  1. Would love to see before and afters of your tummy tuck, how far post op you are and your scars if your willing to share them?
  2. Hi all! Anyone on here had a BL & BA and is a serving or was a serving member of the police force or military? Looking at getting surgery but also planning on joining a service next year. Just wanting to know what your experience was having implants. Not looking at getting anything over the top. I lost 30kg and lost my girls in the process, so planning on getting a extended tummy tuck and breast lift and augmentation.
  3. Any have experience with Dr Gavin Sandercoe? I have plans to get 'the works' done... but I only know people who have see Dr Tav, Dr Tim and Dr Miroshnik. I like Dr Sandercoe's understated-ness and the fact he is an experienced trauma surgeon and has run a Plastics Department before. Plus the experience in reconstructive surgery is great - it is a skill to make something beautiful out of something that is not so much. I am really excited about seeing him soon but want to speak to any previous patients for their opinion.
  4. I'm looking at getting a tummy tuck, breast lift and implants in Perth Western Australia. Can anyone recommend someone? Also looking for rough prices, I know that everyone is different so prices will vary, just after a ballpark figure so I have somewhere to start. Thanks
  5. Hi there. I am having a BA and TT in August. As a side sleeper, I'm a little nervous about this! Just wondering if anyone can provide further details about having to sleep upright? How long for? How many pillows behind you? What's the reason behind this? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi everyone. I am really interested in getting a mummy makeover. (Tummy tuck, breast lift, implants, brazilian butt lift etc) I am a size 6 but I've been left with saggy breasts, and a stretched tummy. I would like to know if anyone has had a Mummy Makeover overseas with any of the combination surgeries above, and who they went to and how happy you are with the results. I am not interested in anything in Australia as I am looking for a more affordable solution that will get the same results, (and performed with the same amount of hygiene and expertise) Thanks!
  7. Hi everyone, I am a Brisbane based mum researching surgeons in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a tummy tuck. So far I have had one consultation with Dr Kane, and I have 3 more booked in with Dr Terrance Scamp, Dr Paul Belt and Dr Lily Vrtick. I was wondering if any ladies who have had tummy tucks with these Drs, would be willing to share their experience and/or results? Or suggest any other Brisbane and Gold Coast Doctors? One of my main concerns is having a scar as low as possible, and preferably straight, & neat looking. Thanks so much!
  8. Hi Everyone After losing 45kgs (10kg still to go) im wanting to get a breast lift with implants and a tummy tuck (Mummy Makeover) when the time comes. Im looking into the following surgeons and wondering if anyone can offer reviews Dr Miroshnik Sydney Dr Moradi Sydney Dr Jeremy Hunt Sydney
  9. So this is the start of my journey. I am not really expecting too many people to read or follow, but I figured that if there is anyone out there to give me tips or advice, then I would love to hear it! Actually I would love to hear it all! I would rather be prepared with more advice than not enough. Over the past 2 weeks i have been investigating getting a tummy tuck. The more I have researched, the more appealing the mummy makeover has become. I actually love my breasts and did not really see a need to get them increased, but now after looking at enhancements, i am excited. I have been considering the costs of getting a mummy makeover here in Australia versus Thailand. I have gone over the pros & cons for the surgery & being overseas in an international country versus being at home. I like the idea of being at home for my recovery, however I know myself too well, i will not rest, I will run after my kids & did I mention that I am super mum - well so I think. But reality has hit me that I will be down & out for at least a few weeks & I want the best results from my surgery i can possibly get. So I have decided to go away to Thailand. Not to meantion that the cost has also been a major positive factor in this decision. Now to find a surgeon. I have read a lot of great feedback about Dr Boonchai & I have also read a lot of positive feedback about Cosmeditour. So I have made the first steps & contacted cosmeditour. They not only tried calling me to discuss what I am wanting to achieve but they have been very helpful with the million questions that i already have. First steps with cosmeditour - complete the online assessment form along with your photos for assessment. So this was a little daunting. I want to get a TT because I have always ben a fit & active dancer. But after having my children my stomach muscles did not rejoin & I have excess skin. Not only do I dislike the look of my stomach, but I cannot stand anybody looking at me - BUT WAIT - I have to send these photos to start my consultation. Anyways I have done it. I have sent all 12 photos through & now I am waiting on the results of my assessment. The surgeon they think would be best for me, the proceedure, size etc. I am now excited. I guess one thing that I did not mention is that I am looking to get this done around 20th August 2016 - yep about 5 weeks time. So if there is anybody else going to Thailand around the same time, i would love to hear from you. Once I have confirmed my surgery booking, I am sure that I will have a million questions about aftercare, garments, preparation for the op etc. I will post some photos shortly of my progress & story.
