  1. Hey guys, 4 days ago I had my breast Augmentation through CosMediTour in Sydney. Iv been youtubing my experience so feel free to check it out and ask any questions ! I'm super happy no regrets! Here's the link!
  2. Hi Everyone, I've been considering rhinoplasty for a while now and researching for the last year. I've read hundreds of posts and looked at hundreds of photos of patients of doctors from Australia and all over the world. If I'm going to get it done I want a good result! So recently I came across a few pictures of patient who had their noses done by Dr Chatpong in Bangkok and so far they are my favourite out comes. Both the profile and the front view look great (to my eye). Also the tips look great too, I've heard this is very difficult. The only problem is I can only find photos from three or four rhino patients. Has anyone here had rhino with Dr Chatpong? Or is considering it? Or might want to share their experiences or photos? My nose: bulbous tip and over projected.
  3. I am currently in my 3rd day post op and thought I would share my experience, because as we all know everyone's experience is different & I have had friends who went out for dinner the day of surgery and others who were bed bound the whole week. So here is mine, feel free to ask any questions as I am only day 3 so who knows what tomorrow may bring! The week of the surgery I came down with a cold and was freaking out that my surgery would be cancelled so was quite a bit stressed but after trying every home remedy I could find on google including eating raw garlic and drinking apple cider vinegar it all cleared for me on the day (thankfully!) I was lucky that I had surgery super early on Friday and was admitted at 6am with surgery at 7am & once surgery was done I was told to eat once I got home and take my meds. My partner unfortunately had to go back to work so I was alone but I seemed to manage fine & even though I was not organised. I originally made a pillow fort on the couch but found that getting up from the couch was too painful (as it was too low and too hard to get out of) so I moved to the bed and with my meds was in and out of it but found that laying down was fine but as soon as I had to get out of bed it hurt to stand up ( and the actual getting out of bed part was difficult). I felt like my scars would pop open and my implants would fall out & my chest felt so tight. The meds also made me feel a bit nauseous but seemed to pass but their were times that I thought I had to throw up and I really didn't want too because that would have really hurt! I managed to go to the toilet to pee but trying to pull my underwear back up was pretty difficult & tried to avoid getting up as much as I could to avoid the getting up part which was the only time I felt the pain and also understood the T-Rex comparison people use. I also didn't shower this day (which was my instruction) and also didn't open the bra they put me in ( which resembles a granny pointy bra which clips on the front) as I was too scared too look at them yet - mainly because I didn't want to look at them and be disappointed. Day 2 - I woke up at 4:30am and by this point the meds had worn off and my pain medication could only be taken with food and I could feel where the incisions were anytime I moved which was uncomfortable & still had the tight chest feeling so I pretty much wanted to eat straight away so I could take these meds ( which I find amazing and worked really well for the pain) and as soon as I took them an hour later I was dosing back off. I am a side sleeper so was surprised to find that sleeping on my back with 3 pillow to prop me up didn't bother me I think mainly because it was comfortable and also helped with the pain. Compared to yesterday I was able to move quite a bit. I still couldn't leave the house or do anything crazy. But going to the toilet and getting up out of bed throughout the day gradually got easier. Maybe the medication helped me and I just couldn't feel it? I'm not sure but felt ok. I also actually read through the post op instructions I got and was supposed to be icing them and doing stretches which I hadn't been doing so I started doing these throughout the day. Also had a shower and had a look at my new boobs for the first time. I am extremely happy with how they look. I was sooo stressed previously about whether they would be too small or too big and they are just perfect. I just can't wait for them to drop because at the moment they are so hard, they are high but nothing too crazy. I also found that this day I was quite flatulent which I assumed came down to the meds. Before bed I also took the max dose of the pain meds ( which is 2 at a time) not because I was in a lot of pain but because I wanted a good sleep. This morning I experienced what seemed like 'morning boob' which is the tightness of the pectorals muscles as while you sleep they haven't been moved around so is quite tight. But after I got up and moved around I felt pretty good and took my usual dose this morning but the difference in today is that I am getting more mobility back I can move my arms around more & reach further etc and also occasionally can feel the implants move around which has been a weird feeling to have. Occasionally I have been feeling these tingling feelings which after reading things online it seems like nerve sensations are coming back? Also didn't mention that my breasts still feel numb. If I touch my nipple I can't feel it. Midday meds I took a smaller dose of pain medication and was also able to go to the toilet today and do a number 2 without taking any laxatives. I'm excited for tomorrow as each day I'm feeling better but then I have different feelings/sensations in my body which I have to google haha because I want to make sure it is normal and not something going wrong inside. Still haven't left the house as I probably could tomorrow but my instructions were to rest and no exercise so don't want to risk anything & when I do walk I am super slow and occasionally walk on my tiptoes, no idea why?. I have my post op consultation on wednesday so hopefully by then I will be ok to drive. Will keep you updated!
