  1. Im feeling so upset. I had a breast lift and implants on the 5th feb at theptarin hospital and went through Bangkok makeovers, whilst everything generally went ok, The after care and final results are not at all what I wanted and I feel absolutely gutted. I cant een begin to describe how I feel. I wanted big boobs, not natural looking boobs. When we were in consultation I was under the impression I was opting for larger boobs and dr preehaphas said 325cc was big. I really wish I had gone 400cc at least. Evveryone says the just look like natural normel boobs. Not really what I wanted at all. So anyway I had excepted the size and decided I will just live wth it. I still had steri tape on around the areola insicion and asked Bangkok makeovers when to take it off. A few days later I got a short reply, let them fall off naturally. I hae felt completely uneducated about any after care and every question I ask I may get a response for 1/3 questions. When I saw a small dark spot on insicion, I asked Rachel to look at the photo attached and was worried it was dying tissue. I got no reply exept for take the steri strips off and see a doctor. I saw my doctor that morning who couldn't help me because he isn't a plastic surgeon and said to send photo to the company and show dr p. I emailed again and my response I received said, "I showed dr p, photo is too close, see your doctor" I was furious because I already had aand I would at least have thought she would hae asked me for another pic or some questions about symptoms. I then replied after I took the steri strips off to my absolute shock I have one MASSIVE nipple and one small nipple. (in consultation Rachel told me dr p had cookie cutters to resize them) When I emailed about the size difference she completely disregarded me and didn't even acknowledge that there was an issue. SO I am now, after planning and saving for years, and all the time off work and away, am going to see a different surgeon to get my nipples sized, and implants that are actually larger. Im not complaining as I probably could have been more clearer about wanting BIG implants, but I guess I trusted their oppinions, Whilst it was not a bad experience, Im so devasted with my nipples and im back to not wanting to show my breasts, after a trip that cost me 7,000. Be clear girls of what you want and please if getting an aerola insicion (I wasn't even told what insicion I was getting) please make sure your doctor can size them accuretly. Mine look like they have been cut but who knows what happened. Will post pics if interested in Dr Ps work.
  2. To be continued. I've had 2 years of hell recovering from the worst job TT. I even picked up the equivilant of Australia's MRSI. Though a Thai version. Almost untreatable in Australia. Though this was only a small thing that went on. My now Sydney Surgeon- leading plastics surgeon in Australia -has begged him for my med records and he refuses. They even know each other personally and he used this side of their relationship to appeal to him. Dr pre has now cut all communication. my doc has now reported him because he believes the whole process - from beginning of surgery to follow up - was definitely negligence. This means nothing in Thailand though when he comes here on conferences (which is often apparently) he will be regarded as a non colleague. Please please believe me when I say - DO NOT GO with this doctor . im still recovering though once it's all over I shall give full account with pics .
  3. Hey everyone, This is to show you my results from my aerolar lift and implants organised by rachel at bangkok makeovers by dr P. As you can see, the surgeon over dissected the pocket and the implants raise up to my collarbone and my nipples have trippled in size. Its been an ongoing battle, but i want to put these photos to as many girls wanting to save some dollars like i did and see bangkok makeovers, because i can tell you know, this has ruined me. The help ive gotten? none. About to put 14,000 australian dollars to an australian plastic surgeon to have these fixed. Wish i never went to bangkok, let alone to see Dr P or rachel. IF you want more infomation please message me im happy to show the emails i have recieved from bangkok makeovers.
  4. I am currently booking with Bangkok Makeovers and would like reviews of their service... Good and bad! I am shocked to read the bad as all i have experienced is great! And any reviews on Dr Preeyaphas too! Thanks ladies x
  5. Hi everyone, I've actually been looking through these forums for months now, but have just signed up today lol. I have wanted breast augmentation since before I had boobs, i'm 23 and have had 2 kids, so my girls arent as perky as they used to be and with weight loss, weight gain, weight loss and weight gain (back and forth back and forth) i'm definitely not happy with them, im still in the process of getting to a weight im happy with but it seems like my boobs are the only thing that gets smaller. I had $15,000 worth of dental work done a couple of years ago (which we still have a hefty loan for) so coming up with $10k+ for surgery in Aus doesnt seem like a possibility, I never thought I would actually consider Thailand for b/a but the more I have researched it over the past couple of years, the more appealing it has become, not only due to price, but some of the great stories i've read and heard about, I feel like Thailand has a really bad reputation for surgery, like if I was to say to my family, 'im considering a boob job overseas' I can only imagine all the negatives they will chuck at me, like the dirtiness, the horror stories etc, but if only they actually looked into it, I think they'd be pleasantly surprised. I personally dont feel I would get any better treatment here in Aus and to be honest, i've liked the before and after photos of surgery over there than the majority of the ones I see on websites for Australian surgeons- thats not to say they are all bad though! Anyways, im kind of rambling so i'll get on with it, I have 3 surgeons in mind that stand out the most, in no particular order- Doctor Teerasit, Doctor Nond and Doctor Preeyaphas. How did everyone come to their decision on what surgeon they went with, was there a particular deciding factor, or did you just get a better feeling about a certain one or?? I feel like I will drive myself crazy trying to come up with a decision.. anyways, would love to hear from some of you x
  6. About Time I posted about my experience my bad!! I flew to Bangkok on the 5th of march 2013 at around 9pm. My mum and i were Picked up at the baggage claim by someone from Bangkok flight service and was escorted to the Bangkok hospital counter to get all my appt details and then driven to the Bangkok makeover (bm) apartments. The airport is huge!! But so new and was very easy and stress free finding my way around even after a long flight. The next day I had a meeting with Rachel in the morning to discuss sizes and try them on.. She explained to me what to expect at the hospital and the differences in profiles etc. we chose 350cc mod plus depending on the fit which is up to the surgeon to decide if they would actually fit in (I'm pretty tiny) BM drove us to the hospital and I had my consult with the amazing dr preeyaphas he is so lovely and friendly he really makes the whole process so stress free and enjoyable. Having a laugh is always good to calm the nerves. He agreed on the size saying it would just fit and that he wouldn't want to go any bigger as I'd have to go to high profile (less width more projection) and then they wouldn't look as good with my outward facing nipples lol would have accentuated it.. So that was that! I was happy to trust his recommendation. He had one surgery to do before mine so I was taken to my lovely hospital room to wait for surgery. Which was a blessing even though I was starving haha I got to set up the wifi and get everything organised for when I came out of recovery. I went into surgery at 4:30 going under around 5 and was out back into my room sometime after 9:30 pm... To my worried mother haha poor thing.. The pain was bearable more tight and heavy feeling than painful but the worst was being transferred from the wheelie bed thing to the hospital room bed... That wasn't pleasant but I was settled comfy and with a dose of pethedine went straight to sleep. ASK for pethedine! Hahaha I didn't hesitate to press the buzzer and ask for more (4 shots!) and they even said no once as it was less than an hour since my last hahaha. Oops! I don't recall being in a lot of pain I just wanted to be asleep again it's only one night and its worth getting the rest and use of good pain killers while you can the nurses are quick to come when you press the buzzer and very polite, respectful and helpful. The next morning at 9:30 Rachel from bm came and picked me (and the other girl getting surgery) up and we went back to the apartments. It's all over so quickly and then the initial recovery (first day-2) is relatively easy and the pain is bearable. More uncomfortable than painful. I rested the first day and then the next day had a mani and pedi and walked through the shops for a while.. But didn't venture out too long as I tired very quickly and had to rest and eat Etc... All in all my trip was fantastic and I had a great time meeting the other ladies getting surgery and all the ladies who work at Bangkok makeovers are wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.. Dr p is amazing he has done such a great job I looked so good only a few days after surgery (actually straight away!) they're so natural and all my friends have said how they have exceeded expectations by far.. I also met dr suchart and he took my stitches out as dr p was held up in another surgery so he was also lovely and very friendly and gentle! Pm me if you have any questions it is by far the best thing I have done for myself and I haven't even seen them in a proper bra yet ! Dr P is a magician with boobs
  7. Hi ! I have joined this thread as I deleted my facebook page and still wanted to get advice / hear previous stories etc of BA patients of Dr Preeyaphas. I have booked in with Bangkok Makeovers for June 19th at Bangkok Hospital and am really excited!!! If anyone else is going around this time please add / message me, it would be great to share my experience with another person. I was just wondering if anyone could help me with a few questions - any advice is super helpful Stretchmarks - Is it normal for everyone to get them after BA? Does anyone have photos or do they go away with vitamin e /biooil? Exercise - has anyone found that having a BA has really stopped them from training - weights /cardio etc And also how did everyone carry their banana pillows over with them? Did you just buy them there? If anyone doesn't mind sharing photos of their BA's that would be great! I can't think of anything else right now but would love to hear any advice on what to bring etc! Thank you
  8. Hi Girls, well my journey is beginning. First things first: Thank you to all ladies who have shared on this forum. Absolutely invaluable! You know who you are. After mothering 3 beautiful children, breastfeeding all till I was sacked from the job and my last pregnancy resulting in a C-section I am left with minus A boobies and a saggy puku (tummy), which I cringe at everyday that I have to look at my body. My husband loves me the way I am - your body gave us 3 beautiful healthy children. But this journey is for me. And with my husbands support I am happy to proceed with my 'want' to get some boobies in proportion to my body size (173cm of Maori descent) and cut off that excess skin sagging from my belly - which pains me to see when I am in a gym session, planking and looking down the top of my teeshirt...there is that excess skin, just hanging there arrggghhh!! Step 1: referral from my GP to a local PS. My referral gives me a FREE consult ($140) covered by medicare Step 2: get prices for required procedures from a few local PS and the PS I have my referral for. OMG that is approx $20K all up. With lift and implant I could get the $12,700 cost down to approx $8800 because my youngest child is under 7 years old and must have private health insurance and medicare. Must pay upfront and get costs back. With the TT I could get the $8346 down to approx $7,000 with having private health insurance and medicare (this reduction is NOT dependant on child birth, its for everyone). Step 3: Freak out and think oh my gosh there goes my 'want', that price is too much for our financial situation. Step 4: Start researching other countries and walah. This website. Other forums and utube. The research begins... Step 5: Stumble across a video diary of a satisfied BA with Dr P as her surgeon. Read quite a few blogs on this forum from that lady. Took from the video diary and blogs what I wanted. Step 6: Read and read and read and researched and researched and researched and narrowed down my choices of surgeon, hospital and travel/accommodation plan specific to my needs and wants. Step 7: Made contact with the two travel agencies I had narrowed down to - got prices for procedures (lift and implant 104,000 bht, TT no lipo 140,000 bht), accommodation and agency fees. Satisfied with both agencies thus far Step 8: Finally joined as a member on this forum and finally started asking questions and received valuable advice, feedback and first hand accounts Step 9: Made a decision on agency and surgeon. Received booking and op date confirmation by email. Step 10: Paid $300 agency booking fee. Booked and paid $884 return flights (14 days post op required for TT). Step 11: confirmed with agency that procedure costs paid directly to hospital and accommodation costs paid at the end of my stay. Step 12: Rang my bank to advise a lump sum will be debited from my debit card whilst abroad. They advised under the 'falcon system' they would lodge my dates of when I am overseas so that they know its me and not fraudulent activity on our account so that they dont cancel our card on us. Step 13: Took a deep breath and started writing this blog. Still to do: Hubby to book annual leave from work to take up my duties here to keep our childrens routines ticking along Book medical insurance (in reading FB and blogs here I saw 7 corners and global protective surgeries are the ones?) Book travel insurance for flights, etc ??? Tell my Mum and Dad and my extended family of my implants (remember I am part Maori with 62 first cousins) and also my friends...dont want to turn up to the school run and cause neck injuries. This to me is the hardest part of this journey - Telling family and friends. Notice how I only said implants - remember I am a minus A with naturally broad shoulders. I cant remember the last time my tummy saw the light of day so no-one would know that I have saggy skin under my clothing. So the TT is a very private affair for me. But there will be no getting away from knowing I have had some 'fake boobies' put in my body...these are words I can only imagine will fly back at me. I am never one to judge anyone - never have and never will. I normally stay away from people who judge...opinions are like a**holes, everyones got one (sorry Admin if Im not allowed to write that. Wont happen again if you reprimand me). Anyway thats my story so far. I am scared. Definitely, no doubt about that. I am happily married with beautiful children and a beautiful privilidged life. I want to go to Bangkok and return home. I know there could be complications with my surgeries, with my post op recovery. I know the risks I take. I just sincerely want to be one of the success stories who comes home, satisfied that I have listened to my surgeons post op advice, followed it to the tee and experience no post op problems. Massage Massage Massage. No lifting, no exercise. No swimming. No sandy beaches. What ever Dr P says I will do!!! Now I think I have covered everything. Thanks for reading. Happy to hear your TT stories and if anyone is travelling with Bangkok Makeovers between 29/02/2012 to 15/03/2012, see you at the apartment:)
  9. Hi, I'm booked in for a BA in Feb with Dr Preeyahpas as i heard he was pretty good through a friend. The date is drawing close now and i'm getting so nervous. Has anyone used Dr Preeyahpas before? Not sure what i need to consider? My initial appointment and surgery is all booked in for the same day. Would like to research as much as i can before i get there so i'm fairly certain of what i want. I also do a bit of bodybuilding will this effect my choices? Any info would be welcomed please
  10. Could you share your photos with me and can I ask you questions please?
  11. Hi everyone, I've been doing research on breast implants for the past couple of years and had a few consultations with PS's in Melbourne, but I was never 100% about the surgeons so I never went ahead with it. I am now seriously considering going to Dr Preeyaphas in Bangkok through Global Health Travel due to the much cheaper costs and all the positive feed back I have seen on Dr Preeyaphas on these boards. My question is, has anyone used Global Health Travel before? They seemed really helpful and provided much more information than bangkok makeovers, but was just wondering if anyone had used them before and had any feedback? Also has anyone got any experiences with sugery in Thailand? I want this so bad but I just want to be 100% before I do anything. Thank you everyone for your help!!
