  1. Hi everybody, I am considering having a consult with Dr patrick walsh for Rhinoplasty in Melbourne. Does any one know the cost of the rhinoplasty / nose job?
  2. Hi all, I'm kind of a newbie and very confused. I was initially looking at seeing Andrew Greensmith for rhinoplasty thanks to the lovely people on this forum who have kindly shared their wonderful experiences. I have heard nothing but good things about him. However, I have also come to the realisation that perhaps I cannot afford him as his prices are quite steep (from what I have heard from his patients that I have spoken to). Therefore, I am now looking at the option of ENT surgeons. Is this a bad avenue to pursue? Has anyone had a cosmetic rhinoplasty procedure done with an ENT surgeon in Melbourne, or does anyone know of any reputable ENT surgeons who have experience in cosmetic rhinoplasty? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nora xoxo
  3. So I have been wanting my nose to be fixed for a while now. It has a small bump I want smoothed out. I had been having sinus trouble so I visited ENT specialist Mr Briggs in Victoria Parade. Sinuses are fine, and I asked about Rhinoplasty so he referred me to his partner Mr Randal Lueng. http://www.leungent.com.au/MR_RANDAL_LEUNG_ENT_Surgeon/Home.html I have an appointment in about 2 weeks. Was doing some research and have come across people swearing to NOT go to an ENT surgeon for Rhinoplasty. I am now unsure whether or not what to do. One of the reasons I made an appointment was that ENT surgeons don't cost nearly as much as a plastic surgeon, and Mr Briggs said Randal is very good. Has anyone been to Mr Leung or have any suggestions?!
  4. Hi, I'm new to this site and im in the early stages of researching for rhinoplasty! I'm based in melbourne and wanted to see if any of you can recommend a surgeon that's good at asian noses, as I have the typical flat bridge, bulbous nose going on. Last year I got dermal fillers and now I want the permanent fix. I was thinking of finding an asian surgeon because I assume they'll be more familiar with asian noses and will know how to work with one. I may be wrong, but as I mentioned, I'm new to this whole thing and really have no idea where to start when it comes to looking for a surgeon! I've only come across dr. andrew kim and dr. michael xu. Have any of you guys been to either?
  5. Hi guys! This is my first time posting although I have been following these discussions for a few months now. If it wasn't for all these posts I'd be really confused so thank you! Basically, my background is Italian and I've hated my nose ever since I can remember I have a deviated septum and feel the ball on the tip of my nose is too big for my tiny face and frame (I'm sure the DS makes it look much worse too). Unfortunately, although I have just taken out private health and can potentially get some back from medicare for the DS, I can't justify paying Chris Moss's rates even though I hear he's amazing (unless I win tattslotto) and his quote is only valid for a few months. Aren't most valid for 12 months??? Sometimes I wish I was only dealing with a hump as from what I understand that's alot easier to deal with than a lump of cartilage on the end of your nose. One of my biggest fears is the whole thing collapsing (my mum now looks like a platypus although she did hers 20 years ago). I'm just so scared! Although I would have given anything to get my nose done, now that I'm doing research I weighing up whether I'm willing to take the risk or just live with what I have (even though it makes me miserable ) I know I'm asking alot as I don't want to spend too muchn- but am looking for the perfect surgeon. At this point I'm thinking about seeing Andrew Greensmith (unless others can recommend some surgeons at the same surgery) and potentially Alan Briedahl. Can anyone out there with a similar nose to me recommend what surgeon to see or stay away from? It's keeping me up at night!!! Thanks
