my bf a look haha. I had my blood and weight taken then got photos taken of my boobs before the operation. (I thought it was a bit strange they lady kinda was there watching me undress and dress)... I then was escorted to the Radiology and Heart Centre for X rays and ECG? (i think) testing. It was great they took you where you need to go and there was not very much waiting. When I finally met with Dr Piyapas he was so nice and calm it made me feel much more easy. I basically knew what I wanted after all the research id done. I told him my thoughts and asked what cup size I wanted afterwards first I said D then was like DD? I want the biggest you can fit safely (lol) - He did measurements and wrote all over me in pen and pointed out that my boobs didnt match I was already well aware of that and we talked about him evening them out with more CCs in the left. He also went over the different sizes and profiles. He didnt have and Mod + sizers to try on but thought they would fit my shape better. I wanted to see pictures of Mod + and High Profile implants as after photos but he said it would take too much time so I just said he can do what he thinks is best. We decided between 350-400CC. I kept saying the bigger the better! After that I was so excited and couldnt wait! Then they asked me when I last ate (6am that morning) - I was under the understanding my surgery was at about 2:30pm that day and thought that was ok and 8 hours was enough but it wasnt so they took me to pay for the pricedure and then up to my hospital room and said I would need to wait for awhile and I waited and waited and was really mad I ate something as I was meant to be the first patient at 11:30am but ended up going in at 4:30pm. While in the room I was pretty bored. I had my iphone with me but that was all. The TV was not really that good all the channels didnt match their listing so it was really annoying trying to go through them all. Most of the english channels were cartooms. Anyway a nurse came in and put in the IV line. It was really painful and continued to be because I pressed down on my arm not long after having it put in... It REALLY hurt! So when the time finally come to take me to theater they put me in a wheel chair and rolled me down. I thought this would be the point where Id start freaking out... But I didnt I was sick of waiting and just wanted to get it done! Outside the operating rooms they transfered me to a theatre bed and then i was wheeled through to my theatre. It was freezing cold and no one was in there for a few minutes and I was so cold I was shivering. Then the anaesthetist came in and asked me about all the medications I was allergic too, if id had surgery before, if my parents ever had complications etc... Then he strapped my arms down and out and I was like OMG... Dr Piyapas came in and was so friendly and nice and we talked about sizing again. I didnt want him to stuff in the biggest size for the sake of it and told him again just to put in what he thought was the best fit not the biggest because I had been so greedy beforehand in the consultation. He said he'd take good care of me held my hand and then thats pretty much all I remember I dont recall the anaesthetist saying right its time or them putting me to sleep. When I woke up I was cold freezing cold and shaking I felt pain in my chest and they moved me onto another bed that really really hurt. All I remember is saying to a nurse what size did I get and is it normal to be shaking like this? She told me 375cc and then they put a blanket on me and all I felt was warm air... I remember thinking awwwwesommmme!!! haha then I drifted in and out of sleep and also remember at one point saying I need to go to the toilet... She put a bed pan under me but I dont think I could bring myself to pee lying down I remember thinkging ew its going to go all over me and it felt wrong haha but i must have!?!. When it was time to go back to my room my bf was there outside of recovery and all I said to him was... i was shaking like a bad hangover hahaha or something like that. When I got to my hospital room they transfered me to my bed againt and that was the most painful part. the nurse gave me some sleeping pills and I went to sleep. Woke up the next day feeling sore but could manage to hold my drains and negotiate the IV to the bathroom to use the toiet unassisted. The nurses came in every now and then. Dr Piyapas came in and gave me the Mentor implants card and also pulled out my drains. I asked him if it would hurt. He said you'll feel it but it shouldnt. It didnt hurt, just felt weird like you could definetly feeling dragging along my side. He said that I could take off the banadages and wear a bra aswell before I left the hospital. He mentioned that he used the same CC in each boob as it wouldnt have looked right otherwise and I was a bit dissapointed as I knew the left was smaller.... But thought O well he knows best. So did the big unveiling in my bathroom after I got in the shower and made sure my top half didnt get wet. I was quite surprised I was this mobile and up about about showering on day 1. When I got out and took the bandages off there was no bruising - they looked bigger for sure but were kinda flat, square, and a really ugly shape from side view. I knew they'd be ugly to begin with so that didnt bother me. I got ready by myself doing things in slow motion as some movement hurt then checked out of the hospital. Before I left I picked up my medicine and then got a driver to take me back to the hotel. I thought it was good they gave me 2 ice packs and every medication was clearly labelled how many pills to take and how often. The drive back over the bumps did hurt I just held onto my boobs to make sure they didnt bounce too much. Got back to hotel and my bf was there. We went out into Patong and brought some dvds and had lunch. I was walking around slowly but was not in much pain. The next few days was just taking things easy I was never bed ridden and so sore I couldnt go out. I was expecting to be lying in bed too sore to move for at least day 1-4 but I never felt that bad! On day 4 me and my bf did a day trip on a boat out to James Bond Island... It was not very bumpy or rough on the boat and I wasn't hurting at all except for a few stabs here and there if I moved a certain way. I went to see Dr P for a check up on day 5 I think. I told him my right boob was hurting more and there was some stabbing pain only on that side that was happening infrequently he presribed me some medication for the nerves that might have been affected during surgery. He took off the dressings and put on waterproof bandages and then took more pictures. He gave me some pink shower gel that was medicated and that was pretty much that. No drama no concerns. I paid for my medicine and went back to the hotel again. Carried on pretty well and no problems for the next few days and then one morning I work up with a sore calf muscle and was worried I might have a blood clot - i did a bit of googling and thought i would be alright... I had an appointment the next day with Dr P again so if it was still hurting just thought that I would tell him... It wasnt on the morning I saw him for the last time and I forgot about it. The last consult he took off the waterproof dressings and he taught me how to massage. He took the last set of photos aswell and wanted one with me too which I thought was nice and I got one too on my iphone. Its been over a month now since new boobs... Im a bit annoyed that the left boob has dropped quicker then the right and they look a bit wonky with the nipples sitting in different positions - I know that only me and my bf see that but im hoping right boob will join the lefty soon and they will look more even - I hope anyway because the right boob was always a bit bigger then the left. I have put up before and after pictures you can clearly see the difference in boobs beforehand so I guess you cant get perfectly even and symmetrical boobs post op if you didnt have them to begin with. In saying that though I really LOVE the size of them now and the feeling of having that fullness without any push up padded bras. I am so happy i got them done! Dr Piyapas is such a nice surgeon and from the moment I met him I knew id be in good hands!!!
