  1. Hi Girls, I haven't seen any forums for August ladies and wanted to know if anyone else is feeling just as nervous as I am? I'm travelling from Melbourne and having surgery with Dr Tavakoli on August 16 and would love to know if there are other Dr Tav or August girls out there booked for surgery😊 Anyone else travelling interstate for their BA?
  2. Hi, I'm completely new to this forum and have recently booked both my first consult and surgery date with dr Dona. I'm beginning to wonder if I was wrong to book them both at the same time... I live interstate and didn't want to have to wait 3 months for consultation (he only does face to face consults) and if that went well wait another 3 months for a surgery date plus I have 2 kids so didn't want to leave them more than once for trips to Sydney. I completely trusted online articles and reviews/pics from his patients to make my decision in choosing him as my surgeon. Has anyone else booked both their first consult and surgery date at the same time? I also sent pics to his team to make sure I only needed the BA and was told "I possibly may not need a lift" Is there anyway I can find out if I definitely won't need one before my surgery or can I just trust that statement as meaning I won't need the lift....I'm a tad confused...Thanks!
  3. Hi everyone, My twin sister and I got our surgery done together by Dr Tang on thursday 25th feb! At the Concord private hospital. Everything went smoothly thank god. We had our consults a day before with dr tang. Was exciting. I chose 295cc Moderate round textured implants . My aim was not massive boobs, just plump C cups. Dr tang was very sensible at the consultation. . On surgery day he was very energetic and bubbley! He took approx 45-55 mins on my surgery, our nurses said aparently he is one of the faster surgeons at TCI. A little few random facts i can think of that i want to share. At the hospital, we had this asian lady named Nicole for our nurse. She was absolutely HILERIOUS. if you get her you will fall in love ! She was so caring and comforting, and after surgery i had to ask her to please stop being so funny because i didnt want to laugh LOL. Ok another random thing i can think of, the second night post op was absolute HELL. my sister and i took 2 pandadine forte and 1 antibiotics at dinner which was approx 7pm. Then around 3.5 hrs later we took one endome each to put us to sleep. (Endome is a stronger pain killer that you only have if you require.) ... biggest mistake of our life. We were up every hour vommiting. I vomited 7 times, my sis 9 times. Please girls, be careful. Dont over do your meds. We got carried away. Vomitting 2 days after a BA doesnt feel slightly nice. It hurts, alot. I just want to warn yous dont over do pain killers. Ok so today, on a brighter note, we are 3 days post op. Today we got out of bed OURSELFS alone. Which hurt, but was a massive achievement. I cantwait untill i can sleep on my back again, my neck and back are in so much pain. I am a bit dopey at the moment, ive got heaps to tell yous but dont know where to start. Please ask me anything you want! I would love to help or explain any quires where i can. 😊
  4. Hi ladies, I have seen a lot of you have travelled for your surgery and was just wondering what your consults were like. Did you Skype your surgeon or something before the face to face consult? Should I be requesting this? Thanks in advance! X
  5. Hi girls I am now two weeks out from having my surgery and I don't have a clue on what type of clothes I should pack to wear after surgery and what clothes to take into surgery with me to wear after etc.. What are everyone's thoughts and experiences on this? Bearing in mind it will be freezing in sydney when I fly down and I'm use to the warm weather in cairns so I like to be nice and snug haha I think this may be a problem though as most winter warmies are quite fitting etc. Any help is appreciated! X
  6. Hey girlies, For the girls that are or have flown interstate for their BA what did you pack and what was your must haves? If there was something you didn't pack and thought you would have liked to have had what was it. I'm also struggling with what clothes to buy as it will be really cold when i head to sydney.. what would you guys suggest in terms of clothing.. also any tips on flying after surgery would be great! thanks girls xx
  7. Hi girls I'm booked in with Dr Tang at TCI's parramatta clinic in August and counting down the days! Im going to be traveling from wa and have only taken 2 weeks off work(12days after surgery). I was just wondering if that will be enough to time to go back to general duties but no lifting? Any advice from interstate patients would be great! Also any feedback on having Dr Tang as a surgeon would be great too. Thanks xx
  8. Hi ladies Has anyone travelled interstate to have BA at TCI without any friends/family members? I may be travelling alonw and am looking to find out if others have done the same. In particular I'd like to know what you did for immediate aftercare (i.e. getting back to the hotel and the first 10 hours). Thanks in advance
  9. Hi ladies, For those who travels interstate for their breast augmentation, i know we are told that you have follow ups with your local GP. Just wondering... is this recommended, necessary or if required? Did you do it? Booked in for March, can not wait!!!
  10. Hi girls I live in Adelaide, looking at travelling to Sydney for BA surgery. I have consultations booked for Feb with Dr. Miroshnik and Dr. Tavakoli.. I'm looking for some information from others who have travelled interstate for the surgery. Just general things I am wondering, like how long should I expect to stay in Sydney? How will I go with the flight home? Do I have follow up appointments with Doctors in Adelaide? Etc. thanks in advance x