  4. Wondering what peoples experiences were of how hungry and what they felt like the week following surgery. I'm going to be staying in a hotel for 5 days after my overnight stay but i'm not too sure how much food I will require. As i am into bodybuilding i do have a rough plan of what I will be eating after the week of surgery including pre prepared meals however i'm not sure how much of it i'll feel like eating or how much to take, although I will have my sister bring me dinner and i'm not stressed just curious because I am an overplanner and I also don't wan tto over pack just to lighten the load I have had GA in the past when i've had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I was fine and was eating perfectly normal first day but obviously due to surgery on my mouth and the swelling etc I wasnt very hungry etc ( so can't compare that to BA/BL) so I'm not sure how hungry I will be in the days following and what to expect there
  5. Hi gals! I'm 3 weeks post op from my breast augmentation and I am absolutely loving them. I wrote up a little blog post (let me continue to reiterate that I am not a doctor!) about the things I learned before and after my surgery. I've gotten some great feedback from friends, peers, and strangers about it who are thinking about getting theirs done so if you're curious- have a read! Cheers and enjoy! http://mischkebusiness.com/2014/10/21/the-boobs/#more-2938
  6. I'm worried as I've only seen their pictures on their website, I haven't been able to find any from patients on any other sites. I've heard many ladies rave about them, is there another forum with some reviews and pictures? Or could you ladies let me know some of your pros and cons about them? And are all on-going follow ups covered by the $5990?
  7. Hey guys So I had my surgery on the 11th November at Bangkok hospital phuket with dr p and so far my only regret is not going bigger!! Honest to god I can not stop touching them. I was walking along the street and walked straight into someone because I was too busy staring down at them hahaha my side boob is like out of control! Im 167cm 60kg and had 325cc smooth gel implants placed under the muscle. I was a 10b to start off with and have no idea what size I'll be so if anyone knows that would be awesome haha The staff at the hospital are really friendly, helpful and caring. They provide better care than that of nurses back home! They escort you everywhere so you don't need to worry about getting lost and stressing. The whole thing was completely stress free I feel. I've still got some pain mainly along the outside of my breasts where the drains were, which didn't hurt having them taken out if anyone was wondering. My nipples are also super sensitive sometimes. My incisions are really clean and surprisingly small which is awesome. They seem to be healing really well but at different rates. I've been dressing mine myself since I got my bandages off. I did heaps of walking around without discomfort the day after and there onwards which probably wasn't the best idea for the first couple of days but it's doable. I only took the pain medication for the first five days and then felt like I didn't need it anymore. I also kinda forgot to ice for the first like 4 days haha my swelling is pretty much completely gone now though. I highly recommend the Anna post op bra everyone talks about. It's so comfy and lightweight which is perfect for thailand weather. Any questions just shoot me a message or something on here. Also if anyone knows roughly what size I'll be that would be super.
  8. I had my BA on Thursday, 27 February with Dr Val at The Cosmetic Institute. I am a Brisbane girl so I flew down on Wednesday morning with my Mum and had my consult on Wednesday morning. Dr Val immediately relaxed me and my Mum (a hard task!) and I left there feeling excited, confident and very ready for my surgery. Dr Val is highly professional, passionate and listens intently to what his patients wish to achieve. I am thrilled with my choice of surgeon and would highly recommend him. The surgery itself was a breeze. I was admitted at 8:30am and put into my gown and booties and sexy hair net and sat on a beautiful hot blanket next to another lovely girl from Tasmania who was having her surgery that morning. The anaesthetist inserted a canular into my arm and talked to me about what to expect, then Dr Val took some photos, did some drawings and we had a final chat about sizing and placement. I was walked into the operating room, laid on the bed, I told the nurse I was nervous and then goodnight nurse! That is the last thing I remember before waking up in the recovery room feeling a little drowsy but otherwise great. The nurse sat me up and helped me get dressed, walked me to a recliner and gave me water and biscuits. I felt amazing! Bright and chirpy and pain free, the only noticeable change was a tight feeling in my chest. My mum was then brought in to see me – so good to have a familiar face! The nurse then gave us both a post-care briefing and called me a taxi. I spent the remainder of the day in my apartment relaxing and watching a movie. I felt incredibly normal other than a tight feeling in my chest. I have used Panadol forte previously for back pain and found it provided me little relief so I skipped that and started straight on endone. I can honestly tell you that I did not, and have not, felt a single ounce of pain from my BA by using