  10. I recently underwent a Mummy Makeover with Mr Allan Kalus (Plastic Surgeon) at Avenue Private Hospital in Windsor, Melbourne. Procedure involved: 1) tummy tuck with muscle repair, 2) breast augmentation, 3) liposuction. Initial consult: I found Allan to be very warm, knowledgeable, and understanding of WHY I was wanting to undertake these procedures (I just wanted to be in proportion, and repair the damage caused by 2 pregnancies). His website is extremely helpful. The open letter that he provides on there is so informative, that you pretty much know what you want before you even see him. While I was pretty confident of what I wanted when I arrived, he offered me some other alternatives that were less invasive and less expensive. This reassured me that he was interested in getting me results that I would be happy with, rather than just recommending the most expensive option. I couldn't find much in the way of reviews on line for Mr Kalus, but I decided that I wanted to make up my own mind, and have a consultation. Decision: I ultimately chose to go with Mr Kalus because he gave great advice, he has vast experience and all of the right qualifications, I really liked his personality and knew we could "work together" on this makeover. He is an advocate for saline implants, which was the only kind I was willing to consider. It was also great that he has his own Private Hospital, and a wonderful and consistent medical team (of which many have worked with him for a very long time). I liked the fact that I would be looked after by their "family". Kristina and Suzie were wonderful in answering my questions whenever they arose. They were knowledgeable, prompt and very friendly to deal with. Operation: Everything was very well organised. Meredith took me through the process, and held my hand as the anaesthetic was being administered, which was calming and reassuring. Dr Brace was my anaesthetist. He took wonderful care of me, and made me feel at ease. During the operation, he detected an abnormality in my heart beat (I do suffer from ectopic arrhythmia), and promptly sent me to have an ECG after surgery, just to ensure that it wasn't anything to be concerned about. Everything was fine, but I appreciated the extra level of care that he provided. The hospital itself is very well equipped and of high standards. The next thing I knew, I woke up in recovery. Results: I am SO HAPPY!! Mr Kalus has changed my life!! For the first time in my life, I feel feminine. My breasts are a wonderful shape and size for my frame. I used to have a bulging tummy as my muscles were separated, and I had a "baby pouch". I was in awe when I woke up to see that I had a flat stomach!! The pain has been very minimal, and the incisions are very neat. Aftercare: The wonderful Malinda has been taking great care of me, and making sure that I have been doing everything that I should be doing. She is very experienced in her field, and her personality makes the long commute to Melbourne worthwhile. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon in the Melbourne area, I would strongly recommend Mr Allan Kalus and his wonderful team. Just book a consultation and see for yourself. You have to go with what you feel is right for you. I am so glad that I trusted my gut instinct.

  13. Hi all I've been looking for surgeons to have a revision breast lift and remove and replace, I have a doctor in mind but I'm still shopping around. I've been looking at photos from Dr Alex Phoon and the results look amazing! I'm now considering the above procedures also paired with a tummy tuck (I'm not sure if that still qualifies as a mummy makeover). I'm wondering if anyone has an experience they can share? His reviews are fantastic and I can't find a bad word about him anywhere, but I'd love to actually talk to someone and ask some questions. Thank you in advance
  14. Hi ladies! I'm so glad I found this forum, it's so hard to Google stuff when you don't know the acronyms!! So, I'm uninsured. I've had a quote for a MM mummy makeover, TT BL+BA. I've a saggy baggy belly plus rectus diastasis and an epigastric hernia after a couple of enormous babies plus >20kg gain and loss post pregnancy. Droopy boobs that I've always hated with gigantic areola which are now even worse. The surgeon is absolutely top notch. He said he'd do a bit of lipo while he's there, on my thighs and near the TT incision as it will give a better result - he won't charge for it but I will have to pay theatre time. So my quote is just over $40k all told. This includes surgeon ($24k after medicare rebate), hospital stay ($9k), anaethetist ($6k), implants ($1k) and compression garment, as well as three months post-operative hospital/office visits. How does that stack up? I haven't shopped around as I've seen some of his work and he is undeniably a wizard I was planning on having the surgery later this year anyway, so my question is, would it be worth it to delay the surgery a further six months, jump into a health fund now, and later be able to have some covered by insurance? How much would I likely get covered, vs how much in premiums I would pay over the next 12 months? I can wait an extra six months if it means I can save a bit of money!! But for only a couple of thousand I'd probably eat it so as to be all healed and settled by my 40th next April Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks
