1. HelloThis is my fourth post-surgical day, I did Liposuction in my back, waist and abdominal area and tummy tuck because i had some extra skin , it took me almost 3 months to lose some weight because when I started searching for a Doctos I knew All the weight that I should lose before having surgery, other wise I couldn't get the results I wanted, so I found Bestplasticsurgerydestination web page and I started asking for the recomandations and I send my pictures, then this company contact me explaining that they work in Bolivia , I've seen the webpage prices and it was awsome how cheap it was , the only thing was that at the beginning I ask my self, was where I was going to do my surgery , then the company got encharge to explain every step of the trip , most important is that they don't charge any amount of money until I was totally convinced with the doctor and the clinic, so in this past 3 month while I was loosing wait I try to get as much information as possible to feel confident to travel to Bolivia, it is not the first time I visit Bolivia because 7 years ago we went for a trip to Argentina ,Brasil Chile and Bolivia so I had an idea of the country, also I made some friends, and I knew life here is so cheap. So I plan my trip to Santa Cruz Bolivia, when i was here I only get to know La Paz wich is the capital ,but any way, my flight was on tusday night I arrived on wensday mornning , I arrived to the hotel and in the afternoon a very good loking man picked me up, he was my assistant ,and he has been taking care of me all of this time, we went to have blood test and cardiological test , and finally!!!!! I had my apointment with Dr Arias! He already knew me, so I felt so confortable with him , we talk and we decided that we will follow the program, so all my blood work and cardio test was totally fine and at the next day I did My Lipo!! I'm so happy!!! now this is my dream come true ! Now i'm in pain but i know this will be for a while and I know it was going to be a sacrifice ! but it was the risk i was willing to take ! i'm so exited to see the results , I will see Dr Arias today and I just expect everything to look as great as i expected !
2. Hello, if you are/were a tuberous girl and have had your augmentation I would love to hear from you. Are you happy, satisfied, did you get what you were wanting. How did you come to terms that you couldn't have perfect results? In my case im super OCD so if its not right im scared ill still be unhappy and that the 20k wasn't worth it... Thank you in advance for you opinions
3. I had bilateral correction of tuberous breasts with mastoplexy and implants yesterday morning! I had stage 2 tuberous breasts. I thought I would write up my entire hospital journey as I figured it would help some girls put their minds at ease as I was quite nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect! (Which is completely normal). I woke arrived at the hospital at 7:17am and went to the main desk to check in. I was told to go up a level to the admission lounge. Once there I checked in at the second desk and told my name would be called shortly. The room was quite packed with other patience and their family. After around 15 minutes I was called by a lady who took me into a small room to go over my patient form and check all my details were correct. After that she told me to go out and wait in the lounge again where I would be called by my nurse. I was second on the list and called within 10 minutes. Once my name had been called my weight and height was checked and I was taken to a temporary room where I would change into my gown, compression stockings and little foot covers. A nurse came in and went over my details, she came in and out about 4 times. Another nurse came in and went over my details again. Next I was greeted by my surgeon, he marked me up and left. Straight after my anaesthetist came in and went over the anaesthesia with me, followed by his assistant. They then wheeled me into the theatre. I was shocked by all the people in scrubs in there! There was about 13+ people in the theatre. I wiggled from my temporary bed onto the theatre bed with the help of what I assume was one of the male nurses. I was also greeted by my surgeons assistant. The anaesthetist asked me what drink I liked and I replied with tea. He said something like "wha?!" and then I said I love cider too and his assistant agreed with me saying "I love cider too! The fruity stuff?" And I said "Yes! Apple is my favourite".He stood to the left of bed and asked what I do, I told him, and he and the male nurse asked further about it. The anaesthetist then inserted a needle into my left vain and continued talking. I felt the effects very fast, well within 2 minutes. At first I felt fuzzy... Kind of like when you are tipsy and feel good, hahaha. Then I felt sleepy and that's the last thing I remember until I woke up. I very, very slightly remember someone waking me up by saying my name and telling me it went very well and lifted my bra to show me my boobies. (I thought it was just me dreaming until I was later told when I woke up again that my surgeon visited me) I then woke up properly to a lady saying my name and being aware of what