endone every four hours for the first 4 days. Hot tip – set your alarm for 4 hours after you have gone to sleep to make sure you stay on top of the pain. Don’t wait until you’re waking up uncomfortable or in pain to take your next tablet. I flew home to Brisbane on Saturday afternoon and Saturday was probably my toughest day, I felt tired and was just eager to get home. Unfortunately we had a 5pm flight but had to check out of the room at midday which meant a bit of stuffing around, the pouring rain didn’t help! I had my 1 week post-op check-up last night with my local GP and amazingly the incisions have healed incredibly well. They are SO small (about an inch long) and very faint. I had absolutely no bruising at any stage following my surgery, the worst part was swelling on the sides of my rib cage near my underarms, the majority of that has now subsided completely. I returned to work on Wednesday, 5 March exactly 1 week post op and this was adequate time for recovery. For anyone travelling to TCI for the BA or any other surgery, I stayed at Fiori apartments for the sole reason of price and space. I paid about $560 for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which meant we had a full kitchen and me and mum weren’t on top of each other. It isn’t fancy and yes there are finger prints on the glass and a few marks on the walls , but the linen and bathrooms are clean and the rooms are quiet so it was perfect for us. The convenience store directly downstairs is a bonus too. I was perfectly happy with staying here, especially the very short walk to TCI, the train station and Westfield. I have had a fabulous experience with TCI and my BA and 1 week and 1 day post op I am 100% pain and medication free and looking forward to life with my new assets. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Val and if you’re unsure about which surgeon to go with, he is your man!
  9. Hi all! I am thinking of having my breast augmentation done again to go bigger, and would love to hear of people's experiences through it! Also how much did it cost 2nd time round ? Did you go to the same surgeon or someone else? And most importantly are you happy with you results now!?
  10. Hi girls, I am thinking about getting a calve reduction. I have enormous calves due to genetics (it is the about the same size of my thigh!) I was wondering if any one has had this procedure done and where. Please share your experience if possible! ps I am going to PIAC in phuket thailand january for BA, so it would be cool if anyone knows if PIAC offers this service (couldnt find it on the website) and share their experience! thanks in advance
  11. Hi everyone,I am just wondering if anyone has had lipo here?Especially neck lipo in particular?I have only found one review on google and it was not a great one - rushed and overcharged. I am not too worried about the rushed part - A friend has had work done here and they are no frills, in and out kind of place.I am worried about the charges though, I was quoted the first price point - if it takes an extra half hour that's double the cost! With my wedding coming up in 6 months, I really can't afford it to take extra time.I am also interested to hear about people's experiences with recovery and results.Any info would be most appreciated!thanks!

  13. Hi everyone! I'm day 4 post op & thought I'd share my story as I found these threads useful when I was doing research on my BA! Day 1: Got there a little early and they were running a little behind schedule, this gave me time to kill so I purchased all the prescriptions and got myself a Thai massage which relaxed all my unnecessary nerves! Once I got back they prepped me into a room and went through everything thoroughly, took photos etc.. Got into the theatre room with 4 lovely nurses and Dr Tang! A minute or two later I was out cold! I woke up in the recovery room still very drowsy and one of the nurses helped me afterwards in the car after mum arrived. I wasn't feeling too well at home, so vomited a few too many times - I think this was due to the endone that I took. Day 2: Not too sure what everyone means about morning boob, but if its a stretched, pulling, aching, about to burst feeling.. Then I had morning boob! I forced myself to have a shower, I had trouble pressing the body wash and reaching around my body. My left side feels more sore, more swollen and less mobile but I've heard that its common as its where the heart is? My left boob is slightly bigger than the right but I'm sure it will even out soon! Day 3,4: Not much difference, however I am able to move around more, less pain but my back is aching so much!! I can't wait to see my boobs settle and go down, but so far it looks great. My first contact with TCI was January 2013 and they have been nothing but excellent! The facility and service is great and you really get looked after, for the money you pay you really do get superior service, with my ongoing questions from day 1 they're patient and welcoming! I chose nagor implants, 300cc. Feel free to ask any questions
  14. Hey fellow Rhinoplasties!! I want to start this thread so people can share their stories POST OP. I'd love to know the changes you've seen at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year POST OP. Was there a major difference? What was your reaction when the cast came off? I'm just past 10 days post op, still swelling present, although I'm seeing tiny changes every day
