  1. Just wanting to know any ladies that got 375ml or cc extra full profile dual plane with a lift (even without). Where you happy with the size? Pictures would be amazing too!
  2. Hey lovelies I have to apologise in advance, I know this may be the upteenth post on this topic, or at least on the round vs anatomicals thing! I'm a first time BA lady and I have done so much research I actually feel like my brain is boggling. I would love to hear your personal perspective or thoughts. So, I've booked in with Dr Boonchai for 5 June. When he saw my photos he said that I had glandular rather than true breast ptosis (which ... I mean, they are still saggy whatever you call them). They are a B-cup. I'm not a tiny girl, 5'4" and 63-64kg with quite a wide chest. He said 350-400cc dual plane anatomical or round. So here's the thing: anatomicals sound fantastic except for the rotation issue. I have to say, this scares me. I understand that it depends on the pocket the surgeon creates, and it must be very precise. Dr Boonchai seems very highly regarded and very experienced but ... I guess sometimes things can go wrong? Ugh. I'm sorry for fretting but this really concerns me. What do you think?
  3. Hi Ladies! I'm on the hunt for a surgeon in Brisbane or the Gold Coast who has good results with dual plane placement. After years of breastfeeding I have a mild degree of sagging. Luckily my nipple position is fairly good still so I gather it's referred to as glandular sagging or psuedoptosis. I'm confident I can get away without needing a lift...for now anyway! Can anyone reccommend a good surgeon who has had good results with this type of placement?
  4. Hi there, I understand that going under the muscle (in my case it will be dual plane….so between the pec muscles, which I'm assuming is the usual under muscle spot) makes the implants appear smaller because they're being squashed more than if they're subfascial. I'm just wondering how much smaller. Anyone have any thoughts, info or experience about this? Thanks
  5. Can anyone help?! I had a BA on Saturday. I had dual plane position, round 325cc implants. Yesterday when I touched the top of my right breast I could feel a horizontal bump across the top of my boob about 2 cm above my nipple. I went to the surgeon today and he is certain that it is just the implant bulging out from beneath the newly retracted pec muscle and has said that as the swelling decreases and fluid absorbs from behind the implant the implant should sit nicely into place. At the moment the top of my breast is very round which I'm guessing is to be expected and then it is almost flattish over my nipple. The fluid from around my nipple has gone. Has anyone else had this happen. You can feel the same thing ever so slightly on my left boob too in the same place. Is is this normal because I am freaking out that it is rippling!! 😳
  6. I want to share my journey so far with you all as this forum has really helped me, I've been researching for 4 years I had 3 face to face consults, one phone consult and sent my photos to 2 other surgeons and countless hours on the Internet researching and I finally picked my surgeon Hamish Farrow as he was the most honest and helpful of them all I just knew in the consult he was the PS for me it took 5 months to get a appointment with him it it was worth the wait, in the first appointment he spent over a hour with my husband and I talking about the best way to get the outcome I wanted he showed me pictures of work he has done and we tried on sizers he had a cancellation for the 20th of July so I jumped onto it and took it which was 4 weeks away On the morning of my surgery I decided to go to work from 6-12 which wasn't the best idea I ate at 5am then had to fast, I finished work at 11am dues to feeling dizzy ( I'm a PT and fitness instructor) I went home showered and headed to the hospital for my 2 pm admission at St Vincent's Melbourne East, they then took me to my private room and got me settled in and did all my pre op questions and paperwork and got changed into my gown, they took me down to the theatre holding bays at 4:30pm ( I was starving and just wanted it all over so I could eat) The anaesthesia lady came to see me and ask more questions then Hamish came and drew all over my chest he was so lovely and caring and funny about 15 minutes later I was wheeled into theatre where there put a drip in my arm and gave me a cocktail as they called it, I quickly told them to give me amazing boobs and was out to it!!! I woke up 2 hrs later in a fair bit of pain and shaking they gave me pain medicine at intervals to help and once I was settled I took a look at my new girls.... It was instant love at first sight, I thencontinued to show every nurse my new boobs 😜, hamish came and saw me and said it all went well they wheeled me back to my room about half hour later where I continued to tell any nurse I had boobs!! The nurses then put my post op crop on Once I was settled they gave me some ice and a icy pole and then once I was less groggy I had a sandwich and some ice cream I asked the ward nurses what they thought of my new boobs and they said very perky!! I didn't sleep much that night then Hamish came and saw me and told me my chest wall was very interesting but he didn't have to do the vertical lift only the benelli lift and he out in 300cc in my right and 350cc in my left I go back and see him next Monday im over the moon with my results so far, Hamish likes a active revovery so I can try to do normal things asap just no chest work, I can be walking by day 3, my pain is not that bad just tight Im only PO day 2 so will keep you updated I also have put before and after photos up if you want to see them 😊 thanks for reading xx
  7. Hi all Has anyone had dual plane teardrops with a Thai surgeon? If so, can you advise who and your outcomes with this? My recommendations have arrived today and all 3 suggest the above - I have tuberous breasts with a wide distance (gap) between the nipples. Thanks!

    Tci bondi

Hey girls, I have my BA booked for December with dr lee from tci, just wanted to hear some of your stories? And what placement and if any of you's had a lowered incision? Or if anyone was more complicated? Thank you's so excited!!
  9. I posted this in response someone else's topic so apologies if your seeing this twice. I just thought I'd get more answers post on its own. I'm feeling much better after meeting another plastic surgeon locally. Dr Nick Moncreiff . I'm booked in for 4th August. I cancelled with TCI & they were really great about it. They gave me a full refund of my deposit and consult fee. Dr Moncrieff was fantastic. He seemed to really get what it was I was after & was confident that I did not need a full lift. He's going to do teardrop implants with a wide base, dual plane. Then sit me up on the table & if he's not happy with how they look he will do an incision around my nipple on the left side ( not sure what it's called) and fix it that way & won't charge me any extra for doing so. I feel really confident with him but think I half switch off in the consult so I still have a few things I need to clarify at my next appointment before surgery. I was too excited that it was actually happening. Lol We initially discussed 300cc, then discussed 375cc. So I'm not to sure what he's got written down for me. I'm a little nervous that I'm not going to get the upper pole I'm after using teardrops, but maybe that's just the trade off I'll have to accept to avoid having a lift. Currently I'm about a 12/14A cup, 164cms 69kg. Hoping to achieve a full Cup or small D. I absolutely do NOT want any bigger. I've had small boobs all my life & am not exactly a small girl either so I feel like if I went bigger than that, that I'd look a lot bigger. I'm also a little worried that if I don't choose big enough ones & they shrink that I'll be left unhappy, & I certainly can't afford to go in for a revision. Anyone else here of similar stats ? Or used tear drop implants dual plane ? Or knows anything about anything I've written and could provide useful advice. lol.

  11. I know this has probably been answered elsewhere, but cannot seem to find what i'm looking for, but, does a BA done using the dual plane technique drop and fluff the same way a BA done as unders would? I'm assuming that a dual plane being placed partially under the muscle would't have as much dropping and fluffing to do? Ta ladies
  12. Hi Everyone I have just had a consultation with Dr. Kim Hardwood of Brisbane. I have a small frame, i'm 160cm and weigh 57kg. Right now I have small B cups that are not a nice shape, quite pointy and tuberous. I am aiming a natural, full C/D cup. I want them to be in proportion with the rest of my body and I want to be able to get away with no bra every once in a while. I've been recommended to have 270cc high profile nuance shaped implants (oval/wider base and less tall that anatomical teardrop) brazillians going dual plane. Everyone I seem to talk to says 270cc is quite small, does this just depend on a persons frame? ei, can a 270cc look big on some and small on others? I'm so confused. I did have another consultation previously with Dr. Flemming who suggested 250cc teardrop over the muscle, which then Dr. Harwood advised against warning that because of the natural shape of my breast I would be more vulnerable to the double creasing -eek! So, just wanting everyones thoughts and opinions! Also it's quite hard to find photos of nuance dual plan implants on someone of similar size so any surgery stories or photos would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Ladies!!