was going on around me and realising I was in the recovery ward. I felt very husky in the throat and had lost my voice a little bit, I was also still clearly tired. She put an oxygen mask on me. I felt pain in the crease of my breasts and bellow where the muscle is. The only way I can explain it is when you get a deep cut in your skin and multiply that pain x10. On a pain scale of 1-10 I told her it was a 7. She gave injected some pain relief into my drip and about 10 minutes later asked again. I said 4 and she said we want it about a 3, so she gave me another injection. The pain went down to a 3.5 and she gave me some more until it felt like I just had a tight chest. I told her "I feel good besides my sexy husky voice". During this process I had an arm slip and finger clip measuring my blood pressure and oxygen every 10 minutes or so. I waited around for 20 minutes until I was taken to my ward by 2 staff. I went out the door, up the elevator, around the corner and into a room with 5 elderly ladies in their hospital beds. I met my ward nurses who were just the most beautiful hearted women. They went over my details, checked my stitches and took off the top leg compression garment. They attached my blood drains to the bed and checked them. They commented at how bright and chirpy I looked. I felt so good! As if I hadn't had surgery, just a big arm day at the gym the previous day. They checked my blood pressure and oxygen every 30 minutes for the next 5 hours or so. I was given tea, cheese and crackers by one of the food staff. My nurse gave me my tea but told me I was not able to eat just yet. As you probably expect you really have to pee after surgery! Haha. So I told my nurse and she un-attached my drains, put them in a pillow case. She got me to sit at the edge of the bed to check that I wouldn't get nausea or faint. Again, I felt awesome! She carried my drip stand to the bathroom for me and I went with no issue. Once I was done she helped me back to my bed. I was given a big jug of water which I skulled down and was served a delicious dinner not long after. A tomato and chicken dish, veggie soup, bread roll, fruit salad and apple juice. I scoffed it down like I hadn't eaten in a week! I didn't feel sick at all from eating or drinking. They continued to checked on me and my drip was taken out at about 7:30pm but they left the needle in my arm so they could continue giving me the antibiotic. I had to go to the bathroom again and I started to feel pain at the side of my breasts. I was given some pain drugs with soothed the pain. I didn't feel tired so I watched movies until about 1:30am. Every 4 (I think) hours a nurse would come and give me an antibiotic through the needle in my arm. It is a very weird feeling have something cold pushed through your vain! Eventually I turned the TV off and just lay hoping to get tired. I think my lack of tiredness was due to having such a deep sleep from the anaesthesia combined with the adrenaline from everything going on around me. I dosed off at about 2:30am and fell in and out of sleep. The lights in the ward turned back on around 7:30 and I was given breakfast (eggs Benedict, bacon, peaches, wheatbix, orange juice, tea and toast) and pain medication not long after. Then my Surgeon visited me to see how I was and check how they were. He was very happy and left. The nurse came and took out my drains at 9:20. I did not feel them being taken out but afterward I become very hot, sweaty, light headed and nauseated. This was the first time a felt sick during the entire ordeal. I pressed the button for the nurse and she moved my bed so my legs were elevated higher and the rest of my body lower. After 10 minutes I felt much better and got dressed. I then signed my dispatch form and left! I am now home resting in bed with very little pain and ready to have a nice rest and watch Netflix! I highly recommend an overnight stay if you have the option (and private health insurance). I felt so well cared for. I am a very healthy person but I feel like I would have felt like crap if I hadn't chosen to stay the night. I can tell all the professional care has had a great effect on my healing. I am positive I am going to have a very successful and fast recovery because of it. I am now home and extremely happy. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Trotter and the rest of the team at Epworth Richmond. I highly recommended Dean, he's very talented. From my first email I could tell I would be in very good hands with him.He was the only surgeon that personally answered all my questions and really expressed that he wanted the best for me. I didn't bother seeing any other surgeons for consultations. My instinct was correct and I can finally look down and see the breasts I was meant to have. He gave me 350cc moderate plus on each breast. I had hesitations that 350cc would not give me the size I hoped for but I can well and truly say they are spot on and are already perfect. Please feel free to message me if you would like information on Medicare, PHI, photos, etc. I know I was lost when I started researching and it was so much help to have girls answer my questions with their knowledge and personal experience .
4. Hi Girls, I am a bit slow at getting on here, I just want you to all know that I have had my shitty surgery fixed and am now 2 weeks post op I went to see numerous surgeons in Briz and on the Gold Coast, there were many tears, brick walls, and unwillingness to help...with a few 'get what you paid for' comments (which really got to me considering it wasn't a money thing for me to begin with) this year has been the most challenging yet, and for the first time I almost feel that i am emerging from a very dark place, slowly but surely I will bounce back to my crazy self but I never thought I would, until I met Dr ******. He was so supportive throughout this entire journey, he was the first surgeon I saw for a consult, so I had to do right by my own self and get opinions from a few, he was without a doubt the most confident in his ability to fix the problems, and the most willing, I was told by others that it would be a minimum of 18,000 to fix, others said to just leave it and live with it, no one wanted to touch it. (there was one other that would have helped but not with exactly what i wanted) Dr Ces released my inner chest muscles, took the old implants out, removed the pocket (scar tissue you create through massage) and put in new Brazilians, which you don't massage...win!...placed them closer together, stitched down where they were on the outside, and smiled through the whole process, he also went quite bigger...which I am pretty happy about! They will never be absolutely perfect, due to the first job, but i look at them now and already am pretty stoked!! and they will only get better from here as they heal. Thank you all for your support through some pretty shitty times, it was so nice to know I'm not alone, as soon as i can get a nice pic ill upload!! The Aussie company I went with for all of the girls that asked was Restored Beauty Getaways... let me know if you have any questions xo
5. So I went to my 3 month check up yesterday and I saw dr dona instead of the nurse. I told him how I was unhappy with the results He had a look, and confirmed that I would need revision He said I would need to have another breast lift and he would need to make the pocket lower I asked about going bigger while getting the revision done, we talked about sizes and we agreed on 750cc as it was the biggest I could go with that type implant/width. Has anyone got 750cc or around? I am currently 615cc I'm soooo happy with how dr dona handled everything, I can't wait for December!!
6. Hi gals, I went with Dr Jake Lim in Parramatta for my surgery and I would definitely recommend him to anyone! My experience with Dr Lim was everything I wanted and I am over the moon with my results. Firstly I came across the website during my many hundreds of hours of research for breast augmentation... I emailed the clinic and got a reply shortly after with plenty of information about breast augmentation surgery and the clinic. After a few emails back and forth, I booked in for a consultation and they tried to find a time that suited me as they were aware I live a few hours out of Sydney. The drive down wasn't too bad, and parking was easy because the clinic is right near Westfield Parramatta; so you can park in the car park, walk over and when the consultations over you can have a shop! At the consultation Dr Lim recommended sizes for my body type and took a few photos. I felt completely comfortable during this process and Dr Lim answered all of my questions. I did not feel pressured to book in my surgery and came out feeling more confident about the surgery. The girls in the office explained all the fees for the surgery and made you feel completely at ease. Even though I did not book in on that day, after having the consultation I felt so much more aware of what I wanted. A few weeks later I decided to book in my surgery with Dr Lim, and they booked me in for a pre-op to discuss the final sizing of the implant, what the surgery would involve, all the possible complications and payment options. The drive down this time was much better when I knew where I was going. After my pre-op I was so excited for the surgery and not nervous at all....Except before the night of the surgery when I started freaking out and didn't get to bed till around 1am because I was over thinking everything! I had to be at the hospital by 6am on the day of my surgery (I stayed in a hotel the night before so I didn't have to rush to Parramatta). At the hospital I had to fill only about 3 forms in and then was taken up to have my blood pressure taken, weight etc. and remove all my jewellery. Afterwards I had to get dressed in the hospital gown and wait about 15mins in a bed until they came and wheeled me into a small room where the anaesthesiologist placed the cannula in my wrist (didn't hurt AT ALL because he gave me a numbing injection beforehand). He also gave me a dose of something to calm the nerves which helped a bit! Dr Lim came into the room after a few minuted and drew the markings on my chest for surgery. Not long after I was wheeled into the surgery theatre and they hooked me up to the anaesthetic. That was the last thing I remembered before nodding off into a deep slumber for a few hours! When I woke up in recovery I felt a tiny bit nauseous, a bit painful and slightly hungry. The nurses came over straight away to check on me and ask how I was feeling. They gave me some nausea and pain medication and after a while I was wheeled off into my own room to recover. I didn't feel much pain at that point I was just tired. A couple of hours later Dr Lim came and took my bandages off to check on me, then put me in a bra and stabiliser strap. Not long later I could go home! I couldn't believe the surgery was actually all over!! I was in a bit of pain for the first two - three days but after that it was more of a tight uncomfortable feeling, especially since my skin had been quite tight. After a week I went back for a post op consultation at Dr Lim where the nurse removed a stitch from each breast. Dr Lim then checked the girls over and I went on my way! It has now been 5 weeks and I am soo happy with the results! I went from a small 10B to now measuring a 10DD with 375cc round HP textured. If anyone is considering Dr Lim as an option for their surgery I completely recommend him!
7. Hello all! I got my nose done in January of 2012. I was 21 at the time and I am now 22. Well, a year and two months ago I got my deviated septum fixed, and along with it cosmetic changes. This is a long time to write my story, but I thought waiting until it healed would be best. I've always suffered from poor breathing and sense of smell since I broke my nose. I was also very self conscious, my nose was fairly large and unfeminine due to the breaks and genetically a larger nose. I decided I had enough of not wanting to look people in the eye and feeling bad about how I looked every day. I read many, many reviews on all the doctors and heard Dr. Andrew Greensmith had a much more 'natural' approach to his end results. I had placed confidence in him, so I decided to travel down to Melbourne (where I used to live) for a consult. During the consult, he was extremely professional. He actually pulled up a lot more issues that could be corrected - He was going to fix the deviated septum, break the nose to reset it and remove some of the bulk from the side. I wanted a completely straight nose, so he would shave down the bone. He also slimmed the top of my nose, removed some of the area between the nostrils and raised the tip of my nose slightly. He even went through my mouth to remove some of the bone UNDER my nose to make it sit more in shape with my face. Phew! It was going to be a very long operation, around three hours. They took the xrays and he showed me 'my new nose'. I couldn't of been happier seeing it, it looked perfect. At that point I knew we were on the same page and I felt very happy with the prospect of him being my surgeon, so I didn't bother seeing anyone else. I came back merely months later very early in the morning to get my surgery after two consults. No make-up, loose clothes and a bit nervous. I met the anesthesiologist who was an extremely nice man, and they put some numbing cream where I was going to get my needle. Sadly the nurse put it on the wrong area, but when I was lying down the needle itself wasn't so bad and I was out in a flash! When I woke up, I remember flash backs of being in and out of consciousness and then I was alert, upright sitting on a chair and eating haha. No idea how it happened or how I got my clothes back on, but my surgery was done and I had a big cast/splint on. I stayed in Melbourne for two weeks (rented a house with my parents) and to this day I think it was two of the best weeks of my life. Got to spend really good time with them, I had so much extra time to really pamper and take care of myself and just focused on healing the best I could. When I got the stitches out, it was a very uncomfortable feeling. I still have a little nick in my nose from where I was cut. Getting thre packing out was sort of uncomfortable, but not painful - a very odd feeling! When the splint was taken off, I was a bit upset and shocked at how different and small my nose looked, and all during the car ride back to my state I was looking at it. My mother had gone home after the first week but never saw the end result - so when I did get home, she said it looked so beautiful and natural, and a smaller version of my nose before. Not many people in general even noticed it was different at all, some people asked if I changed my hair haha (which I did!) and said I looked nice. As for the picture they made on the computer, I fee that my nose came out nicer than the image. He didn't get the nose completely straight from the side, there is a small dip but its very flattering. Now, I am completely satisfied with my new nose. It has completely restored my confidence, and I am much less anxious now and as I said, couldn't be happier with Dr. Greensmith. If anyone is considering him to be your surgeon, I urge you to at the very least have a consult. Amazing man and Doctor! Now for the pictures These pictures are in order, the first day getting back of my surgery and then throughout the two weeks. Had only a tiny amount of bruising. Last two pictures was the day I got my splint off and the tape put on my nose (wore it for two days).
8. HI GIRLS! I am out of surgery after having BA with Dr. Sanguan at Phuket Internationa Hospital. I stayed the night and was dishcharged pretty much straight away today. I AM OVER THE MOON! Best experience of my life and it has onlyjust begun. Dr.Sanguan said I was one of his easiest and most strongest patients..in saying that I am still in pain adjusting to the weight on my new chest... but too happy to focus on it. I am estatic about my results and recovery so far.. I will post lots of piccies soon (when it decides to work) YAY! I asked for 450CC as it was the biggest I could go... Dr.Sanguan nearly had to put in smaller implants right before surgery as I have very tight skin.. but thankully it was do-able and looking at them now, they are the PERFECT size for my body and frame! I just have to take my recovery very slow and easy. I went under the muscle and under the breast fold incision. The word I keep using to describe my BA is SUPRISED! I am soo suprised at how well the BA went and looks. I am so suprised and happy with Dr.Sanguans work and all of his and all of the nurses help. I felt like Royalty at Phuket International Hospital! It was so easy to book directly through them and have had car transfers booked for me whenever needed. I HIGHLY reccommend the amazing Phuket International Aesthetic Centre in Phuket International Hospital. I also met Peter Davidson who is an Australian, and is the head Manager ofthe hospital. I felt so comfortable speaking with him as he is Australian. But, in saying that.. all the thai nurses were wonderful and my consulation with Dr. Sanguan was the most comfortable and informative consault I have ever had. I can say that goingto Phuket for plastic surgery was the easiest and better choice, rather than Australia. They have blown me away. Now all I have to do is relax and recover in paradise until I get my stitches out next wednesday :D I am one happy girl!! Cant wait to post pics and keep you all updated xx Raquel xx:rolleyes::D
